Walked in at 11 on a Sunday. Told it would be a 10 minute wait for 2 people. While waiting, I counted 10 open tables. We waited nearly 15 min to get seated. They seem more interested in accommodating bigger groups. They could have easily seated us as others waiting were all large groups. We all know when you have a smaller group, you often get seated faster. Definitely not the case here. Big menu but nothing special. Fargo needs to up the brunch scene. read more

Great place to hang on a Friday night. Live music at 9:30, ginormous nachos (no lie!), and Fargo Brewing company beer on tap.

First off the decor is great. Tin ceiling, old school tiled floors, dark wood bar, and high back booths that really helped create a cool atmosphere. For sharing a parking lot with serval hotels this bar and restaurant didn't seem like one of 'those' types of places. The menu is diverse and kind of large. But I had the California burrito and for Fargo that burrito was the best quick Mexican food I've had here. My partner had a burger which was large enough for two. I've been here on a few occasions. Up until this last time I had good experiences. This last visit was the worst experience I have had from a restaurant in quite awhile. The waitress was very rude, she kept walking by our table, we had to ask to refill our drinks, we had to ask to order. The food is good, but not worth it when you get treated like trash on the floor. We waited 10 minutes while the waitress gabbed at the front podium, while the other staff worked their butts off, and finally I had my husband go up and flag her down. She then insulted us by being snooty and saying we should of flagged her down. Well obviously we did do that and no we should not have had to do that. I wasn't too impressed with the manager we talked to because she was one of the girls she was gabbing too at the front podium. I am not sure if I will go back now. read more

Lucky's is my favorite pub in Fargo. I have been there many times. They have great martinis (ask for strawberry rhubarb!), and other drinks. Their portions are huge, plenty for next day left overs. Their Monte Cristo is an absolute must try. On a busy night I had an overdone item. They made a new order, took the item off the tab, as well as one of my drinks. This was actually really nice to see... they managed to keep a potentially negative experience a positive one. read more

Great place to go when you are traveling by yourself and want a good meal. Bar seating is plenty so there has always been room. Bartenders are very friendly and welcoming. Reasonable prices and a nice place. The cheese curd burger is amazing as long as you take off the fried ham. The chicken club was huge and very well put together. Most menu items are either a sandwich or burger of some sort. That being said, there isn't a bad one on the menu. All are fantastic. It would've gotten 5 stars if there was just a little bit more on the menu other than the burgers and sandwiches. I have eaten there twice and to me, the food lacks flavor. The first time I had the Dine-o-mite salad and it was barely OK. This past week I tried the Drunk & Dirty burger and it was cooked perfectly, but had no flavor at all. Very, very bland. I don't know if I'd be willing to try going there again. First of all, I am giving this place a 4 because, I absolutely can't stand that people have Applebee's rated higher than anything other than McDonald's. It is more likely a 3.5. Sports Bar and pub atmosphere with nice decor and cool clean restrooms. The cheese curds are a must. There come in quite a large serving and have a fantastic flavor like they are breaded with a little bit of sugar that gives them a unique taste. The service was lackluster, which it why it would be a 3.5. Everyone else in our group of 7 received their food, but apparently my walleye had to be caught first before it could be blackened. The fish was great and so were the onion rings. The bun was pretty underwhelming though. I definitely want to try the place again. read more

My family went out here while visiting and while the beer and service were outstanding the food is much below average. I recommend avoiding the fried foods as the loaded tater tots and french fries were very greasy and left one person not feeling well. My recommendation is stay with the beers and salads for the best experience. It's a great sports bar but not good as a restaurant. read more

I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. The portions are insane... always enough to take some home and have a second meal. And their popcorn is addicting. I don't know how they do it, but it is amazing. Drink prices are kinda steep if you ask me, but I always end up ordering a few. Also probably the best sweet potato fries I've had anywhere! The food was pretty good. I got some chicken sandwich, and a reasonable amount of fries came along with the larger-than-normal sandwich. Solid food and atmosphere. Free tip - split the meal as portions are easily enough for two. However, plan to wait at least 15 minutes. I ordered takeout at the bar, and sat by myself with one stool between me and another customer. At some point, one of the waitresses sat down next to me to talk to the other patron, and then ordered a drink despite her shift not being over, even barking at other staffers to "answer the phone." It seemed unprofessional and somewhat intrusive and inconsiderate of my personal space. Actually between a 3-4 star. Good beer selection, very nice decor, good sandwiches. Hubby had the prime rib french dip sandwich and Fargo Brew and enjoyed it thoroughly. This place is busy for a reason! I love their deep fried pickles and their vegetarian burger. My husband has enjoyed everything he's ordered off their menu. Fantastic choice for kids and families. Popcorn and peanuts for appetizers and great kids meal choices. Rare to find a steak sandwich on a kids menu and my daughter loved it. The waitress was awesome and brought my children their first Shirley Temple drinks which they thought were sooooo cool! The food was outstanding.
