This family owned pizza place is located in the heart of Cambria. We can on a weekday evening, so both seating and parking was plenty. It was a nice cozy place with a nice view on one side of the restaurant. There was also outdoor seating but it was a little chilly in the evening so we chose to sit inside. You order at the counter, and you get a number. The order is brought to your table. The gentleman taking the order was very warm and sweet. We ordered the wings with mango habanero and garlic Parmesan alongside the garlic roasted chicken. The wings were hot and with generous sauce. The toppings on the pizza were very generous and it was very well cooked. The only thing I'd change would be make it thin crust, but it's personal preference. Definitely a place to try when you're around.

We ordered using the Luigi's app, and it was easy and informative. We got the two for one Wednesday special. I got a small pepperoni and sausage and my husband got a small pepperoni and pineapple. We also bought the house salad. Everything was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean environment and very tasty food.

Luigi's Pizza - Cambria Stopped by Luigi's Pizza in Cambria and had a great experience. The sausage and olive pizza was seriously tasty, perfectly baked crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings that hit the spot. Service was prompt and quick, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant also offers both indoor and outdoor seating, so it's easy to relax and enjoy your meal however you prefer. Definitely a solid choice if you're in Cambria and craving good pizza. Would come back again.

Service was quick on a Sunday evening. We ordered pizza (half supreme, half combo) and chicken wings (garlic Parmesan and lemon pepper). Both were delicious but my favorite were Supreme pizza and lemon pepper wings. Ample parking. Outdoor seating area was clean.

We stopped at Luigi's on our way to Big Sur and I am so glad we did. We had their yummy charbroiled cheese burger and crispy seasoned fries. The burger tasted home made. We also shared a pizza that was equally delicious. The location is a little hidden so you need to be intentional about going to Luigi's and use the navigation. The restaurant is clean and spacious. They take your order at the register and then you sit at any available seat. The service is friendly and fast, just not fast food fast. I highly recommend this as a road trip stop!

Wowzers!! Was craving a good pizza and Luigi's was exactly what I wanted. The Combination Pizza is loaded with toppings. The best part, the crust was perfectly toasty. Service was excellent, making sure we had everything we needed. There is plenty of room inside for large parties and tables outside to enjoy the great Cambria weather. We were visiting g Cambria for a couple days but will definitely visit Luigi's again.

Luigi's is on the top floor of what appears to have once been some sort of medical office building with a twin building next door. There is clear signage to find it. It is within walking distance from some local motels. They have an ample lot since most of the spaces in the building seem deserted. They have a decent amount of items on the menu other than pizza such as burgers and salads. Their pizza quality is better than most if not all fast food chains, but not as good as other local pizza places elsewhere. While we did not try them, several other customers who seemed to be locals got their burgers and salads, so there is a good change that these are at least decent quality. They have full bar with TVs for viewing sports on the side. The ordering/dining format is the recent blend of fast food and sit down. You order at the register with the fast food style menus and then go sit down at tables where order taker brings you your food. You get a number to put on your table. There are refillable fountain drinks as well as some bottled drinks. For the size of the place and the town, they got pretty good business on a Monday at 5:00 dinner. It was somewhat quiet and then got moderately noisy during our meal. The mini pizza is about a personal sized pizza. The pies are also personal sized, but especially if you get it à la mode, then two people can share it and get a good amount. Pricing is tourist pricing, but about standard for today's inflation and CA minimum ages laws. Overall, this is a good place to stop if you do not want a pricier restaurant and want more moderate pricing for the area. Probably not 4.5 stars as the Yelp average, but a definite 4 star experience and worth trying.

Half and half pizza - garlic chicken and supreme

I stopped by this pizza place on my trip to see the Hearst castle. Me and my boyfriend came for Valentine's Day, we walked in and got seated right away. It is more casual so you order, pay, then sit wherever there's a table available. For both of us, we got the medium pizza and it was more than plenty. The nice part is you can do half and half so we did the roasted garlic chicken (amazing) and the supreme specialty. The supreme was okay, spicy for sure! The garlic chicken was delicious. We also got the olallieberry pie which was okay, too sour for my preference for a pie but it was my first time trying it. A olallieberry is a combo of a blackberry and raspberry so I wanted to try. The lemon pepper wings were also delicious, some of the best I've tried. I would say the roasted garlic pizza and lemon pepper wings would be what I'd get if I come back! It's a cute little town.

