Italian Pizza Rosa is clutch every time. Walking in can be a little sketchy at first because they are usually working in the kitchen. But once you are greeted they are friendly and polite. Calling in your order is usually concise when they give you the estimated time. Every time I pickup my order, it is piping hot. The quality is ALWAYS on point. I've even ordered a few times on food delivery apps and they never disappoint. It's a small shop but lots of heart goes into to the pizzas here. read more

Italian Pizza Rosa has been here since I was a kid in 1st grade and it's still around. When a place has been around that long, they have to be doing *something* right, and I can vouch for them. Admittedly though, I've only had their pizza a few times at most, but in my defense I'm not exactly a pizza person. I ordered their 28" (71 cm) pizza maybe like 8 years ago for a party and I remember it being a hit. The thing barely fit in my Integra back then. Fast forward to the past week or so, my fiancee and I had the most random craving for pizza. We never eat pizza, but we decided to stop by on the way home for a slice minutes before they closed. All they had left was a couple slices of cheese pizza and it was the BEST cheese pizza we've ever had. As I mentioned earlier, pizza isn't really our thing, especially cheese. The lady was nice enough to reheat it in (presumably) their oven and it was SO good. The cheese was melty and greasy and their crust is rustic and the perfect hint of oven-charred goodness. Went here last night after a botched attempt sometime last year. Ordered for pickup and while I was waiting went to the butcher shop next door, which seemed to only have chorizo, coiled and loose. Having just eaten the chorizo for breakfast I can tell you it's delicious, however the medium is the hot if you are a wimp(me). Back to the pizza, I thought it was delicious! When people talk about pizza with a chewy crust, I imagine this is what they are talking about, clearly intentional and tasty! For those with jaw issues, this might not be the right pizza, I ate about two pieces before stopping. I also ordered the garlic cheese bread, carb up before and during pizza...why not. I'll post this here, I am having a dry January, so eating a ton of pizza was nice, because I wasn't distracted by beer... I would eat pizza from here again. They also sell by the slice. read more

First off, I don't like pizza. Never cared for it. My husband decided to order from Italian Pizza Rosa because I was craving a pizza (I know, right) and it changed MY life. We ordered a single slice cheese pizza and it was the best pizza I've ever had! Typically, if I had to eat a pizza, it would have xyz toppings but this time we weren't feeling anything other than a plain pizza. How does a cheese pizza taste so good? Italian Pizza Rosa offers you just that. The slice is biiiiiig. The cheese is piping hot and stringy and the marinara is the right amount of tomato with a thin crust. Every bite is SO. DAMN. GOOD. Add parmesan cheese + red chili flakes. If you have Truff sauce, dab some of that on it too. You're welcome. We have tried other toppings such as sausage and pepperoni but sometimes when you want simplicity, a cheese pizza will suffice. They only offer slices on weekdays so I suggest calling ahead of time for availability. Trust me when I say the pizza is so good, I wrote it in my vows. Dang just dang. I have been wanting to try this little spot for a while now and had the chance to do so today because I remembered it haha. I was not disappointed. Cheese was cheesy and hot pepperoni was just crispy enough to crunch but not dry or burnt. The crust was soft on the inside with a fantastic little crunch. The $5 transaction minimum for cards meant I had to order two slices. Little did I know what a lot of pizza I was bringing into my precious, silky life. $2.25 goes a loooooong way at Pizza Rosa. How does a slice the size of a gaudy kite strike you? I don't think I have ever eaten so much pizza at such cost effective prices. These are not wafer thin experiments in stinginess. These slices whop other whopping slices right out of the box. I am oddly relieved I was able to persevere through the first slice and onto the second. Pizza here requires grit and the purity of heart to see a task through to its completion. Those who practice on microwave Celeste pizzas at home need not apply. Pizza Rosa is for the true believers with the faith to eat something greater than themselves. Order. Then never give up chewing. The manager was as much fun to be around. He presented as an amicable fellow possessed of the motive to deal in pizza slices of everlasting vastness. He kept the mood light, and the decor fit his demeanor too. Been coming here for at least 30 years! The food is very good and they are not stingy with their toppings like many pizza joints. The crust is wonderful! I drive 15 miles to get their pizza and will be getting it tonight. The business complex is a bit trashy but that's not IPR's fault. Waiting in the parking lot is a bit sketch as of late. Six years later and Pizza Rosa is still a fave. During COVID-19, they're enforcing masks before entering and recommend calling your orders in ahead of time as it can take a bit to cook your food. If delivery is more your thing, they're on a few of the food apps (Grubhub, Postmates, etc.) so you don't have to leave your house at all - super convenient. We're fans of the large pizza with extra sauce. Though cheese is always a safe bet, we like to switch between pepperoni or chorizo... and if we're feeling extra indulgent, will get both. The chorizo is from next door at Ochoa's, so that makes it even more special and delicious. The slices are big, and for two adults, we still have plenty of leftovers for the next day. This place!! This is thee spot. I love their pizza. I love how the crust is a bit harder and not so doughy leaving me to think it isn't cooked all the way. I have ordered pizza from here a few times. Tonight they screwed up my order, told me it would be 35 minutes, then called back in 5 minutes, when I was outside, i called them back, they say they have the order ready already. I asked how was it already ready? No explanation on the phone. So I am expecting a screw up at this point. I drive there to pick it up and they made it with the wrong crust, wrong size and tried to pass it off to me like that was what I ordered. Pizza was already cold. TIP: Pizzas take about 20 minutes to be ready so CALL IN first so it'll save you time :) I can't lie, sometimes I just crave pizza and I'm down to settle for a fast pie. However, sometimes my craving for pizza is so intense that it either has to be authentic or nothing at all. I go here when my cravings are at their most intense :P My boyfriend and I got the 12" to share and it was enough for the both of us but if you can shovel down 3-4 slices on your own then you might want to upgrade. We got "the works" which meant we can choose 5 toppings: sausage, onions, green bell peppers, olives, and mushrooms- so good. You can tell how delicious a pizza is by its cheese and come on, just look at this photo. We also went a little extra and got the spaghetti with meat sauce- I thought it was okay but my boyfriend loved it- it also came with some slabs of garlic bread which was heavenly. My boyfriend also ordered a deli sandwich and being in the sandwich connoisseur that he is, said it was delicious. He only ate half and ate the rest of it the next morning and said it was still as good so that should tell y something. All in all- I think this place is so worth a try. Would've been a solid 5 stars based on taste, but delivery took 1 hour and 10 minutes. When we ordered estimated delivery was 45. Not too much later but loss of a star. Deep dish pizza is delicious though. Tasty and fresh!. The crust is fresh and cooked to perfection. Finally, all I really can say is...Wow...each slice weighs like an entire pound.
