"He had white horses And ladies by the score All dressed in satin And waiting by the door Ooh, what a lucky man, he was" (Emerson, Lake, and Palmer) Lucky's 13 Pub is a large pub with a prominent U-shaped bar and plenty of table and chair and booth seating. The menu has the usual pub fare - wings, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. But on Saturdays and Sundays from 9-1, the menu expands to things like omelets, hash, Benedicts and breakfast sandwiches. So, when our Friday night hotel bartender recommended Lucky's for breakfast, well, we knew where we'd be headed. The breakfast service we encountered on Saturday was extraordinary, so hats off to our server Beth. Our party of ten walked in when breakfast opened, and she quickly set up a few long tables for our group. Oh, and she set out two coloring activities and crayons for the two young guests in our group. Our breakfast started with complimentary bowls of popcorn and we saw some very interesting eye openers on the menu, like a Breakfast Punch (with Rum, orange and pineapple juice, strawberry purée, and ginger ale), a Lucky's Blueberry Pancake Shooter (with Stoli Blueberry vodka, Butterscotch, Orange Bacardi, and a slice of bacon) and a Keoki Coffee (with Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, coffee and whipped cream). We passed on these alcoholic temptations; Beth took our orders flawlessly and the food started rolling out of the kitchen in no time. We started off with a order of Beignets for the table ($9.99) - "Deep-fried beignets made with croissant dough, topped with powdered sugar & a side of strawberry jam. I tried one and it was very good -piping hot, light as a feather, but surprisingly not greasy. My wife ordered a Ham and Cheese Omelet ($13.99 served with her choice of toast and a side of fresh fruit, home fries or cheesy baked hash browns. It was a generous portion and the fruit cup she ordered was fresh and tasty. My Cajun Hash ($15.49 with Andouille disks, shredded chicken, two big shrimp, peppers, onions, cheesy hash, & scrambled eggs) was one of the best breakfasts I've had all year. It was a gigantic portion, and I was more than full with half of it. Beth was automatic with the coffee refills, was very sweet dealing with the two children in our party and gladly gave our couples separate checks. One very cool thing we saw was a "Treasure chest" full of children's toys, coloring books, and activities as freebies for the little darlings that visit. These weren't junky dollar store toys, but some nice stuff. We could not have been happier with our breakfast at Lucky's 13.

Was driving through Fargo and arrived around 9:45 PM but lucky for us Lucky's is open late! Until 12 AM according to the sign. On Friday night there were quite a few people in the bar area but it wasn't too loud. We were seated in a both away from the bar area. We ordered the fried cheese curds and the full sized nachos with birria beef. The curds came out first. They are on the stiffer side compared to other curds I've had but overall tasted great! The nachos were fine, really generous and huge portion. Beef was a tad dry to me but decent. Definitely welcome stop after driving!

I like this place. Although it was not very crowded when I was here, it was loud and I'm certain when it's busy it's deafening. The open floor plan and faux brick walls will do that. But I like that. If you're tired and want to escape from the blah, this will do it. The menu had a good selection, but for a pub, I didn't see the requisite pizza as a choice. However the salads , Mediterranean inspired bowls were a great alternative. Sometimes, not only do we need to escape the blah of a day, but also the blah of the typical burgers and pizza. Lucky 13 to the rescue!

We always stop in Fargo on our trek to see family in North Dakota from Kansas City. We grabbed a bite here at Lucky's and were impressed with both the food and family friendliness of the pub! I don't know why some of the reviews for this place are lackluster. Solid bar food- the tots were especially tasty. As a traveling parent it was awesome to have a place so welcoming for a toddler- complete with a clean stocked changing area (had extra wipes and even a diaper or two!) and a treasure chest with goodies for our 2 year old to pick from. Super thoughtful kids meal with Oreos as a treat. Service was great and we enjoyed watching the Olympics on one of the many TVs. Definitely a place that we will come back to when we visit again!