This might not be the most fair rating because we didn't actually try their pizza, but this is based off of a few other items from their menu. Everything we got was essentially glorified frozen food up-priced a ton. The potato wedges were tasty and standard and a hefty portion, while the jalapeño popper were very mediocre and too heavy on the batter. Hamburger was decent but dry. The best thing had to be the garlic parm wings, which came out piping hot and absolutely full of flavor! Definitely oily though. The service was standard. Place itself is really casual with a bar area as well. Pretty dim ambience at night. Overall not a bad spot for a quick eat.

We got the meat lover pizza without bacon and chicken pesto sandwich. The staff were amazing and friendly. Service was fast! I recommend this Also we got beer and let me tell you the beer was COLD ! Not once did our beer got hot 10/10 Ambiance was good as well. Whenever we come into town we will be stopping by

The atmosphere was accommodating. The service was exceptional. Our server was one of the owners even though you ordered from the counter they still serve the tables. We order the large Pizza 1/2 combination and the other 1/2 meat lovers also, garlic boneless wings. The food was delivered to the table pippin heat hot packed with lots of flavor. The Garlic boneless wings I can't say enough they were AWESOME! They were so good that we had to have 2 more orders of Garlic boneless wings. Hats to the chef.

First time ordering from Luigi's and it was a great experience. We ordered online and had it delivered so I can't comment on the restaurant amenities. We were promptly notified to confirm our order then notified not long after that it was on its way. This was between 5 and 6 pm on Friday night. Freaky fast. We ordered the spinach salad with blue cheese dressing and a bbq chicken pizza. Beautiful huge salad and an amazing pizza. Loved it. Would highly recommend. read more

I have tried all of the pizza places in Cambria, and this is my favorite. Got a large combo delivered the other night. Good amount of toppings, pretty good quality too. Flavorful sauce, nice crust. Overall I like this much better than the other takeout or delivery options we've tried. There is a five dollar delivery fee, on top of the tip, so it's a little pricier than the others that do not charge for delivery fee. Next time I might just drive over and pick it up... We shall see! Ordering was done online, which seem to work fine. I guess I'm old-school, I prefer to call and order over the phone. But hey, it all works. The delivery person was very pleasant, and the pizza got here exactly when it was supposed to. Apparently they have a lot of other things besides pizza, so maybe I will give those a try also. read more

My fiancee and I were visiting from San Francisco and ordered takeout here. During our wait, the cashier accidentally took our name down wrong so we ended up waiting for our order longer than intended. The place was busy though and clearly a local favorite so not the end of the world. We got the roasted garlic chicken pizza and onion rings and like true naive San Franciscans, took a 30 minute walk through gravel and nature with our order in hand back to the place we were staying at. When we got back, the pizza felt well deserved and filling. Surprisingly, we were both blown away by the onion rings which were still amazingly crispy after the long trek back, truly the highlight of the meal! I would go back just to get the onion rings again. Thanks for a good meal during our getaway trip in Cambria! read more

Use to be a Mexican restaurant. Hubby stopped in to pick up lunch to bring back. The sandwiches are ginormous!! We made 2 meals out of them. 1. Chicken pesto sandwich 1. French dip sandwich Both were outstanding!! Fresh bread, fresh ingredients!! I've heard their pizza is good too. Have not tried yet. Nice lunch, Luigi's!!! read more

We ordered the 10 inch supreme pizza just for the two of us and still had some to take home. The pizza came out hot and very tasty. We went on a Monday at 4 PM and there were only two other tables of people. Service was quick and good. The place is so much bigger than it looked like when we walked in the door. Love the tables which have a marble look. Found out they will deliver with a minimum of a $25 order. We would definitely go back again. read more

The cheese & pepperoni pizza is terrific. The food was so good we ordered from Luigi's three straight nights and had it delivered to our hotel. Delivery was quick and friendly. One night was sandwiches, but pizza on the first and last nights. The wings and salad were good as well. Pizza was among the best I've ever had. read more

Good pizza place, would go again. The service was decent, nothing in particular to say. But the person working as the cashier messed up the 2 for 1 Wednesday special or something like that, probably just a mistake on his part. Pizza tasted absolutely exquisite, definitely recommend coming here. The interior looked pretty nice. It was a warm-cozy vibe looking place but looks a bit crowded to me. Called in an order for a large pizza, half Meat Lovers and the other half Hawaiian. It was ready in 20 minutes, which was pretty quick. Sadly, this is where the positives end. The toppings were sparse, the sauce was watery, the crust was chewy, more like soggy chewy. We've had pizzas from the other places in Cambria... they would be a better bet. read more

