I was in a bind with a flat tire 38 miles from home, on a Sunday. This awesome shop is open seven days! A friend at church fortunately had one of those portable inflation doodads, and filled the tire so I was able to head straight to Goodyear. Adam, the service manager, greeted me very cheerfully and I explained my situation, including that I couldn't just leave the car and come back due to the distance. He put me very much at ease (as you can imagine I was pretty frazzled), got my info right away and summoned a technician to take my car to the work area. I was able to relax in air conditioned comfort and even got a free cup of coffee while waiting. Before long, it was announced that the culprit was a leaking valve, which they promptly fixed. It was $25. They also checked/filled the other tires. A couple of people came in to pick up their cars while I was waiting and several phone calls came in. I noticed the high level of customer care that Adam showed to everyone he was dealing with, including me. I have a feeling this is a very high quality operation for purchase of tires as well and they also do other types of auto work. Recommended. read more

I was disappointed with my recent experience at this Goodyear location. I brought my vehicle in because of a nail in my tire. Before removing the nail, the technician did not come to me to explain what they found or ask for my approval. I would have appreciated being shown the nail and having the repair options explained before any work was done. After the service, I asked where the nail was because I wanted proof of what had been removed from my tire. I was told they didn't have it and there was nothing they could show me. That left me feeling frustrated because I had no way to verify what had been found or removed. I also felt like the focus quickly shifted to recommending that I replace all four tires. While I understand that AWD vehicles sometimes require replacing multiple tires depending on tread depth differences, I felt pressured instead of being given a clear explanation with measurements and options. I would have appreciated seeing the tread depth readings and understanding why they believed all four tires needed replacement. As a Deaf customer, I expect to be treated with the same honesty, respect, and clear communication as any other customer. Please don't talk down to Deaf customers or try to smooth things over instead of providing straightforward information. Clear explanations, transparency, and respect go a long way. I also believe one of the employees would benefit from additional training in customer service, communication, and disability awareness. Because of this experience, I decided to take my business to a local family-owned tire shop instead. They explained everything clearly, showed me what they found, answered my questions, and did an excellent job. I ordered new Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac RT tires to replace the ones I didn't like on my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD At4 Duramax. So I made an appointment with the Goodyear Auto Center located in West Chester, Ohio for Saturday 6/22/2024. My wife and I showed up a half hour before the appointment and were attended to promptly. So my wife and I stayed in the area and walked around for the next two hours while I was getting the new tires mounted and balanced and once that was done an alignment. While I was out having lunch I got a call from Mike the store manager informing that their tire balance machine broke down and that my new tires would not be able to be balanced that day. I asked him when it would be fixed and he said probably not until Monday. So when I got back to the shop a few minutes after the call I walked by the bay that my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD AT4 Duramax truck was in and saw that it was lifted off the ground with two floor jacks. I promptly told the manager Mike that approached me that that was not the proper way to lift a $90,000 truck and could possibly damage it. Also as I was standing there the truck was unstable and was teetering side to side with loosely placed jackstands underneath. I told Mike if my truck gets damaged they would be responsible, Mike assured me that if I were to find any damage they would be responsible and repair the damage. Who wants to see their $90,000 truck get damaged because the technician decided to not put my truck on a lift and lift it from the proper points on the frame as the manufacturer recommends. So fast forward to today Sunday 6/23/2024 and when I went out to look under my truck I found that the floor jack has damaged the skid plate that protects the transfer case. Now back to Saturday 6/22, after the tires were installed and moved to the alignment rack, after about an half an hour Mike that store manager informed me that the could not align my truck because that had not updated their alignment machine with the 2024 specs for my truck. Why would they not know that before I showed up with my truck expecting to get an alignment after getting almost $2000 worth the tires installed on my truck. So know I have unbalanced wheels and tires without a proper alignment on my truck. So they pull my truck off the alignment rack and pull it around and while I am waiting for the paperwork to be done I decided to go out and look at my truck and the tires that they installed because I was feeling a bit uneasy of what I have experienced up until then. So when looking at each wheel that the new tires were installed on I found scratches and gouges in each wheel from the removal of the old tires and the mounting of the new tires. I immediately brought it to the attention of the guy behind the counter doing my paperwork and he came out and looked at each wheel and acknowledged that the damage was caused by the tire mounting machine, he took pictures and he said he would let the store manager Mike know and he would come and look also. So Mike the store manager came and looked at each wheel and said that this happens with the way the metal bar is used to break the bead on the old tires and happens sometimes. So Mike the store manager documented the damage on my invoice and gave me the name of a local business who fixes damaged wheels and that I can take my truck there to have my wheels repaired and that Goodyear would cover up to $750 and that Mike would re-imburse me on my credit card that I would have to use to pay for the repairs. Mike then informed me that if the repairs were to exceed $750 he would need to get cooperate approval. This is bad business telling your customer that he now has to go and get his wheels fixed on his $90,000 truck and has to use his own credit card and his time to get something fixed that was caused by one of the careless technicians. I also asked at the beginning of the appointment if protection was used over the leather seats in my truck and I was told by Mike the store manager that the absolutely use protection on every vehicle, I noticed when my truck was pulled around to the front of the waiting area that the technician got out of my truck and there was no protection used on my new leather seats. When I got home I had to clean all of the dirty finger and hand prints from the interior and exterior of my truck. This is unacceptable and I expect better from a Goodyear corporate store for my time and to not have damaged the wheels and skid plate on my truck. I would think twice before using this Shop to work on your vehicle. read more

I had a tire rupture on the sidewall and dropped my car off late at night. The next morning, I gave them a call and explained the situation. I knew that I only needed one tire, and that's what they recommended. They didn't try to sell me on a more expensive tire or getting all tires replaced, they quoted me for the tire I had and were happy to replace it. They finished changing my oil and replacing the tire two hours after I had first called and when I came to pick it up later that day, I wasn't hit with any hidden fees or charges. The prices were fair and the employees were very nice. I will be coming back when I need all of my tires replaced and for any basic maintenance. I've been to many other shops, and these guys are the best. read more

Terrible experience. I make a reservation online for 11AM for a simple tire replacement. I get a confirmation email with my 11AM appt time. I walk in at 10:45, they say they see my appt for 1:00? I show them the email and they go on to say the reservation system does not see their walk in business and it will be at least till 12:30 till then can bring the car in. Sorry, they may be a good repair shop but customer service like that (not my issue they have an online reservation system issue) and I walk out and go elsewhere. If they knew they had an issue with a system they should be calling the online reservation people to confirm. read more

The most professional and outstanding auto repair facility I've been to in the area, including dealers. After I discovered a punctured tire, I went to a few area tire places before I realized that Kelly tires were owned by Goodyear. Many places were not able to get me the exact tire I needed and were not able to get me in quickly citing the lack of enough employees. Goodyear in Beckett Ridge were able to get a new tire to match the other 3 the next day. This was even quicker than I could find online. They were also able to schedule me for that day at 5. I dropped off the wheel early expecting to pick it up around 6 but they happened to be able to get in done in about 10 minutes. All of this might just be luck and timing, but I was really blown away when the manager carried the repaired wheel/tire to my car for me. Well done, I won't even think about going anywhere else in the future! read more

Tried to convince me (I assume because I am a woman) that there was only one part available in the WORLD for my Pacifica. The world. I googled the part and found 17 in my area alone. They were attempting to charge me $600 more for labor than any surrounding shop. They believed I was gullible enough to fall for their typical hook. I got a good laugh though and drove my car down the street to a more respectable establishment. read more
