The seafood menu selection is the same as most crab boil spots. I ordered the deveined/headless shrimp on my last visit. The spicy sauce was def spicy! Shrimp was cooked perfectly, not overcooked like I've had at other places. They give a generous portion of sauce, which is necessary to pour over some white rice! The appetizer selection at Cajun Crack'n is elite! The fried oysters are my favorite! I've also had the wings, fried mozzarella and Crawfish fried rice. All delicious choices! The house special sauce was buttery, garlicky, flavorful, and the medium spice level had just the right amount of heat without being too much. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the sauce was a little on the salty side. It was still delicious, but after a while the saltiness started to stand out. If they dialed that back just a bit, it'd be even better. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Good portions, great flavor, and a solid spot when you're craving a seafood boil.

The side of rice helped cut the saltiness as well. Bimbimbap - love these stone bowl rice dishes! Was pretty standard and we added a fried egg on top as well. My son was a fan of this dish. I expected a bit more. Kalbijjim - the must dish to get here! We ordered the MINI one since we were sharing everything, and we didn't add on any toppings. The dish came and it was really big and amazing. However, either the person didn't hear me or ignored me, it turned out it was the regular size as we were charged $80+ for it instead of the $30 mini size one. It was really tasty - both the short ribs on the bones and not on the bone. There were radish, potato, and rice cakes mixed in there as well. If we knew we were getting a regular one, I would have liked some toppings such as corn or something... not too sure what happened there, but it was still really tasty. When I politely asked whether it would be possible to move to one of the open booths, the hostess responded in a rude and aggressive manner. The manager noticed that we seemed unhappy and asked about our experience, which I appreciated. He also appeared to have a talk with the hostess who politely sad goodbye when we left. However, throughout our visit, I observed other parties of the dominant majority being seated in the available booths while we remained at our table despite our request to move. One family even had children jumping around breaking glasses. While those that were similarly identifiable as us were also seated to the side. The food was also disappointing. Our pizza arrived in about five minutes, which made it seem rushed, and unfortunately two members of our party became ill afterward with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. Between the poor customer service, seating experience, and concerns about food quality, I would not return and cannot recommend this restaurant.

I'm still generally not a big fan of visiting on weekends though. Because the place gets so crowded, you sometimes have to wait a while for certain items to be replenished. But my favorite food that they serve only on the weekend (or dinner) are the Steamed Oysters served in their gigantic shells, which look absolutely impressive, and the Grilled Sweet Shrimp. The Sweet Shrimp reminds me of Tiger Prawns, just much much bigger, and they taste amazing. They're incredibly juicy, and the meat is so tender too. They also offer sashimi on the weekends, although it's limited to Salmon and Tuna. Other than those though, the rest of the food is pretty much the same as the weekday lunch menu. I'm really glad to see they're doing so well. The place was packed when we came here for lunch yesterday. The service was fast and spot on as always. The servers were constantly making their rounds and clearing dirty plates from the tables as soon as they saw them. Great service. Also, they're currently giving 5% off if you pay in cash, just fyi.

They did not explain that at 3:30, they start switching out the trays of food and those are now ALL considered dinner items.
