When I got back he told me (and showed me) that there were two nails in the tread and they were too close together to repair. I would need a new tire. But the model I needed was only available through the Porsche dealership where I bought the car. I would have to back there to replace it. I asked if we were even with the $49 and he said that since they made no repairs or sales there would no charge. So, Jarrod made no sale, but he certainly made a future customer. Adam, the service manager, greeted me very cheerfully and I explained my situation, including that I couldn't just leave the car and come back due to the distance. He put me very much at ease (as you can imagine I was pretty frazzled), got my info right away and summoned a technician to take my car to the work area. I was able to relax in air conditioned comfort and even got a free cup of coffee while waiting. Before long, it was announced that the culprit was a leaking valve, which they promptly fixed. It was $25. They also checked/filled the other tires. A couple of people came in to pick up their cars while I was waiting and several phone calls came in. I noticed the high level of customer care that Adam showed to everyone he was dealing with, including me. I have a feeling this is a very high quality operation for purchase of tires as well and they also do other types of auto work. Recommended.

So they basically sell you something that doesn't happen without a lot of hassle. It doesn't take long to rotate tires, but it doesn't generate income so they just blow you off and put you out hoping you will not take them up on it. I wish I would've been told when dropping my car off that they were running behind. Had I known that my 11 AM appointment was not going to be honored I would've not done it. Ended up going back to the counter and asking for my key back. The place was chaotic! The management and employees couldn't handle the volume of business. I was told twice my car was next. In fact that was not even true. I think they were just telling me that to try to appease me. Through that experience, I will never buy anything from tire discounters again. I spent $1200 buying tires which I could have went to Costco to get my tires. It was more to get them from tire discounters but I wanted the all wheel alignment. So I'm happy I've found Christian brothers. They have been very transparent, have great service and fair pricing. The staff is constantly pleasant and responsive. We've taken several cars there and each time have received good service. Today was an oil change. I appreciate the free inspection to know what needs to be considered for future work. They also give photos of the items in question. The waiting area is always clean and comfortable. When I picked up the car there was a handwritten note thanking me for the business. In this day - any thank you note is an above and beyond gesture, but to have it hand written was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely continue to do business with them.
