As an Asian, it's funny what people call 'authentic'; this is Americanized Chinese at best. I knew this beforehand, but wanted to check it out since it was close. Not a dig at the establishment, they're just trying to make a living. Service was good and food was ready when promised. Ordered hot & sour soup, Hunan roast pork, and General Tso chicken. A lot of food for the money and it hit the spot. I won't lie. I read the reviews and didn't know what to expect. We ordered it via door dash to our hotel... And it was good! We actually had enough for two meals! The only thing is my husband wished the Singapore rice noodles had more spice, but otherwise good. read more

I call up and ask for extra chicken in my Szechuan chicken. I pay an extra two dollars for some overpriced Chinese food. I get it home and the only thing I see is a couple pieces of chicken and an abundance of broccoli. If you're gonna charge somebody an additional three dollars for extra chicken, maybe you actually want to put it in the meal. Absolutely appalling. If I was able to give them less than one star I would have. Never going back to this place absolutely awful. They don't appreciate their long-term customers. read more

It's our go to for Chinese food. We live off island but still go there anytime we get that craving. Food is always fresh, hot and delicious.

Highly recommend the general Tso chicken, which has a nice crispy fried outside and a good amount of spicy kick. It comes with plain fried rice and some steamed broccoli as well. Lo Mein comes loaded with vegetables and the basic option actually includes all proteins (chicken, pork, and shrimp). I can see why that would appeal to people but it was a little bit too much going on for me. I would have liked more noodles personally. Egg roll has a nice crispy and I accidentally ordered a second not realizing my food already came with one (unless it's an order of 2?). Well, it's Ash Wednesday and per tradition, I had my "large shrimp fried rice" this evening. It was great as always! It was our first time here since we just moved to the Island. I wasn't really expecting much because we have had so much amazing authentic Chinese food in NYC. But we were craving late night Chinese food so this was the closest one. The prices weren't bad: $9.20 for a combination platter that includes pork fried rice and egg roll. We had the sesame chicken and orange chicken. The best part of the meal was the egg roll then the fried rice. The chicken wasn't good especially the orange chicken which the sauce was so overpowering and didn't help it came with orange peel. I'll have to try more Chinese places around here before I decide which one is the "best". read more

We want to support local businesses so since this was close by we gave it a try. I tried the Lunch Special General Tso's Chicken with Fried Rice. The General Tso's was some of the best I ever had actually, unfortunately the fried rice wasn't that great. Looked and tasted like yellow rice. Zero flavor. They need to work on that. read more

Lucky Wok is our neighborhood Chinese take out restaurant. It is consistently very good. Certainly it is predictable in its offering. The usual dishes are all available and seasoned very well. If you prefer vegan or low grease food, they have these choices. They also prepare everything very quickly and will deliver. They are courteous and efficient. read more

I have been getting take out from this location since I moved to Winder in 2005. I wish they had delivery, but not the usual pandemic newcomers, where it costs you up to twice as much for the same food. That said, I think it's the best in Winder. I think the quality has slipped a little in the last few years, but I still use them. It's a family owned and staffed business, so I like to support these types of business. Wow!! This restaurant was surprisingly delicious! I was a little worried because trying new Chinese restaurants can be hit or miss but a local told me this place was fabulous and that they made everything fresh from scratch. It did not disappoint at all. They also do delivery. I drove there because the resort food is so overpriced and their prices are very affordable.. They had Tons of lunch specials to chose from for under $7. The shrimp egg roll was delicious! Like seriously I wish I would've ordered 2. I also loved my shrimp with seafood. Great brown sauce. The shrimp egg foo young was cooked to perfection as well with a good, heavy brown gravy to slather over it. The orange chicken had just the right kick of spice and the shrimp lo mein was tasty. Really like this place, pretty good food and always very fast. The portion are reasonable and the flavor is okay. They don't do anything really spicy but that's okay I suppose once you know that. It's one of the few Chinese food restaurants that delivers which is nice. read more

Ever order Chineese food to eat there and ask for hot tea a d get a blank stare....I asked work water with. o response. The lady taking orders was no ore that 12...she and her brother were both working g on tablets...and could not tell there was wifi... I TRIED TO GET GET A SECOND time.. she told. me that my prder came with rice and an egg roll..but not water or tea. eventually her mother came out of the kitchen and got me water. The food was far from great....but nothing around here is great. Guess I prefer real plates and cuttery.. not worth going back... I ordered general koa chicken...it always has small spicy peppers..This had none.. there was an excess of what tasted like a very sweet jam over everything...it tasted like it came from a jar...no spicy taste. This is the dish I taste every Chineese American restaurant by. they did have soup on the menu...wanted to order some ...but they do not have a bowl available...only a plastic pint container. I ordered an egg roll...sure looked like a Spring Rol. it had just come out of a deep fryer...and came in a paper envelope. forget the fried rice...I should have ordered plane. there must be someplace better. read more

Great service, great food. They deliver at later hours than most, and have great customer service. Even when they forgot something from my order, they went back and delivered the missing food, hot and fresh, even after delivery hours. Egg rolls greasy and non descript. Hot but not fresh tasting. Moo goo came with a brown sauce? Brown sauce? Greasy. Veggies were rubbery and not crisp.
