The famous garlic knot pizza is a must try. My friend and I split a large (okay... way too big for 2 lol) and we both could barely finish 2 slices each (there are 8 ). The garlic knot crust is divine! It is so flavorful, warm, garlicky... what a great idea. I do think the marinara could have had more flavor, and I felt as though the sausage (we got half with sausage) was not super flavorful either. However, overall, it was a good pizza, and for the price (just over $20), it's a LOT of food. Easily serves 3-4. They do sell slices, but their slices looked a little left out and dry. I have finally found good pizza in the Upper Valley! The pizza was not overly salted, nor did it have too much sauce. The crust was well seasoned and honestly could've been served by itself. Every bite felt like I was in a commercial--I had epic cheese pulls and said "mmm" basically the entire time. We have eaten at Ramunto's before and this time we decided to do a carry out since we were staying across at the sixth street hotel. It did not disappoint as we had wings and pizza. We usually have our wings cooked a bit more but every place is different and we understand. We had the works pizza and a cheese pizza with pepperoni . For the wings we had a fire buffalo and their version of an asian wing. The service was time for the pizza was great as we left at a given time and pizza was available at posted time for availability. We were provided plates and napkins and took some chili peppers. The ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable and as you enter the e restaurant you can see the front of the restaurant with the ovens and staff. They mocked me openly after I asked to take food off my check that wasn't delivered with the group entrees; is it wrong to want to eat food at the same time as your family? Or even have it overlap? Not the case here and I asked to have my entree removed from the bill so we could leave (I never received it). They said they would remove the charge but it never came through on my credit card. The restaurant ambience is nice enough, but we did takeout on a rainy-snowy day. The staff was friendly enough, but when we got home (not around the corner), we found the Marguerita was not authentic: base layer of bland mozzarella topped with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, and no basil at all. We also had a plain pie, and found that to be bland as well. It's not that the ingredients were poor - the crust was decent, the sauce was very tomatoey - but using a lot of cheese doesn't necessarily make a good pizza. Three of us were very hungry after hiking Dear Leap Mountain and nothing beats a good hike than an IPA, wings and pizza/calzone. Otter Creek Free Flow IPA on draught. A very smooth, easy to drink beer. The family split an order of maple BBQ wings. Wow! What a unique, sweet, zippy, smoky combination. Awesome. Highly recommended. My 17 year old son and I split a meat lovers calzone and still had a 1/3d left to take home afterwards. My wife got a simple pepperoni gluten-free pizza. They admitted that the GF crust is not homemade. It was slightly undercooked in the middle. GF crust is very finicky crust to bake evenly. Get the middle perfect and you cardboard the edges. Practice will make perfect. We caught Ramunto's at the tail end of COVID restrictions and right before the summer season. They were apologetically understaffed but it was OK, we were in no rush. Until they, or any restaurant in transition during this period, are back up to full speed, it is best to pack some patience when visiting. Everyone is struggling find, hire, and retain good staff. The price for there two huge slices of pizza and a drink was 8 dollars. The food came out quickly after getting a reheat in the oven to get back to bubbling goodness. The beer selection was awesome pretty extensive with a lot of different specials going on but at this point it was a 3 hour drive back to Portland at 6:00 PM so I skipped that. Went here after checking out Dartmouth. Never in my life have I wanted a restaurant to be closer to my home more! The simplicity of this seemingly normal restaurant lets it shine. It's just pizza for a good price with really friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. I got pesto and ricotta on my pizza, and both toppings were put on generously and were extremely fresh and flavorful. Same goes for the pizza as a whole; I usually take advantage of the free oregano and garlic salt at pizza joints, but here I completely forgot about them. The slices are also really big. A large pizza split between two people can easily serve for two meals.
