Mac & cheese with ritz pizza is our go to. Favorite in the whole area. Sometimes they can be a bit confusing when ordering and they mess up the order here and there. However, they ALWAYS make good on it. The deserts are also a hidden gem, ultimate chocolate pie is one we just discovered. Highly recommend for any pizza in west leb/leb/hanover. Just wanted to update my review of Ziggy's Pizza. We have been to all the locations for takeout and they are all great! So many pizza options that you can't go wrong, but I particularly enjoy their cauliflower crust pizza. The staff is helpful, even when busy, and they keep things moving. All the restaurants look clean, and the Enfield location gets top points for having a cozy atmosphere, with the West Lebanon a very close second - it's much larger and in a busiest area, so it bustles more. Just went to Ziggy's and they told me I could not get a refund on these nachos even though they have no beef on them which is what I asked for they also are burnt basically told me I had to go in and pay for brand new nachos for another $19 . Came here for dinner on a weeknight with some friends and it was a long wait, but the waitresses were friendly. We split a 12 inch pizza that we customized, including half pepperoni, half sausage, green peppers, and mushrooms. We had also had a merry mushroom salad (the smaller size) and an order of 6 chicken wings that are garlic Parmesan. We had leftovers that kept well and we enjoyed the meal overall. Somehow the priority seemed to be lovingly, organizing lime wedges, and orange slices while actual customer sat wondering if they had accidentally become invisible. I told him my second visit was somehow managing to underperform even my low expectations from the first , ever the optimist he brushed it off. order me a diet whatever and pick a pizza he said before heading to the men's room to wash up 10 minutes later after he returned only to discover we were still sitting there untouched, unserved, and apparently participating in some sort of social experiment on customer neglect at that point, he tossed a $20 bill on the bar. You're welcome by the way for the unearned $20. I'm sure that covered more than just my few sips. We left immediately. was their surprise on their faces. Hard to tell that would've required them to actually notice customers. Maybe the food would have been great, we won't ever know. The locals may love it, but if you are traveler, looking for hospitality, service, or even basic acknowledgment that you've entered the building you may want to keep driving. There is so much to love about Ziggy's! They have an expansive selection of pizza types, and you can make your own. I love The Great White Pizza with ricotta, Romano, feta and garlic oil. The Crab Rangoon pizza also rocks. This pizza has cream cheese, imitation crab (which you can sub out another meat for), wonton crisps, scallions and house made duck sauce. I was told by a waitress to definitely try their deep dish Chicago-style pan pizza because if you like it thick, it's perfect. They have cheeseburger chowder here which I have not tried, but is a fan favorite. They have 11 types of salads here: black and bleu, Mediterranean, fried chicken, mushroom, barbecue, etc. I haven't tasted their calzones yet but they look delicious. They have hot dogs prepared 6 different ways, from Philly to Cuban to barbecue. Do try their various cheesecake flavors! Cotton candy cheesecake rocks. And so does the carrot cake. Was looking for a place in the area that wasn't a corporation-owned chain restaurant and came across Ziggy's. It's right off the highway and easy to get to, a large place that's got plenty of seating on one side and an ample-sized bar on the other side. I pass through the area frequently and have enjoyed the few times I've been here. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, plus the food is great. So far I've gotten the pizza and sandwiches with fries and onion rings. Everything was priced right and tasted great. I usually get a shaved chicken bomb from Market Basket but this one is so much tastier. I got food to go one time, but while waiting had a couple slices. The Big Mac slice was a nice treat, very tasty. Just like a Big Mac, which I enjoyed despite not being a fan of McDonald's food for the last 20 years. We sooo wanted to love Ziggy's so gave it a second try. Rumor had it Ziggy's has the best pizza in the Upper Valley. We can confirm the thin crust cheese is still delicious. What wasn't delicious was the cheese steak. It included all the right ingredients but was far less than average because of the quality of those ingredients. The roll was the least offensive ingredient because it had so little flavor. The limp canned mushrooms tasted like metal. The desultory onions and peppers added little. The American cheese, what there was of it, struck the right note but the meat was dry, dried out, chewy, and tasted strange. That is not a new culinary term but we cannot think of a better one. The highly touted hand cut fries were lukewarm and limp. Disappointment upon disappointment made for an unpleasant experience. There is a Jersey Mike's that just opened at the end of the strip mall. The line was so long we decided to try Ziggy's. Next time, we will patiently wait in line. Jersey Mike's cheesesteaks are better than most; certainly better than Ziggy's. Come to Ziggy's for thin crust pizza. Skip the rest. P.S. I didn't realize I had a previous unpublished review. Had I read it, we may have passed. This was my first time at Ziggy's Pizza. The staff was friendly, helpful and quick at their work. They helped me with my order and we sat to wait. The dining area was not crowded at the time. All the tables were clean, the trash emptied, supply table neat and stocked. There is a game area that had several guests playing pinball and video games. It was far enough from the table area that it wasn't too loud. There were a choice of tvs to find a game you'd like, if that is your jam. And the pizza! (Arrived 10 min ahead of schedule) The pizza was incredible! We got the thin crust- pepperoni was just right for my young guy. