I brought the vehicle back, and they handed me a long list of supposed problems, which I agreed to have fixed. However, less than 300 miles later, the engine seized. I had the vehicle towed back to the dealership late Friday afternoon, and after nearly a week of silence, I was told it was all an "unfortunate coincidence" and not their responsibility. Their solution? A new engine replacement for around $10,000. I asked for an explanation and was told they had cut open the oil filter and found it full of metal shavings. They offered to investigate further--but only at my expense. Frustrated, I turned to Jim's Tire and Auto on the recommendation of two trusted friends. That's when everything changed. Bret and Allen treated the situation with professionalism and integrity. They approached my Explorer as if they had been the ones to work on it from the start. They meticulously reviewed every detail--receipts, parts lists, error codes, on-board diagnostics, and the engine itself. Through their forensic approach, they uncovered the actual cause of the failure, which contradicted the dealership's claims. They not only explained their findings clearly, but also supported me in addressing the issue with the dealership. They even opened up their shop to allow the dealership's inspectors to review the vehicle firsthand. Bret and Allen exemplify what honest, expert automotive care should look like. From now on, I won't trust my vehicles to anyone else, and I'll be recommending Jim's Tire and Auto to everyone I know.

Great service!! My…read moresituation: I had an audible leak in one of my tires on a Sunday afternoon in February. Do you know how many tire shops are open on Sundays? Very few. Of those, you know how many have the availability to take a walk-in? Even less! Express was not only open but told me to come right in. So, I did. I got in immediately as they were not busy at the time. The gentleman that took care of me, I believe his name.may have been Jason, could not have been more polite and accommodating. He jacked up my car, took a look, and found the culprit. A small nail. He said he could take care of it and that it would cost $20. I said "go," and he had me taken care of in less than 10 minutes. Also, he let me know that my back brake pads were looking a little low and didn't hassle me to have them replaced. Would I go back? Without question. This was truly a case of "cannot judge a book by its cover." Express is very nondescript. Maybe the building could use a little love. But that's not what I'm there for. They were open on a Sunday. They are affordable. And my tech could not have been more friendly and polite. Outstanding service. They might not be one of the big name tire shops, but guess what? They weren't around when I needed them! I received 5 Star service all-around. I have no complaints. I only went with 4 stars because I didn't actually buy any tires, and I can't really speak on that. Thinking about it though, some of those online tire places have the best prices when it comes to purchasing tires. But, when you buy them, you have a hard time finding a place to actually put them on. I can't say this for sure, but I will definitely call Express if I'm in that situation in the future.