Worst pizza ever. We ordered a delivery to our hotel it came so soggy we could hardly hold it loaded with half cooked vegetables with no flavor. The crust was not even a pizza crust more like a pastry crust we felt like we threw away $27. Very disappointing. read more

This was our first time ordering from this place. We got the combo pizza and chicken strips and fries. The pizza tasted good for the most part but it was a bit wet I think from the veggies seeping through. The chicken strip and fries were good and they got the food to our house fast so that was a plus. The cost was $60 so that was a little high but it is the coast so not surprising. Great place! We checked in to our hotel and really didn't feel like going to a sit down restaurant and wanted some quick take out, finally we all agreed on pizza. We have tried the other two places in town and decided to give this place a try and I am glad we did! The pizza was delicious as was the salad. Loved it! Was looking for good pizza in a casual but nice atmosphere and we found it at Luigi's. We ordered a salad to share which was a nice size and the Greek dressing seemed to be homemade and was delicious. The lettuce appeared to be locally grown and fresh and a nice variety and not packaged iceberg like some places serve. The pizza came out piping hot and covered in yummy cheese that stretched when we removed pieces. A small was perfect for 2 of us to split and we even had some leftover. The sauce was good, the crust was too. All around a great pizza. They deliver locally to homes and even to your hotel room! The restaurant is cute inside with numerous TVs playing sports, a bar (liquor license is pending), plenty of tables and a wonderful and friendly owner and staff. We will be back! read more

Everything was hot and made to order. I got the western burger no tomato w/ sweet potato fries, mom got the Luigi special with fries, and a mini Hawaiian to share. Fries were hot and crispy, the bbq in the burger was so good (sweet bbq) and the bacon was nice and crispy. The pizza was phenomenal, not too thick, or too thin. Perfect consistency and perfect amount of pizza sauce, the cheese was so good as well. It truly tasted homemade. My sweet potato fries came with a yummy chipotle ranch sauce. Owners were very nice and welcoming. We have been coming to this little town for years, we typically always go to Main Street grill because it's a popular spot right at the entrance of Cambria's Main Street. But, this time, we decided to do some more research and I am so glad we did! This is our new go to spot when we come back to Cambria. I love that there were more options than just pizza if someone isn't up for a pizza, but a burger, salad, chicken tenders, fries, or sandwich instead. We sat inside and it was perfect. Great food and service. My teenage son loved the BBQ chicken pizza and my wife loved the Meatball sandwich. We also had a very fresh and tasty Cesar salad. I loved the measly scraps they left. Price and portions were good and large. Quality was great. You can't go wrong when you see a lot of the locals eating here. Staff were all very friendly and professional. Extremely clean restaurant with a lot of TVs everywhere showing sports my wife and son enjoyed and they are not really sport fans. They also have the cleanest bathroom that I've ever been in at a restaurant (I've never rated that before). On the next visit to Cambria we will definitely visit again. Thank you. read more

Their combo is outstanding with a nice bit of spice to the sauce too. All the ingredients were fresh. Good service, and a very clean place to eat. Service was excellent. We've had both in house dining and take out. Will go back again, and have sent friends there. BEST PIZZA IN TOWN. We've been here for almost 30 years, and have tried them all. The food here is so good. They had a gluten free pizza that was amazing, the BBQ pizza is delish and the pepperoni soo good. My family loved this place. Highly recommend going here. My wife suggested pizza when in Cambria. I know a weird request, but we wanted something simple and it was a few days before Christmas so choices were limited. I normally look at sponsored items as ones to shy away from, but it looked like a good option. It is in a weird location; however the pizza was pretty good. This would be the perfect place for a family meal. I know our kids would have enjoyed it. We'll definitely be back next time we are in town. read more

I have frequented both the Cambria and Fresno locations, partially due to the consistently decent service and mostly due to the quality and quick food. It doesn't matter if you show up right when they open, or if you arrive when there's a line out the door waiting to place orders, service is always much quicker than you'd expect. Food is decent--whether you get a salad (note-the side or small salad is huge--it fills a full to-go container), fish and chips, a sandwich or burger. Substitutions are usually not an issue, and ranch/bbq sauces are available at no extra charge. I'm generally impressed with how absolutely fresh the lettuce and veggies are for the salads. I really have grown used to spending $10 or more for a much smaller salad at other locations and have grown accustomed to picking out wilted/rotted veggies and lettuce. Not here-everything is cold, crisp and fresh. Meat is seasoned well-- and the fries are plentiful. There is usually plenty of seating, whether inside or on the patio. Parking can be rough along Main Street, but if you're patient, you can usually find something fairly close. It does help that the grill is towards the end of the street. Rest rooms are limited and often running low on supplies. It can be quite a wait during busy times. In all, this is a great place for quick and decent food. It is consistently enjoyable for the whole family. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit.

