After a less-than-stellar experience at Ike's, Mr. Pickle's really stood out. My first impression was of these hardworking sandwich makers, working tirelessly to create sandwiches. It made me eager to try their offerings, thinking their busyness meant they were amazing. And they didn't disappoint! The thick-cut cucumber was a great choice, the bell peppers were crispy, and the sauce was just incredible. The bread was also good! What truly set them apart from Ike's is the friendliness of the workers. They clearly want to make you feel welcome. Since I'll be here for two weeks, I'm sure I'll be back more often. I ordered the pastrami with a Dutch crunch I got the whole sandwich, but I only could eat half of it for now so I would recommend if you're thinking of which size I would say small is perfect whole is better for later ordered it from DoorDash arrived within 45 minutes. Food was still hot. They also when you get a whole sandwich, they gave a chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookies they're all fresh. You could taste how fresh the cookie is pretty sure they just made it today. Several was pretty quick quarry of the pastrami very fresh. Earlier today around 1:30, I went to Mr. Pickle's in Walnut Creek, down the street from my job. My husband ordered the Hero sandwich for me, but instead I received a turkey bacon sandwich with tomato--which was not even close to what I ordered. At first, I just felt defeated and wanted to sit down and accept the mistake, but something told me to call the store and let them know what happened. I spoke with a young lady named Jennifer, and she told me I could come in tomorrow to get a brand-new sandwich with a drink. Shortly after, she even called me back because she had found the ticket and confirmed that my order was supposed to be made without tomato. I let her know how upset I was, and honestly, I was so frustrated that I started shouting and even cursing out of disappointment. Instead of reacting negatively, Jennifer stayed professional and caring. She asked how close I was to my job, and when I gave her my work address, she told me she would personally remake my sandwich and drop it off at my job. And she actually did it. That level of customer service blew me away. Jennifer absolutely deserves recognition--a raise, her own store, something. She completely turned my day around. Too often, I've been made to just accept mistakes from companies, especially when I'm paying hard-earned money for my food. This situation started off terribly, but Jennifer went above and beyond to make it right. She is truly amazing--five gold stars! If I were a millionaire, I would give her $1,000 on the spot. Ordered online for pickup. Got the Kids PB&J for my son, Got Beef Sandwich for myself, and the Ruben Sandwich for my husband. Portion sizes were good. My son is starting to be picky but he enjoyed the PB&J and ate the whole thing. The Got Beef Sandwich was tasty. The ratio of bread, meat and veggies was perfect. Will definitely order again. I've gotten their sandwiches via DoorDash multiple times and the continue to be consistently delicious. Both warm and cold sandwiches -- I've had both. I just found out about Mr Pickles from a coworker and have been making my way through the locations at rapid speed!!! Each location has a different menu which comes with its pros and cons... at this location I got the golden gate sandwich and let me tell ya... IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It was actually a recommendation from the super nice workers that helped us. I was asking about another sandwich at a different location and they pointed me to this one based off of my likes and dislikes. They also recommend my bfs sandwich to him and he loved it!
