Fried yimian ($12.95)

This is one of my favorite local Chinese vegan spots! I usually get takeout but dining in was also a great experience. The service is very friendly and quick. There are many tables that fit 6 people lined along the front sides and towards the back are tables for larger parties. I love how the interior is very clean and bright; it feels cozy like someone's home. They also provide an iPad with photos for easy reference/ ordering. Our waitress recommended the fried fish fillet and said that's one of their most popular dishes - we were not disappointed! Dishes we ordered: - Braised kidney flower ($18.95) - Fried Fish Fillet ($18.95) - Fried YiMian (noodles) ($12.95) - Mushroom dry pot (referred to as special dish, not on takeout menu) ($18.95) At the start of our meal we got a plate of pickled radish and at the end we got a plate of orange slices. Overall, a terrific spot for great food and flavors! They also sell vegan groceries downstairs.

The menu is a long read but once you get through it; you won't be disappointed. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and they don't use high inflammatory ingredients (according to the sign out front). We opted for a variety of dishes to share amongst 3 people. The dishes were beautifully served and presented. I even enjoyed the unique dish wares they served the meal in. The portions are sharable. But they also have plenty rice box options which are more portioned for lunch. Each dish was standout and delivered on flavor and texture. Additionally, not pictured we got a mustard greens side which was also yum. Save room for desert. They have a full menu of traditional Chinese desserts and cooling puddings.

Mohammed was eager to please you with any type of fish you decided on and would prepare it any way you liked. The young lady that waited the table was very pleasant and also eager to please you. I will definitely be eating there again and would take out if I'm on the go. In Bay Ridge I highly recommend this seafood eating experience.

The atmosphere is amazing -- such an amazing vibe, welcoming, and filled with positive energy. The staff is super friendly, professional, and always makes you feel at home. Everything is incredibly delicious, fresh, and clean. My personal favorites are the obvious winners: chicken wings, paella, ceviche, guacamole, tuna aguachile, chicken chuzo, and so much more... My son asks to go there at least once a week just for his favorite chicken chuzo with French fries! It's also super kid-friendly, which makes the experience even better. "Bar" well we all know what that means, "vamos, vamos, vamos!" Since my first visit last year, I was hungry for more deliciousness and decided to go with Yelpie friend, Sharon for brunch. Bar Chuzo has the restaurant and bar attachment which is where we dined. I happen to like the bar room for dining, it's charming and quieter for a Sunday brunch. Bar Chuzo offers really nice Brunch selections from ceviche, salchipapas, tuna, steak and apps from delicious fries, calamari, crab, plantain chips, croquettes and so much more. Here's what we ordered: Apps- Plantain chips( dinamita !) with a side of salsa verde. Yuca Croquettes with Yuca, Chihuahua cheese, and uchucuta sauce( green herb chile sauce with nuts) Dinamita number two! Two different brunch menus, Menu 1 offers apps, sides, entrees, cocktails and desserts. Menu 2: Bottomless Brunch for 90 minutes choice of Margaritas for $35 or Mimosas for $30. Mains: Crab cake Benedict consists of sunny side up egg, crab cake, potato cake, uchucuta hollandaise sauce, crostini and Chuzo salad. Sharon enjoyed it very much.Dinamita number three. Chicken Chuzo: Brasa marinated chicken skewers, Andes Ecuadorian corn, yuca croquettes. There are two skewers with three pieces of chicken on each, scrumptious, loved the taste of the chicken, the croquettes ( yuca again) nice accompaniment and the corn was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend! Dinamita number four. Cocktail: Mango peach sangria hit the spot! Service: Gabriella is a great, professional and accommodating server. Absolutely wonderful and knows her stuff! Dinamita number five. There are delicious desserts as well but too full. The portions are generous and this meal for me was lunch/dinner. The vibe here is chill with Latin music seeping into your veins. 'Mis felicitaciones al personal!' ( my compliments to the staff). From the…read moremoment we arrived, the entrance area appeared unclean and there was a strong odor resembling urine, which immediately created an unpleasant first impression. In addition, the waitresses and front staff were not welcoming and seemed inattentive toward guests. What was especially concerning was observing staff members wiping wine glasses with visibly dirty tissues, which raised serious concerns regarding hygiene and sanitation standards. Despite being seated for approximately 15 minutes, no one approached our table to take an order or even acknowledge us. The lack of basic customer service, combined with the cleanliness issues, made the overall dining experience highly unsatisfactory. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves both the sanitation practices and customer service standards moving forward. We decided to leave shortly after arriving after witnessing staff members cleaning wine glasses with dirty tissues. The overall experience became unacceptable. Based on the cleanliness issues and lack of professionalism, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have encountered. I would give this restaurant 0 stars if that were possible.

Our waiter Artale was very nice, patient and did not rush us. We had as appetizers the Green Apple Fennel Salad, corn scallops and the King Prawns. All were excellent and colorful. For entrees we had the Deconstructed Beef Wellington, Miso Glazed and sesame crusted Halibut, with a side of Truffle Cauliflower Mash Potatoes. For desert we had the Peanut Butter Cup and the Apple Cider Zeppoli. Everything was presented well, tasted great and had the perfect temperature. The AYCE menu includes a variety of items including appetizers (broccoli, calamari, corn, iron steak, crab rangoon, clam chowder, fried rice, garlic noodles, chicken wings, spareribs, general Tso's chicken, spring rolls, edamame, french fries, and more) and main seafood entrees (steamed or hand breaded shrimp, blue crab, dungeness crab, snow crab legs, crawfish, salmon, seabass, mussels, steamed clams, raw oysters and clams, and more). The items I would recommend the most are iron steak, crab rangoon, blue crab, snow crab legs, and crawfish. The seafood is fresh, and if you love seafood, this AYCE meal is a good value for the variety and amount you get. There is no limit to how much you can order at a time; you can order as many rounds as you'd like. Service: Service is excellent here; staff are friendly and very attentive. They come to check on you throughout the meal and clear empty dishes. Food comes out very quickly after you place an order. The staff are also nice about giving you another menu to place another order. They are generous with their portions and food unlike other AYCE places that seem to not want you to order as much. Ambiance: The restaurant is big and spacious; seating is comfortable. There are tables and booths that can accommodate both small and large groups. The restaurant is kept clean, and the decor is very nice. During the warmer months, there's outdoor seating in Mongolian-style tents on the patio that overlooks Surf Avenue and Luna Park. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like seafood!