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place has no ethics or customer service values. On two occasions I have had ample reason to request a refund. Each time, I was told the manager couldn't authorize that. (???) Once, I was offered and took a store credit. Big deal. If you are looking for deep dish pizza, this seems to be the only real contender in town. So far, we've gotten two solid deep dish pizzas from here. Just be aware how filling they can be. Firstly, there are two distinct but deeply connected sections to this establishment -- counter and traditional waiting. The restaurant section has the largest booths in the world for your enjoyment. There's a large assortment of toppings like basil parm red pepper salt pepper and more. Another stand out is the water -- the most generous refreshing cold glasses you can imagine with a good and easy to chew shape of ice. Classic and normal but so appreciated. The fries were a beautiful deep bake fry and soft and flavorful. The pizza was so hot and perfectly topped, could use a little more tomato sauce but really it was good. LOVED this place. After the spending the day at a music festival in Vermont, we discovered that not much was open past 8pm. A local suggested Ziggys, and we were thrilled to discover how tasty it was. Ziggy's is divided into two areas, one area is for self-serve/take-out, and is carpeted with booths and tables, and a small arcade area in the back. The other side is table service and had a large bar and high top tables with multiple TV's. We oped for the self-serve area, where you order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. The noise level was reasonable, and atmosphere was pleasant. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Customer service was equally fantastic. Attentive and friendly servers and cashier. Food was amazing- as usual- I got the cheese calzone and my husband had the cheesesteak sub (would benefit from more cheese though!) Justin was an incredible server- somehow manning the bar and the only waiter available. He was very timely and offered great suggestions. He was so helpful with great beer recommendations! Been here a few times so far and have yet to be impressed. Food is fair only. Their "Chicago Sauce" is spicy, not what one would expect on traditional tomato sauce pasta. Marinara on their pizzas is good though so I ordered it today on a meatball sandwich instead of CS they usually put on them. I think they threw a few drops of sauce from across the kitchen and one of them might have landed on mine. All cheese and meatballs (which were okay) and virtually NO sauce. At least they got the peppers and onions right but for a $15 sub (they charge a $1 for every extra topping you ask for on their sandwiches ~ who does that??????!!!!). The worst part is ordering for pickup on busy days and the absolute chaos that ensues behind the counter. By the numerous piles of boxes it's obvious the kitchen has no problem keeping up with the orders, but spending over an hour there last time I want for an online order pick up, precisely on time, it was painfully obvious the front end has no clue what they are doing. Six piles minimum on top of an oven. Two more piles on counters, all being searched through, moved around over and over again by at LEAST four different people, sometimes five or six, not one of them having a clue what the others are doing. I watched for over an hour waiting for my order for a single pizza as piles were moved, shuffled, restacked, searched multiple time, sometimes the same pile over and over, looking for that one order, then the next, over and over. It's a wonder anyone ever gets the correct order!!! It's a bigger wonder they ever find any of them. It was like watching a bad episode of The Three Stooges, except with five or six stooges in this case. It took an hour for them to just find the slip for my order and tell me it was never given to the kitchen! By that time, after watching the circus they call a front end, this wasn't even surprising. I waited while they made it, but not before telling them to be sure the kitchen knew NOT to put my order with the others and to just bring it straight out to me. This is the last of but a handful of times I've been there. It hasn't gotten any better. And the prices are just ridiculous for such poor service. And don't get me started on their charging practices. One measly eight inch meatball grinder for $15 and a $29 pizza came to over $56????? "Oh," they said on the phone, "We're supposed to add a 10% gratuity for orders over $50." Ours came to $51.09 with tax and delivery fee. First of all, it's NOT a gratuity if you're taking it from me without asking. It's a FEE. And 10% of $51.09 doesn't add up to over $56. And why on EARTH are they using calculators to figure out the bills? And even if they are they certainly do not know how to use them properly because the final bill just doesn't add up!! The ONLY reason I went there today is because C&S Pizza in White River isn't open on Sundays anymore. From now on I'll wait until they're open. They know how to put sauce on a meatball sub and don't charge anything for extra toppings, AND it's a much bigger grinder at six dollars less and much better tasting. This place is cringe. read more