Been here twice now. Awesome, fun menu and creative drinks. Upscale, clean atmosphere and chill staff. Fair pricing, pull tabs, full bar and intimate seating available. I really wish I caught his name, but a late night server I was lucky to have was extremely attentive and charismatic- service is 11/10

Our recent visit to Fargo, ND had us visiting Lucky's 13 Pub and grill. We weren't terribly hungry but wanted some finger food and adult beverages. Nicely done interior, somewhat open kitchen, and several television sets playing sports. The food was really good, but our server was a bit lackluster. Nice enough guy, he just didn't know how to manage his section as a whole. He was running back and forth for individual items rather than hitting his entire section and bringing everything back at once. All good, we weren't in a big hurry. The popcorn bowl was a nice touch. The dessert skillet was giant and delicious.

We met or son here for breakfast Saturday morning primarily due to its proximity to his work location and all enjoyed our selections (see pictures). For starters, they bring you a bowl of popcorn (which was very good and not overly salty). On the waitress' recommendation, I ordered the Hangover Quesadilla (very good and fresh - see picture). My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict (see picture) and my son ordered the Breakfast Burrito (see picture). All were on the waitress' recommendation list and all tasted great! What a great place to watch the Cowboys destroy the New York Giants. Nice atmosphere with a bar, tables and booths with plenty of televisions. Now on to the food. It was much better than the average pub food I myself got the cheese curd hamburger, which comes with ham, being I'm not a pork eater. I got it without the ham and added sautéed onions. The waitress brought me a special spicy sour cream sauce that was really good, great food good portions! I

Small local chain of causal dining with a sports bar vibe. There are many happy hours and daily specials. Great deal on any burger on the menu on Monday all day except the bison burger. Several mules are also on special on Monday. 5 rotating taps daily. I like the heavily grilled bun adding flavor to the medium rare burger patty. Fries are crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Service is friendly and efficient. Delightful place for a burger and drinks.

Alright. I didn't expect much here and I was blown away... breakfast was fantastic from the jalapeño infused vodka in my Bloody Mary, to the cheesy baked hash browns that came with my meal... I didn't get a photo of the caramel roll, either, but that was soft and fresh and COVERED in caramel. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun (we came for bingo with friends), and I'd come back in a heartbeat. Cheers!

I've been here many times and other locations if theirs in MN and it never disappoints. If you can't find something on this giant menu then you may be too picky of an eater. The menu is almost too big that it overwhelms you but personally I've never found something I didn't like. Just recently came and had a Bloody Mary which comes with a BLT - what isn't to love and the California wrap. That was my first time ordering the wrap and I will definitely be getting it again. I also shared my meal with a friend and they divided it into two plates which is always a perk. We sat and played bingo at the bar and moved to a booth when one became available. Staff is always so friendly, prices are manageable, and food is good. Highly recommend luckys for friends, family, bingo, bar scene, sports, and more.

Went with a huge party and I must give the staff props for getting the food out all at the same time. I got a stout, I don't remember which, but it came in a nice, tall, cold mug. The fried pickles were pretty good. Nice thin slices, with a seasoned batter. I ordered a bacon burger, med well. And I agree with some other reviewers that the patty isn't cooked to your liking. Mine was well, well done, to the point that the patty was was dry and fell apart while I was eating it. I tried the walleye tacos, and those were pretty good and fairly spicy. Their menu is huge, it's hard to decide what to get. I would probably stay away from the burgers, unfortunately. They had other sandwiches on the menu, like a turkey sandwich covered in cheese whiz. But I would get walleye if I were to go again. read more

I have been to Lucky's a half dozen times. Each time has been a good experience. The food is consistently tasty with large portions. Good selection of tap beer and full bar. I lover their Ruben sandwich. It is a gigantic and comes out as a Ruben pyramid. I tried the bacon wrapped meatloaf with mash potato tonight. It was as amazing as it sounds. read more

