However, on Saturday Sept. 12th (2026) there was a huge disconnect with the usual service. We arrived just after 6PM and were seated quickly. We and the couple we were with placed our order shortly after. However, we waited and waited and our server said the kitchen was backed up. That seemed reasonable as the restaurant was somewhat full. But we watched as table after table that arrived after us were served before us. One group of five people who were seated just before us received their dinner, ate, paid their bill and left even before our dinners arrived. The order for the four of us was for the two taco dinner, a cheeseburger, and two flatbread dinners. Not very complicated ! After a hour and 15 minutes I went to the concession counter and looked into the kitchen. The manager and four other employees were in there working. I noticed that what looked like our orders were being placed on a serving tray for bringing out - in fact it was our order. I didn't bother to talk to the manager as I was simply happy that it was finally ready. The apparent explanation, to me, is likely that orders were not being prepared in the sequence of their entry. I hit one of them with the ball and they begin throwing punches at us and begin chasing us across the park along with his group, and as we are already in danger the employee kicks both groups out where they are waiting in the parking lot for us. They threw rocks at our car, yelled slurs and others, and their mom encouraged it. I am mainly mad at the fact the employee instead of hearing out the story kicked both of us out which brought us much danger considering they were trying to fight us and we were forced into the parking lot with them.

The biggest downside was the heat, especially upstairs in the laser tag area. It was uncomfortably hot and could definitely use better ventilation. The party room itself is on the smaller side and felt very cramped (only accommodates 12 bodies comfortably) and was warm too. The arcade noise carries in even with the door closed as the walls don't go up to the ceiling, but noise is expected in an arcade setting. That said, there were a lot of thoughtful touches that really stood out. The party room was decorated well, with detailed under the sea murals on the wall, and the place settings were surprisingly nice with sturdy glowing plastic plates, cups, and neatly arranged silverware that matched the neon and black-light theme. It made it feel more put-together than typical party setups. (Even though I decorated with my own decorations and partyware, as the birthday girl had a particular theme she wanted.)Our party attendant made it a point to check in to empty trash and make sure everything was going smoothly. One of the most appreciated features was that parents could watch the laser tag games from downstairs on the screens, and a few were even allowed to jump in and play with their kids at no extra charge, which was awesome. The kids absolutely loved the variety of arcade games and had a blast. Party pricing and packages were comparable to other venues, with three options to choose from, and we really liked being able to bring our own food and drinks. They were also very accommodating, since there wasn't a party before ours, they let us in early to decorate at no extra cost, and they didn't rush us out at the end, only asking for 30 minutes to reset the room for the next group. That flexibility made a huge difference, especially since we had the largest party package with multiple laser tag rounds plus arcade time, cake, and food. Parking was a bit tricky, but that was expected at the oceanfront (and we were glad it was the off-season). Most importantly, the kids had an amazing time and the birthday girl is already asking to have another party there, which says it all. A FUN venue with great staff and party flexibility, just be prepared for the heat, especially upstairs, the typical arcade noise (even in the party room) and the frustration of VB Oceanfront parking, as there isn't dedicated parking for the venue.

Food and drinks were taking a very long time and at one point the staff told us they weren't taking anymore orders for a while but didn't tell us how long.
