I got my nostril pierced here and about 6.5 months later came back to get the jewelry changed to a ring. When I got back to my car, I realized that they didn't give me the correct jewelry that I had picked out! My nose was already extremely irritated/bloody from the jewelry change & I didn't want to make it worse by subjecting my nose to yet another jewelry change, so I decided to leave. After getting the ring put in, it was evident that the piercing was not fully healed as the jewelry swap was painful and bloody. To this, all that the employee who performed the jewelry swap had to say was "Huh...that's weird that it's still not healed after 6.5 months." No advice on how to help it heal or reduce irritation, but I didn't care to ask considering the advice I had received previously from another employee... I came in about 4 months after getting my nostril pierced to ask about what I could do for an irritation bump that was forming near the piercing. The employee behind the counter said to "put tea tree oil on it and baby your nose." I was not told how to dilute the tea tree oil (or that I should dilute it at all)... not that I was going to use tea tree oil on it anyways because I had already read from the Association of Professional Piercers website that you're never supposed to put tea tree oil (or anything besides saline solution) on a piercing under any circumstance as it will aggravate it even more, contrary to popular belief. I honestly don't know why I keep coming back to this place, but I'm confident after my most recent experience here that I will not be back! They clearly want people in & out of their store as quickly as possible, and I seriously question the legitimacy of some of their advice. read more

My cousin and I stopped by after a quick trip to Disneyland, and I'm soooo happy we did! I have been watching their YouTube videos for a few months now and I decided to get my septum done again, but it was gonna be at Lulu's. BACKSTORY: Weeks before I went to Lulu's, I got my second lobe and helix piercings in NorCal. The excruciating pain, constant throbbing, and daily bleeding was horrible but I passed it off as normal and my body's fault. PRE-PIERCING: When I came home to OC, I decided to stop by Lulu's. You have to sign in through a QR code and wait in a socially distanced line. The sales people were super kind and inviting. They gave me their suggestions and helped me pick out what would look best. I paid at the counter and went back outside to wait. I waited 5 minutes to be invited inside the store and another 20 for the piercer. PIERCING: Harrison was my piercer and he was absolutely PHENOMENAL! I almost cried when I got my tragus and flat piercings, not because it was painful but because it was so easy and painless compared to my recent piercings! I regret not coming here in the first place. Harrison was extremely kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. I came in thinking I would get a second helix next to my first one. I asked him if I could change my first helix piercing because the crappy place recommended a huge earring and I didn't end up liking it. He told me it takes about 8 months for it to heal completely but he could change the top for me at any time. I was thrilled to have it changed to a little opal flower! Using his expertise, Harrison recommended a different spot for my helix because the piercing wouldn't show as well where I wanted to get it. He recommended the tragus specifically for my ear shape. Lastly, we did my flat. All of them are healing perfectly and look extremely cute. He cleaned them well afterwards and I had little to no bleeding. PAIN LEVEL: Changing top design of helix: 0/10 Tragus: 1/10 Flat: 2/10 TLDR: I would recommend Lulu's for anyone scared to get their first piercing to those who already have many. Harrison made my experience painless and enjoyable! I have learned my lesson to only come here for my piercings and I will definitely get more in the future! read more

Lulu's is amazing!!! My daughter turns 11 tomorrow and she decided she wanted to try piercing her ears again. She has had her ears pierced before and they ended up infected. My daughters friends all have their ears pierced and she so wanted them done. We spent the day driving around looking for a place to get her ears pierced. We asked around and called a bunch of places. Many places didn't pierce minors or weren't very helpful on the phone. We did not want to do Claire's again, but it was feeling like that was our only option... We called Lulu's and they were immediately very nice and helpful. We were wondering about style options and the associate offered to text me photos of their earrings so we could think about it. After hanging up, my daughter (who was nervous) said, "I want to go there!" When we arrived, we were greeted and the associates showed my daughter all the warring options and talked to her about different styles. When it was our turn to go back, she was very nervous. We had two technicians. They both recognized my daughter was nervous and they talked to her and laughed with her and made her feel comfortable. She asked if they could pierce both at the same time and they did! Later, my daughter said, "that was cool, they acted like they were my best friends!" They're very social media driven and will delay your appointments for them to do videos on their platforms. If you agree to do the videos, they will take longer to shoot your face, piercings, and reactions. The piercer Johnny was distracted and talking to the girl shooting the video about personal things. At the end of the piercing, he just asked "You know how to take care of it right?" Which I did, however, it felt like I was being dismissed so I could just leave. They definitely get your piercings done but if you want more personable care, I'd definitely get it somewhere else! Other places will take the time to talk to you about the length of healing and even make appointments for you to come back so they could check how it looks. At one point I was so over it and then saw my bump turned into an ASTRONOMICAL one and I knew I had to go in and get that sucker outta here. I knew I could respect my piercer judging from his nicely kept EYEBROWS alone and I knew it was golden. Johnny was really gentle and explained the entire process to me, trying to be the least intrusive possible. He also cleaned up my bump which somewhat was on the verge of exploding, and less than a week later my bump has gone down significantly! Came in on weds morning with a friend to get our conch and flat done. Waited quite a bit cause we didn't make an appt. That was my fault for assuming and thinking it wouldn't be so busy on a weekday morning. I didn't mind since I had a whole free day to myself. The staff are friendly. My friend was alittle indecisive but thats ok she just wanted to chose the right style and look. They helped out giving their opinion on what would look nice. I had Kendall. She was sweet and patience with me. I even had a couple jewelry change I brought in myself and showed her my overall look/jewelry I would use in the future. There was a tall guy with blonde hair that was really nice to follow up. I'm pretty patience but for those who isn't, being acknowledged would show they care. Pretty happy how my ears are turning out. Maybe more piercing. Haven't decided yet but it is addicting. The conch hurted a bit but still worth it. P.S. if the owner is reading this. Ever think about having real diamonds? Options to 18k? I know you cater to certain people. But bougie mf's like me even maybe others would appreciate it also? I was recommended to Lulu's by a friend and my experience was great! My friend and I did a walk-in. I had my second/double lobe piercings on both ears done by Lauren. She had great customer service skills and made the entire session good. She was patient to redo the marker spots on my lobes to make sure I liked the spot for the piercing and was able to answer my questions. $45 for both ears double/second lobe piercings. Got my conch pierced here because I was with my friends and was like sure why not but it was just okay. They only sterilized the front and not the back of my ear for the piercing something you might want to keep an eye out for. I haven't gotten a piercing since I was 15 so I was freaking out but in retrospect should have sanitized the entry and exit point of the piercing. The guy who I assume is the owner kept taking off mask in lobby and in back to film vlogs so if you don't like a camera in your face wouldn't come here. Going to go probably to Outer Limits when I need to get jewelry switched to a shorter post to finish healing. read more

I came here to get my earlobes pierced but their jewelry was so cute that I ended up changing my nose ring to a gold hoop as well. I called today as I lost an earring and wanted it replaced, I was specifically looking for a modern mood diamond/gold crescent moon I spoke to a woman who confirmed they in fact had the earring I was in search of, I than scheduled an appt online and drove 30 min only to be told they don't carry that brand or anything remotely similar aka same quality.