I love this place!! I've been here multiple times. The first time the service was a little off, but the food was great. The second time the service was great, but they put my burger on wet lettuce and I had to send it back because the bun was soaking wet. Both times, I could forgive as they had just opened that week and were still working out the kinks. The 3rd and 4th time I went here were perfect. The food came out delicious and I had no complaints. The appetizers were great and the entrees were both huge and delicious. The burgers/sandwichs come with an option of kettle fries, steak fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings or cheesy tater tots (all are great options.) I've had the Kobe Burger, Buffalo Shrimp Po Boy, Korean Beef Tacos, Steak Sandwich, Mini Gyros, and Kobe Sliders.... They were all amazing! I can't wait to go back to this place. The only con to this place were the beers were a little pricey. They do serve Newcastle and Blue Moon along with your usual domestics and full bar. They also have a nice wine menu and list of specialty cocktails. The atmosphere is great. They have NFL ticket and a bunch of TVs so you're never missing a game. They also have a great bunch of drinks specials/happy hours. I can't wait to go back. read more

Okay so if you are planning a trip to Fargo, for the sake of God plan something else. Really it's not that bad, just don't expect a booming metropolis. My girlfriend found Lucky's on Yelp and we thought we would give it a try. The food was very good, fast, and worth the trip. She had the pulled pork, I had the walleye. They have a nice selection of beer, and a full bar. The GF said her Gimlet was very good. I liked the popcorn and peanuts prior the meal. While the food was good it's the service I will remember. Our server Karrah (aka Honey Badger) was soooo much fun. Her manager Landa was just as much fun. Hopefully I won't be back in the greater Fargo area, but if I do, I'll stop in again. read more

We stopped in and enjoyed the patio, however, overall I would suggest the prices are high. That being said, the portions are huge and the quality may justify the $ tag. The nachos are insane, piled high and def should be shared. They are pretty expensive with options to have half or quarter (but not half or quarter price). Beer selection is very good, but a large mug is $8 for the local beers. The fried pickles (frickles) were really really salty. Very nice interior, nice vibe. Recommend, but be prepared to pay for it. Leave your fried pickles cravings for Minneapolis or the mid-west. read more

Busy on Friday night but still seated and served promptly with only slight backup on bar service. Server was welcoming, polite, efficient and offered our birthday guest free dessert. Outstanding food and service. Our server Emily, was delightful. I had the Cuban sandwich. The house made pork was delicious. Four of us and we all ordered something different. We were all happy with our meals. Their beer cheese sausage soup is amazing! We liked the fish fry, poutine burger, cheese curd burger and brisket and cheddar sandwich. It is loud in here but the food is amazing and even though it was busy it didn't take that long to get our meal. Great service too. We will be back as there were many more things we want to try. read more

I used to enjoy going to this place until I witnessed the kitchen staff BARE HANDING MY FOOD!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Not ONE cook in that place had gloves on! I dont care if you're going to cook my food after you touch it or not! Put some damn gloves on!! I will never eat at this establishment again. read more

The food was great until I found little strings attached to the food. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and brought it back exactly the same. The cook said it was cheese!! I've never seen cheese look like that!! Neither the cook nor the manager came over to talk to me. I paid over $15.00 for the lunch and am very very disappointed!!! I couldn't even take the left overs home. Not appetizing or professional!!! read more

Best breakfast in town by far. Large portions at great prices. And they have a childrens breakfast menu as well. Very child friendly and capable of accomidating large groups, we had 8 adults and 4 kids and we were seated and served promptly. Never going to Perkins for a family breakfast again. I have also had supper here once and the food was really good. Excellent burgers. read more

After a very long day of cross country driving, this was a pleasant surprise. It was really great to watch some football and drink some delicious beer. Food was much better than I expected. Incredibly expansive menu, and a seemingly endless list of burger options. I got the drunk and dirty burger- it would have been amazing except I suppose the waiter misheard me when I asked for it to be medium rare. I was a little travel-grumpy and very jealous of my dude's very juicy medium rare burger and so my waiter comped the burger. Completely unnecessary as I was being a bit of a baby , but I'm pretty impressed by their service and commitment to quality. Would return if I happen to be in Fargo ever again. read more

MISLEADING MENU menus may seem to offer a choice for no addition charge, but upon receiving the check we found anything that is "choice" is additional even if it doesn't say. The waitress also skimmed money off the top of our checks in order to increase the probability of receiving a tip. RESPECT THE HUSTLE. read more

