Haven't been in years so we decided to stop by for lunch. They have great lunch specials during the week before 3 PM. Went with a personal pan pizza and it came w a salad. Garden or chef but you can upgrade to Greek salad for a small cost. I loved the Margherita pizza. It was so flavorful and I liked how the tomatoes were diced up rather than a tomato placed her and there. It allowed for each bite to have tomato. We also had the chicken parm w pasta and salad. The first thing they do when you get there is give you a giant basket of dinner rolls with olive oil, we had 2 and took the rest home! After dining on seafood on the coast during our vacation, I wanted a pizza. We were cheerfully greeted by the host, who promptly seated us in a booth near the expansive windows. Tiffany, our server was a doll. She cheerfully assisted us with our order. We ordered two house salads, and an oven roasted pizza with sweet Italian sausage, roasted red peppers and caramelized yellow onions. The salads were very generous with a wide variety of goodies. The pizza was New York style, served right out of the brick oven. Tiffany came by the table several times to check on us. The restaurant must be pretty popular with the locals as it was hopping late Saturday afternoon (5:00). We enjoyed it very much. Try it! read more

I stopped at Lui Lui a few weeks ago as I was craving some of their bruschetta & pizza. I did take out as I did not have enough time to dine in. When I opened my bag of food I was shocked by what I saw! My "bruschetta" was just 5 pieces of overcooked tiny melba toast size pieces of something, not the usual nice thick ciabatta bread. It was inedible! My side salad had zero dressing with it and one tiny little piece of cucumber. The pizza was ok. After leaving a review directly with the restaurant I was contacted by someone about a resolution but nothing has come of that. Lui Lui was one of my favorite places to go. Has always been my birthday go to, but I think I may be done with them now if this is what they think is an appropriate change to their menu. read more

My wife grew up going here and has been looking for an excuse to come back for years and we finally did last week. Despite it being noon on a Monday we had about a 30 minute wait where we walked around the mall next door. Fresh bread and oil while we waited for food was excellent. Kids liked looking in on the fire in the pizza oven. Everything we had was very good and I could come back many times and not order the same thing. Only complaint I had was that the Baked Gratinate contains mushrooms which were not listed in the description. They were on the small side and blended into the sauce so not easy to see and a pain to pick out. I get not listing every ingredient in a dish, but in my opinion mushrooms should have been there. read more

I experienced my first dining experience here in Lebanon back in 1991 and I have come back with friends, colleagues and family more than 200 times over the years. We ate here this evening. I got the 4 cheese lasagna with added meat sauce. It was so good. My husband got the veal Parmesan with spaghetti and salad. I had a glass of Moscato and my husband got the expresso martini. Everything was great. Service was great and well paced. We come to this place every time we visit Vermont. Delicious food! Great friendly service! The service definitely beats out some of the food places in Las Vegas, where we live. They close at 8pm and we walked in around 7:15. They sat us quickly. Went to lunch at Lui Lui in West Lebanon yesterday, after going to the hospital. We were excited to try this place because of all the good reviews. When we walked in, we were immediately impressed with the décor, and the big fireplace for cooking. We were seated and promptly waited on by Mady. She took good care of us. We saw a delicious looking pizza at the next table, with thick, puffy crust all around the edges, so things looked promising. I ordered a veal parm sandwich and my wife got a small pizza with several toppings. From my seat, I could see the fireplace and cooking station. After a while, I saw my sandwich set on the upper counter, ready to be served. It sat and sat and sat! Finally, I saw it joined by a small pizza. At this point Mady came to our table and explained that the cook forgot to put toppings on my wife's pizza! She said they were making a new one, and asked it I'd like mysandwich first. I said, "well, at this point, it's been sitting there for 5 minutes, so you better bring it over! It had cooled off significantly, but tasted ok. When they finally brought the pizza, it had no thick crust around the outside as we expected. It was very bland, and tasted like a frozen pizza from the grocery store! Was not happy either our pizza. The crust was thin and over cooked. I even tried to cut it with a fork and knife but didn't want to cut. Finally just pulled off the cheese and ate it. I ate here with my sister, we came in on a Saturday for lunch and we're seated within 10 minutes. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was amazing. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. I'm giving 4 to err on the side of their favor based on service, my party's overall experience, flavor, and GF labeling. Has a late lunch with traveling colleagues after we met with our customer. The waitress was wonderful! They were very satisfied with their meals and the portion size. One had chicken parm and I forget what the other had but he had the chicken soup with it. It's really nice to see an investment in the menu to highlight gluten free options. I had the gluten free pizza margherita pizza. I did ask for a little red sauce on it. This was my second time eating the pizza, the first time it tasted good but was really soggy so I thought I'd simplify this time. It was still really soggy. I thought if I brought it home, I would be able to crisp it in the oven more but it wasn't good reheated. So 3.5 stars from me on my meal itself. Been there a couple of times and, while the food and service are OK, I have never felt really welcome. The first time, I tried to grab a seat at the bar (as I usually do when alone) and the hostess practically tackled me as I walked by the stand. The bar, it turned out, was NOT open seating. OK, I waited and eventually was seated. Glass of wine and an app, which were both OK but aside from taking my order and bringing the food, zero interaction. I realize making drinks and taking care of other responsibilities are important, but so is making your guests feel like you're glad they're there. Second time, there was nothing available at the bar so I was seated at a small deuce (two seater) in the dining room. I didn't like the feeling of isolation, so I chose not to stay. Third time, I scored a seat at the bar (again) and ordered wine and an app from the main menu after being told, "There's no 'happy hour' here. That's at our other location." The only other location I could find on their website is Nashua, which is 90 minutes away. No, thanks. Again, the bartender merely took and filled my order. Virtually no interaction nor anything that would make me feel like a valued guest or would encourage a return visit. If I was with a group, it probably wouldn't have mattered; we'd be talking among ourselves. But I wasn't. I was looking for a bite to eat along with a bit of conversation. Not to be had here, so be advised. If hospitality doesn't matter to you, the food probably won't disappoint. But I wanted more, and it didn't happen. So future meals will be eaten elsewhere. read more

