Great place for traditional polish food. They have it all. Quiet, clean and bright dining room. Friendly staff and great service. Fair prices. Came here on a Thursday at 5:00, not busy at all and wanted some polish food. The restaurant smells of saurkraut, but that's expected. Will be back!

This was exactly what I wanted when I decided to get my fix of polish food on my Michigan vacation. It seems others I have been to in the past have closed. Glad Lukich is still open! I had the super combo with fresh bread, side salad (great ranch), potato pancake, fried pierogi, a stuffed cabbage and sausage on sauerkraut What a great meal and friendly service

Thankfully this place was open on a Monday. Thank you! I was dying for Polish food. Service was excellent. What would we order again? Beef barley soup Cole slaw Swedish meatballs Cabbage roll plate What would we not order again? Nothing. It was all so good.

I was so excited to find a local Polish spot on a work trip. The vibes are very much American/Polish diner, we were the youngest ones in the room, older crowds there for lunch specials. The room is light, bright, and clean. Service was nice and consistent. The pierogis were good, I suggest the sauerkraut ones. I wish I got them boiled rather than fried. The potato pancakes were great and came with both applesauce and sour cream. The star of the show was the cabbage roll! Great flavor and texture. Cute local spot.

Went here a little while ago and it is wonderful when work brings you to random places to say this is a diamond in the rough is an understatement The potato pancakes were the size of Texas and not greasy wich is hard to find. I don't think I have had pierogies this large since a trip to a old polish market in the hood on a romantic weekend in Ohio of all places LOL. The farmer's cheese pierogi was very good some of the best I've ever had and the city chicken was made with veal which is the right way I will say that ambiance is like any other family restaurant being a wee bit dated the carpet is probably from 20 years ago but to their credit it was absolutely immaculate not a single crumb on the carpet and it looked great for its age which is hard to say in a business that you can tell does high volume. The dill pickle soup was definitely homemade. But at the end of the day some meals are just made for two and this Definitely would be a great meal to share with the one you love. Take a tip and bring someone here u care. About . Homade Food isn't everything but it is love. I will be back

We've been touring metro Detroit in search of good Polish food without the drive to Hamtramck. Lukich looked like an option but when we got there the Polish menu only had about six standard dishes. Employees were very nice. Food was decent. And everything was clean. It's a good family restaurant. But it's not the place to go for Polish food.

Ended up in Troy for a shopping trip, and I love to support small businesses especially during the time of COVID, I turned to yelp and found this place to have pretty good reviews, and just down the street from us. They adhered to social distancing, it was definitely dated decor, but well kept, with a nice garden outside. Our waitress was great, very attentive, it was a very hot day and i requested extra ice with my water, and she brought back some extra ice a few more times when she refilled the water. They specialize in Polish cuisine- Which in my opinion can be hard to find it done well. They get 4 stars for the food and quality. Dill pickle soup was excellent, not overly sour, but sour enough. Dumplings in the chicken and dumpling soup were tender and fresh. They have a variety of combos, and i got the super to get a taste of everything. My highlights were the cheese pierogis, and the stuffed cabbage, but the kielbasa was amazing. Potato pancakes were some of the best ive had, not overly greasy, and cooked nicely. My sister loved the homemade mashed potatoes. My husband had the stuffed chicken breast, and didnt have any leftovers. He said it was delicious and filling, but i never got to taste it lol. If im ever craving POlish again, I will make the drive out. For us three, it was about 42 dollars plus a tip.

We forgot to get on the wait list early but it wasn't too long of a wait. The restaurant is bright and airy which makes it a pleasant atmosphere. They had their Seasonal Summer Menu available so we ordered from that. I got the Million Dollar Breakfast Sandwich and hubby got the Chipotle Steak and Queso Hash. We also both got regular coffee. They offer both regular and vanilla flavored creamer for their coffee. I appreciate that because I love vanilla flavoring. The coffee was really good - smooth and flavorful without being bitter. My sandwich was also packed with flavors...their signature Million Dollar Bacon, sausage, egg (any style you want!), Gruyère cheese, hot honey, and greens - all on an English muffin. This was so good! The honey was not too spicy which made it the perfect addition of sweet and heat to the savory sandwich. Hubby really liked his dish as well. This was a complete 180 from our last visit. Don't sleep on this special menu! We also had a great server - her mom works there as well and they made a great team together!

The food was fresh, hot, and beautifully plated -- fluffy pancakes topped with fruit and powdered sugar, a hearty breakfast bowl/hash with perfectly cooked eggs, and a delicious avocado toast situation that hit the spot. The sweet bites we tried were also amazing (light, warm, and not overly greasy). Drinks were great too -- super refreshing and the iced coffee was creamy and indulgent. Service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. The restaurant was clean, cozy, and had that bright brunch vibe that makes you want to stay a while. Highly recommend -- 5 stars!

I ordered the "Double Trouble" -- French toast loaded with cookie dough, Oreos, Nutella, and chocolate sauce. Let me just say... that dish is a train straight to diabetes. In all seriousness, it was absolutely delicious and indulgent, but definitely on the overly sweet side. If you have a serious sweet tooth, this one's for you. My wife went with the Classic Eggs Benedict, and that was excellent -- well-balanced flavors and cooked just right. The breakfast potatoes, however, were a bit bland. They were cooked well texture-wise but could definitely use more seasoning. Service was so-so, though it seemed like they were pretty busy, which likely played a role. The location is great -- conveniently about a mile from Woodside Church, one of the largest churches in Michigan -- so I can imagine it gets especially packed on weekends. One important note: restroom maintenance needs attention. With only a single restroom per gender, cleanliness is critical. My wife noticed the toilet seat wasn't clean, which is something that should be addressed promptly, especially in a high-traffic establishment. Overall, the food quality was strong, particularly the main dishes, and we'd likely return -- but there are definitely a few operational details that could elevate the experience.

A bit of background on my obsession on coffee, I am not an individual that drinks a cup of joe with 500 syrups and 80 cups of milk and say "this is the best coffee EVER!" If it's my first time getting coffee from a coffee shop, I will get a plain black coffee. Therefore, I ordered black iced coffee, which had a good balance in flavors. As for a second coffee, I ordered the Iced Cafe Miel Latte with oat milk. This drink was very good and there was an even ratio between coffee and milk, not too sweet too. Originally, I wanted to grab my coffee and sit inside the coffee shop (from the view outside, the shop looked pretty and modern) but there was no parking spots and the parking lot is beyond small but I did see folks park in the establishment next door and walk over. The drive thru is narrow but the wait time was a bit long and the person at the drive thru didn't seem enthusiastic. Overall, I did enjoy the coffee but I do not see the hype. It basic coffee, nothing that stands out from the rest. I must say the coffee was a bit overpriced, it did not match the quantity. Would I recommend this place to others? I would, only if you're in the area. I wouldn't drive out of my way (20 min) to grab a coffee from this spot.
