Had a great time bowling here and food was top notch. We didn't reserve lanes but was able to sneak in late afternoon on a Saturday. Lanes were well maintained and we used house shoes and balls. Only strange thing was so many balls are just stored under the ball holders by the lane versus behind the lanes. However many were double drilled for different sized fingers. Space is a little tight when both sides of the lane is being used so you do have to squeeze by each other a lot between the two areas. Table is kinda small. There is more space behind the lanes as well with some extra surfaces to hold drinks and food. Food was epic - literally best I've had at any bowling alley. We ordered the buffalo chicken quesadillas and the appetizer platter. Everything on the platter was tasty especially the chicken. Huge menu, good portions. Drinks were nice and cold. It was a bit hard to snag our server at times but he was very attentive when we did catch him.

Lucky Strike San Marcos is a fun spot that combines bowling, arcade games, and a bar all in one lively space. Pros: This place is huge and perfect for going with a group. The vibe is really fun and energetic, with good music and movies playing while you bowl which makes the experience even better. The bowling lanes are really nice and well-kept, and at around $13.99 per person per round (not including shoe rental), it felt like an okay deal for a group activity. A bit too expensive for me. They also have an arcade, which adds another layer of fun beyond just bowling, so you can switch things up throughout the night. There's also a bar on-site where we grabbed some beers, which made it feel more like a full night-out spot rather than just an activity. I did not have the food but they have options in the case you want to order some. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking is another big plus there's a large lot and it's completely free, so you don't have to stress about finding a spot or paying extra. Cons: It can get pretty busy depending on the time and day, especially with bigger groups coming in, so there might be a wait for lanes during peak hours. Price is more expensive than what I'd pay typically. Verdict: If you're looking for a fun group activity with a mix of bowling, arcade games, and drinks, this is a good spot to check out. It's clean, well-run, and has a really good vibe but the price tag is my only caveat.

Had a great time bowling here. Groupon has a great deal for 2 hours of bowling plus shoe rental. Do keep in mind as of 2/2026 their hours of operation have changed. Will for sure be back to bowl again.

This place has revamped since the last time I have been there. Normally I expect a dingy, moist, musty atmosphere, that smells like old lane oil, stale beer and old well-worn shoes. This place was pretty immaculate; the staff here was friendly even though the line was out the door, it was Friday the 13th and they had stickers which were awesome. The place has had a major revamp. The shoes were new; the balls were not all chipped up, the seats were clean. The cafe food even smelled good! I will be back, had a lot of fun!

Our favorite bowling alley Bowlero is now Lucky Strike. With the recent rain, we needed to celebrate my birthday indoors. So we tried getting two lanes on Sat - sold out; we walked-in at 11am on Sunday & got the last two lanes - crazy busy place on the weekend. We could have reserved lanes online - highly recommended- but I bought two Groupons which are great price-wise but prevent you from reserving a lane. 9 of us bowled for 2hrs & we had a great time. The on-demand bumper system is wonderful. Football was on tvs above the pins so we weren't missing the Chargers game. The lane with 5 bowlers needed an extra 5mins to finished the 10th frame but they were kind enough to give us time even though the lane was reserved.

Interior. Modern and high energy inside.

Giant hidden fancy bowling alley? Check. It's located where Bowlero used to be (and, I think the parent company owns both Bowleros and Lucky Strikes across the country). Blink while you're driving by and you might miss it. Whoever designed the buildings and parking areas in this location needs to answer a few questions and/or share what they were smoking. Fortunately, there is plenty of parking here. I highly recommend making a reservation online beforehand but you can walk in and try and get a lane without one. And, if you didn't already know, Lucky Strikes aren't cheap. Our check in at the shoe rental shop was very smooth. Incidentally, the shoes we received seemed pretty new and were very comfortable. That's a first for me at any bowling alley ever. There was uptempo music playing the entire time and huge TV screens playing everywhere. The balls appeared to be very new. Everything appeared to be very new. There were lots of group parties going on and it does seem like the kind of place you might go for a group party. We didn't try any of the food or drinks but most of the food we saw (other than the pizza) looked good. We had a good time and would happily return.

Had a great time. Staff was ON IT. Especially Tim at the front check in desk. He was super friendly, fast, and helpful. We walked in to a giant line and his customer service was A++++. Colby was our lane server and she was fast, sweet, and super cute and kind. Then when a video game was down (which employees have no control of by the way, so BE NICE TO THEM) Tim and Courtney were on it immediately to make it right. Side note: be NICE to your service industry people.

I really enjoyed this bowling alley. It was a fun experience. I hadn't been bowling in a really long time and we went on a company trip. The atmosphere was really fun. The food was great. The cocktails were good and it made me want to start bowling again. Loved it.

    My Beautiful Family

Hi, My Family wanted to take Me out to celebrate. There was 11 of us altogether. We wanted to go somewhere, where We could eat, have fun and get closer as a Family! It was decided We would go Bowling! We chose Lucky Strike in San Marcos, Ca. I didn't know what to expect, other than I was going to spend time with Family that I haven't seen in a while. Wow! Reservations were easily made on line, in advance. With much Excitement, the day finally came! The Staff was very Courteous and Friendly! The atmosphere was perfect. The place was clean. There was Music, State of the art Arcade, plenty of Parking, and Yes Bowling! Our server Joline, was very outgoing and Professional as She took My Family's order for Food and Drinks. The Food was Delicious and the Beverages, refreshing. Everything was reasonably priced. At least for Me, cause My Family paid! Before I left, I was able to go in the Kitchen and thank the Cooks personally! From Start to Finish, My Family gathering couldn't have been more Awesome! Just don't take My word for it. We celebrated our kids birthday here and absolutely loved it. Clean space, good food (except for pesto pasta) and nice little touches to make if special for the birthday kiddo. They were completely booked out but service was good. The birthday package also included a dedicated server who was great to work with. Overall super fun:)

They have various types of room available. We have the lakefront view room which was really nice and calming to look at the lake, the mountains, and to just allow the kids to look at the boats. We didn't eat on site since we had plan for various places to eat nearby such as Buona (a fresh pasta place) which is next to Wynston's (a local ice cream with delicious local flavor such as roasted pineapple with cinnamon). This place is a good midpoint to Legoland and SD Zoo Safari Park. The only deduction to rating is due to the lacking guest services agent while checking in. The lady manning the counter was not welcoming, no smiles, and seems to just be annoyed. So much for a nice place when the guest services agent doesn't seem happy to welcome eager guests. Was not even offered welcome drink and I didn't bother to ask less getting more attitude.

You get a pass to to rent paddle boards or kayak but kids can't do it so you will pay $20 to do a paddle boat. They have a fire pit and give you smore packet to make smores. The reason for the 3 stars goes toward the staff and manager Andrew. They told me over and over that they offer shuttle service to and from golfing and their restaurant which is less thank half a mile away. Walking distance. When I called for them to pick me up, the girl at the restaurant never got a hold of someone so I waited. When I went back she's like no one answered and I said well were you ever going to tell me? Get back and talk to a manager Andrew to tell him the experience. He basically sweeps it under the rug and said he was the only one there and he didn't answer the call. Other reason for low rating is the wait time in the counter. Seems like There's a lot of people in the back but only one person helping. People had to wait for bikes and check in checkout.
