No idea why it took an hour before they finally moved us to another gate so we could get off. I missed my connecting flight and had to book another one 2 1/2 hours later. I paid to board priority and with my new flight was stripped of priority boarding and my ticket showed boarding group 8!!! The other passenger that missed the connecting flight due to American airlines mechanical issues got priority, but not me for some reason. I was told to speak to the gate agent when boarding and told they could get me priority boarding. I waited in line for more than 15 minutes while the agent ignored me forcing me to engage her because she wasn't going to help otherwise. I told her about American Airlines mechanical issues leading to my missing the connecting flight and how I had priority and was told to speak to the gate agent to get it for the new flight. The agent asked my seat number after I explained that (Seat 11A), then she rudely told me she didn't k ow why they told me to speak to an agent and there was nothing she could do for me. I decided to post the picture of her with this review because how miserable are you to ignore someone and then have an attitude when they kindly explain the issue your company caused. If I can avoid traveling with AA I will, this has been an awful experienced made more horrible by the poor customer service.

You need to have a Passport and using the AA app you can upload your info and it will show up on your boarding pass in the app. There is no extra cost. You need only to have the Boarding pass uploaded to your phone. You DO NOT need to have your Drivers License. Simply look into a camera and the system does a facial scan with is cross referenced with your Passport photo. We also stopped into the AA Admiral Club and got fresh coffee & a bagel which is just what I needed to start the day. Not ALL airports offer this service CLT is now the SIXTH that is the 6th BUSIEST airport in the WORLD. For all you complainers, take that in consideration when you consider flying into/out of CLT. You WILL have to wait in line for your food. You WILL have to wait in line when you check in unless you have TSA Pre or TSA Touchless. These are services you can PURCHASE to make your experience smoother.

But what begs an update is the change in Uber pick-ups which makes literally no sense to anyone that lands here. Don't go outside of baggage like I did (this is where passenger pick-up is, so if your friend or family is picking you up, still go out here). This is of course the way it is in most civilized airports. No, it's on the UPPER level. Where arrivals are. By the time I figured this out, my uber driver was frantic because the airport traffic people were threatening all kinds of action on her. As we were messaging each other I was trying to get to the upper level but all the damn escalators were being fixed, so I had to wait for an elevator. All of this could have been avoided if there were clear signs indicating that ride share pick-ups are upstairs. Clearly this kind of mistake is common. Get it together CLT.

She's a teacher - she cannot up and move her SCHEDULED flight. It was sent through her email about the change. No confirmation, no call, just email. When she's preparing for her flight, she sees the change only to be told that she was a no-show and would not be refunded any money. This is how Spirit stays afloat. She finally speaks to a human after spending an hour going through their AI guest relations. She gets another flight that is going out on Monday but returning on Saturday. (Original flight had her returning on Friday). No extra charge. Same price but one less day at her destination. But it gets better. On her return, her flight is delayed and check-in would not begin until 2:15 pm. When she gets to the airport, Spirit Airline has closed. Apparently, they close down check-in at 12:30 pm on Saturdays. Also, not relayed to my daughter. She looses her flight and her money. She then scrambles to book another flight on another airline. Do NOT use this airline. Let it go bankrupt!!!

Arrived to the airport on a rainy day and we were very lucky that there was no line and were able to walk right up to the counter and get our boarding passes printed. Dropped off our luggage and we were within weight for all of them. You need to have those packing skills and make sure you're not overweight so you don't get charged. I needed wheelchair assistance because of a knee injury and the lady helping was so friendly and sweet. She even made a pit stop at the store so we couldn't get some water. She made sure we had all of our personal items from the security check and she was on it , she got us to our gate and we said our goodbyes.

Unlike so other airlines we was impressed that the staff allowed use to board with the military, because we could show a valid retired military ID card. The boarding process was very easy and not delayed. The flight attendants were very friendly upon boarding, and handed out sanitation wipes to every passenger. They were as very attentive and provided us with a snack/beverage. The flight captain was also very professional and gave the passengers In-flight updates. Most importantly, we arrived safely 30 minutes early in Newark which was very awesome. This professional service is why this airline is our main carrier!!!

Delta's 717-200's are aging, and it's about time for the last semi - McDonnell Douglas variant to retire. These 717's were going to be MD-95's, before being bought out by Boeing. There are only 2 airlines in the world that operate 717's, these are Delta and Hawaiian. Anyways flight attendants were great, pilots were on the younger side but that's what you expect on these puddle jumper jets. What a great experience from Delta!

We went to Italy and April planned everything we wanted to do for us and even put it all together in a binder with our itinerary including hotel and transportation vouchers - all within the budget we gave her (somehow). She included instructions and helpful tips for every part of our journey and picked the best days to do each activity. We had some trouble on the return home when our connecting flight was cancelled due to an airline strike. We went to the airline's customer service desk as we were already at the gate when the cancellation happened. There were at least 30 people in front of us and, in a few short minutes, dozens more behind us and we were going nowhere. We decided to call April and ask if she could help. I'm so happy we did. We were able to get out of that line and go grab a bite to eat while April solved all of our problems, arranging a new flight and a hotel. As if that wasn't enough, April constantly followed up with us to make sure we were getting everything we needed and that we returned home safely. Then she helped us get reimbursed for all of the additional expenses due to the flight cancellation. I could tell you about all of the small things April did like inform our hotels we were honeymooning so they comped us champagne or update us with changes to tour schedules so we didn't miss anything, but it is the constant attention she placed on our needs during our trip to make sure that everything was perfect that really made the difference. Both vacations we booked through April were perfect and I couldn't imaging trying to do it without her. Thank you, April, for making sure our honeymoon was special.

However, the flight back was a completely different story. About 20 minutes before landing, the flight became extremely uncomfortable, and I ended up getting sick and throwing up. It was the worst flying experience I've had. I'm not sure what caused it, but the flight was rough enough that it left me feeling miserable by the time we landed. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to fly this route again.

The bot told me that I was sent an email regarding my flight cancellation and that I needed to proceed using the included link. It would resend the email if needed, but no assistance was available beyond that. My issue was paying for round trip seating at my initial reservation and paying for round trip seating upon rescheduling my return flight. I sent an email and am awaiting resolution. The seats (see photo) are not well cushioned and your tush will likely remind you of sitting on the plane. However, if your flight is less than three hours, you might be okay. Note the tray table is big enough for your phone only (see photo). On top of that, the seats do not recline. Reservations indicatemore leg room is available in some seats but I didn't bite. The seats behind the Exit rows are about the same as any other seat on the plane. Remember, there are NO freebies. Your carry-on has size limitations and you will pay for a second carry on, checked bags, and food/drinks on the plane. The restrooms are free. I must give Frontier credit for canceling the return flight through Orlando during Hurricane Ian a day in advance vs. flying me in and me being stuck there for days. However, they failed to notify me that my gate had changed. Fortunately, I checked about an hour out and had plenty of time to get to the new gate.