I was passing through on a work trip and always down for Italian food. They offered a taste of Italy, which was a combination of meatballs, chicken Parm and lasagna, generous portions I might add. I have not been to this restaurant in a while but I have dined there many times. My go-to is the Greek salad with grilled chicken on top. I'm thinking they must have changed ownership. The Greek salad looks like something I would get from McDonald's. It didn't have much feta cheese. They swapped out the Greek olives for cheap black olives, and the toppings were scarce. Was in the area on vacation and was limited in Dinner options so we headed here (have never been to this area and truly didnt know what we were getting into) Was assuming this experience was going to be torture (I have a picky eater child) Ordered the Mussels, got an app platter, Kids foods, Pizza, Salad and Shrimp Scampi. The 4 of us truly ordered enough for a small village. I have been on a huge Mussels kick and these were DELISH, The gorgonzola and bacon in the menu description had me hesitant but I went for it, And OMG IT WORKS!!! The only downside was the size of them but I know thats not the restaurants fault - its whatever the distributor delivers, but the flavor of them was GOOD... The fried app platter was literally attacked by the kids, My little one eats EVERYTHING, my older one ONLY eats Chicken Strips, and I was fearful he wouldnt like them, and he LOVED THEM - said they were the best he ever had, Even ordered another order of them. Salad Was GREAT, Shrimp pasta was delish, Pizza was good! Our waitress was the bartender and she was great, the drinks were great, The service was great. We finally tried out Lui Lui today and we were so disappointed. It was absolutely disgusting. Restaurant was busy but not full and there was a wait, fine. We walked the store right next to it to waste some time before we were texted the table was ready. When we got there, the table was already given away to another family. First issue, kids were hungry and they scrambled to give us another spot with a waitress that was already too busy. We were seated and our drink order was taken and then we had to wait another 15 minutes for her to come back for our food order. We ordered chicken fingers x2, one with "fresh fruit", 2 buttered pastas, and 2 of the Lui Lui. The food took at least an hour to come out and it was absolutely disgusting. Buttered pasta was pasty and had no butter. Chicken fingers came out with room temperature, CANNED PEARS dumped on the plate with the chicken fingers. The Lui Lui was the worst part, and it's the dish named after the restaurant! Bland, dry, pasta. Burnt broccoli and the 3 tiny pieces of cubed chicken were breaded? And the consistency of rubber. Such a huge disappointment and we'll never go back. read more

Oh my goodness. Tripped over this place and SO GLAD I stopped. Everything served has looked delicious. The king woman at LL Bean suggested the baked Mac and cheese. "Delicious, and a large portion.".