Nice bar menu and a loud and fun environment. We came here on a Wednesday night and we're surprised by a huge game of bingo! It was a lot of fun. I ordered a California burger and it was tasty. A little greasy, but good grease!! The sweet potato fries were tasty and I asked for honey mustard which was yummy too. Overall this is a great place to get good food and have some fun. read more

Nice solid lunch. I enjoyed the Cuban. The menu was huge and everyone in our 8 person group found something good. The beer list was good, but not as creative as other places in town. Prices seemed normal for a nice gastropub. I knocked it down one star only because it felt like a chain restaurant. Maybe it is? I come from a place where I eat at local restaurants. Despite that, it was good food and did the trick on a hungry afternoon. read more

Walked in at 11 on a Sunday. Told it would be a 10 minute wait for 2 people. While waiting, I counted 10 open tables. We waited nearly 15 min to get seated. They seem more interested in accommodating bigger groups. They could have easily seated us as others waiting were all large groups. We all know when you have a smaller group, you often get seated faster. Definitely not the case here. Big menu but nothing special. Fargo needs to up the brunch scene. read more

First off the decor is great. Tin ceiling, old school tiled floors, dark wood bar, and high back booths that really helped create a cool atmosphere. For sharing a parking lot with serval hotels this bar and restaurant didn't seem like one of 'those' types of places. The menu is diverse and kind of large. But I had the California burrito and for Fargo that burrito was the best quick Mexican food I've had here. My partner had a burger which was large enough for two. Great tap selection, full bar, and live music most nights makes Lucky 13 a great date night! read more

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express just across the parking lot. The Express location gives you free breakfast, where this Holiday Inn doesn't. I decided to just walk on over for lunch, but I'll tell you what, I really wish I drove over across the parking lot, cause that is one hell of a big parking lot distance from the Express to the front doors of this hotel! I recommend driving if you're staying at the Express and want to eat here. Lunch is offered as regular entree's or a lunch buffet. I looked at the buffet and decided to just go with a Bacon Cheeseburger and fries for $14. That was one tasty burger! You get a 1/2 pound patty cooked as you like along with a generous helping of fries. What's nice is I can charge my food here to my IHG Holiday Inn credit card and get my 10X points to my rewards club. Service was good and friendly, no prob there. I would have a problem eating any meal here by the looks of things. If you are staying here at the Holiday Inn, this is a good choice for food with out having to leave the hotel.

Eat here three times weekly and you'll be healthy.... Their oysters are great. Check 'em out. You won't regret it. They have a variety of fried fish, fried shrimp, fish tacos... it's all great. The only limitation is that fish and chips is 5/10 as a food, but this is great fish and chips. Service has always been good... it's just a cool place.

This is not one of mine, but it feels that way. About 3-4 years ago my girlfriend stops in after dropping off the son for Football. She decided to visit this safe looking bar. While sitting at bar relaxing after long day with son having a drink two young men sit on each side of her: mind you to distract when needed. The talk exchanged FB info along with phone numbers. Seem to be going well, the bartender know them and was part of nights events. It took my girlfriend over 3 years to tell me that ( Landon Holt ) and one of his friends handcuff and rapped my girlfriend. So woke up handcuffed to his bed. She had to scream for help before They let her go all the while laughing at her as she got dressesd and ran out. Tried to reach out to manangement but all tight lipped. Is that a sign that kind of behavior is ok in Lucky 13 pub? No woman is safe in Lucky 13 pub when the likes of Landon Holt roaming freely like a predator. Stay away!!! read more

The atmosphere is wonderful in Lucky's. The ceiling fans are quirky since they're run on belt system, which adds to the quirkyness. The food and service are always wonderful, unfortunately I live on the other side of town, so I don't get to this restaurant very often anymore. They also have a very good selection of beers and drinks, plus the late night crowd is always a ton of fun. read more

Was seated and waited 20 minutes and still no one came to take as little as a drink order or to say "we will be right with you". There were waiters and waitresses waiting on tables next to us and nothing. There were even managers asking tables next to us, "how was everything?" Never going back. read more