We even give them a hint or two on what we like around town. There's nothing like local knowledge to help you out when you're traveling. We were sitting with a couple from England the other day who were touring the coast and we were able to give them a hint or two about what to see while they were here and also which tour to take at her castle! (The guest house tour is great, you get to see the real undisturbed castle interiors.) On our most recent visit, Sebastian's had wine tasting out on the patio. Patio seating is limited, because they reserve three tables for wine tasting!! We did discover a lot more seating had been added out in what used to be a horse corral, so we ambled on over there. We sat at a high table, kinda on the path out to the horse corral, where there was shade. We sat in observed all the other people coming and going while we enjoyed our delicious Californian sandwich!

I walk in with every intention of trying a meal, then the pastry case catches my eye and completely derails my plans. So while I can't personally review the restaurant, I can say this: if they put the same care and quality into their food that they do their bakery, I have to believe it's excellent. If you have a sweet tooth--or even if you don't think you do--do yourself a favor and stop by the bakery. Just don't blame me if you walk out with a box that's mysteriously heavier than you intended. We got there on a Monday around 2PM and waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated.

Although the steak was not cooked to our preferred temperature, it was very flavorful and tender. And we sure were hungry after a day of exploring. We ate nearly the entire plate. I didn't want to mention anything since we ate 90% of the plate, but our friend convinced us to bring it up to the server. And so I did, not wanting to anything to be done about it. At the same time, my friend who also ordered the ribeye, had ordered his done medium. His also came out rare. He didn't eat his steak but, opted instead to take it home to cook it to his temperature. We had a great time at the restaurant with our friends. If the steaks had been cooked to the requested temperature and all the food had been delivered hot, I would have easily given them 5 stars... We will give them a second chance the next time we are in Cambria.

Besides the corn pudding, the dish was in need of some spice but the creamy tomatillo sauce made it acceptable. The lamb chops entrée filled the plate and was plated quite nicely. The chops were well prepared with a nice char and quite flavorful. The Black Cat Bistro offers a nice selection of wines, many of which are from local vintners.

She refused payment ( but we left money on the seat)....said " this is what we do here!". We will definately always eat here when in town, just because of the people ( and the yummy food).

I wanted to share my recent experience at your restaurant, which started off somewhat disappointing but was ultimately improved by the kindness of your staff. When I arrived to place my order at the counter, I was attended to by a tall young gentleman wearing a red shirt. Unfortunately, I found his demeanor to be quite cold and unwelcoming, which made the initial part of our visit uncomfortable. We even considered leaving because of this, but since I had already placed my order, we decided to stay. However, I'd like to commend two men wear black shirts who appeared to work in the back and seemed to be part of your management team. They were incredibly friendly and pleasant, and their positive attitude really turned our lunch experience around. Thanks to their excellent service, we were able to enjoy our meal despite the rocky start. I believe that positive interactions like these can make a significant difference, and I hope this feedback helps in recognizing and encouraging the wonderful staff members who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. read more

Luigi's Pizza seems to have forgotten that great food requires seasoning and flavors that excite the palate. We ordered a medium combo pizza, only to be met with profound disappointment. The pizza was utterly devoid of flavor, with toppings that did nothing to enhance the experience. It was, quite frankly, one of the most lackluster pizzas we've encountered. Our hopes for redemption rested on the 6-piece buffalo wings, but once again, we were left wanting. The wings lacked the bold flavor you expect from a good buffalo wing, and to make matters worse, they were neither crispy nor satisfying--just chewy and unappealing. To add to the disappointment, the service was practically non-existent. While the restaurant offers some nice views of Cambria and is spacious, these positives can't make up for the glaring shortcomings in both flavor and service. read more

Lugie's Pizza was a great find, especially since most places in town were closed around 8pm. The place has a cozy vibe with awesome views on both sides of the building. It's also a big place so you probably won't have to wait long. We ordered a half meat lovers, half Cali buffalo pizza, and it was the perfect combo. They also have other options like sandwiches and wings, which I'd love to try on my next visit. read more
