I decided to get my septum done here, and I'm thoroughly amazed at how well they work around the size limitations of the back room (which is a little small). Everything is very sterile and clean, and all their jewelry is on display. The only downside with their display is that there are no prices shown, but I'm sure you'll get an answer if you just ask! Kayla was my piercer, and she has over 9 years of experience. I did give 4 stars because I definitely wasn't expecting a surprise with the needle going through my nose without a count of three, or a deep breath out. I like my piercers to talk me through what's happening, and let me know when they're about to pierce me. Even with all of that, my septum came out beautifully, and I experienced no complications in my aftercare and healing journey. If you like to be surprised and unaware of when the piercing happens, go on ahead! There's no problem with that, but that's just not my personal preference. I found this place on yelp! I wanted to get my Tragus pierced for the longest time now and one day I was feeling spontaneous so I just went! I left with a double helix and tragus. i got my nose pierced by Johnny, it was a great experience. i was super nervous but it barely hurt at all & i'm really satisfied with the results! Johnny was really nice, and made the whole process quick and comfortable for me. the jewelry prices were more than what i was expecting as well. it was $20 for a nose stud and $10 for the back piece, + another $40 for the service itself. i would check the website before going in so you have an idea of what jewelry they carry. overall, my experience with the piercing shop was good. since they're well-known, expect to wait in line for a while. there were 4 people in front of me and i had to wait for about an hour after my appointment time to get it pierced, but it wasn't too bad. the staff helping me pick out my jewelry were extremely nice and helpful as well. ***you have to check in first, the time you request isn't 100% going to be the time you're in and out of there. thanks Johnny! read more

A few weeks ago, I tried calling multiple times to make an appointment for my daughter to get her first ear piercing. There was no answer, so we decided to walk in. There were three young women playing on their phones without any customers. We were informed that we needed her birth certificate to get her ears pierced (as if I walk around with it in my purse??). I offered to pull up her public school online portal with all pertinent information and photo identification, but that was not sufficient. I walked out with a very sad child. I decided to give it another chance today. I went online and booked an appointment. The website cleared listed the ID requirements, so we were prepared today. Got there 10 minutes prior to my appointment. We were informed that the piercer left early today. I booked my appt about 1.5 hours in advance. When we arrived, there were zero customers again. The store clerk was just TOO busy to check the online appt scheduler during the past 1.5 hours. She was completely unapologetic. Unbelievably unprofessional, lazy employees. It was just so awesome to walk out with a pissed off 8 year old for a second time. Complete fail. read more

I came here on March 4th, 2021 at around 4 pm for a conch piercing. I went online and made an appt same day. The service it self cost only $40.00 but I did have to pay about $40 for the jewelry as well. I ended going with a simple titanium flat back. The service was meh. The cashier was a little standoffish but I didn't come here for the cashier lol I came for the piercing. The piercer himself was also not very friendly but he did a great job. I felt almost no pain and the entire process took about 2 minutes. So far my piercing has been healing well and I will def be back for any other piercings I might get. read more

It's super unfortunate after paying over $200 for the stud the piercing and the saline solution they could care less. I got my septum pierced & my piercer was Gabriel. He did such an awesome job (: I unfortunately have a deviated septum & he told me that right after he saw my nose. He said in order for my septum piercing to look good he would have to pierce it crooked to match the linear of my septum/nose. Made an appointment for a nose piercing and when I got there they were very welcoming. But when it came to choosing the jewelry the lady showed me some and told me they are $100. They were very nice but I am not going to pay $100 just for the jewelry when I am already paying almost $50 for the service itself. I asked about the titanium options and she said they have been sold out for a while. If they've been sold out you think they would let you know when you are making an appointment. So someone like me doesn't waste gas driving 25 minutes to get over there. I've gotten many piercings from Lulu's but it's not the same anymore. Their prices are ridiculous and I've read some reviews that their expensive jewelry doesn't even last. Hopefully they get it together but sadly don't think I will be coming back. read more

Writing this quick review because I am literally so grateful! Came in last Friday afternoon/evening just for some advice. I told the young ladies that I was concerned for my daith piercing. I noticed bumps forming on both ends of the hoop where it enters the cartilage. It had been about 3 weeks, and nothing I did was helping them subside or go away. Keep in mind, I didn't get my piercing here at Lulus. However, the young lady was so helpful and knowledgeable in regards on how to treat it. She assured me it was normal, which was a huge relief! She kindly gave me a list of suggestions and aftercare products to help treat the bumps. A few days later, the bumps have gone down tremendously! Almost non visible. Even though I wasn't an existing customer, and wasn't planning on purchasing anything; the fact that she still helped me was awesome!!! She truly took her time explaining how to care for it, which meant a lot. I wish I would have gotten her name. Definitely had to share this great little experience! read more

I came here to pierce my ear lobes. I have gotten them pierced at Claire's in the past and it got infected. The process was very quick and easy once I got inside. It was really clean and professional. My earlobes are not infected at all and have healed nicely. The one down side was that I made an appointment for a certain time but I got them pierced 30+ minutes after my appointment time despite being there early. Overpriced. Not very helpful in the terms of asking what I'm looking for when it came to jewelry. Every other place I have gone to has asked me when I got my nose piercing to ensure I'm making the best decision in my next choice of jewelry. They did not seem to care at all. The woman who changed my jewelry was very sweet but also felt like she was training alone. It took her a very long time to figure out what she was doing. I have also never been to a place that charges you for the change of jewelry after you've spent $80 on it. And the cashier says "by the way, no refunds" AFTER she swipes my card haha. For a much more personable experience, visit somewhere else. I think it's important to remember people are always willing to spend the extra money if they feel taken care of. Best customer service ever! The staff are really friendly and easy to talk to. This is my second time here and I reside in Sacramento CA. The shop has remodeled since the last time I was there and it's amazing! They have a variety of jewelry to choose from! Chloe helped me with the jewelry portion and is overall amazing. Lulu's Body Piercing shop is located in the corner upstairs right next to Target. I walked in around 4/5pm on a Saturday evening without an appointment and was serviced right away. You have to sign a waiver and sign up via the tablet in their shop. The manager working at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. The female who did the piercings for me was very gentle and made sure that I was content with the markings before getting pierced. Everything went smoothly and much more quickly than I thought it would. I made an impulsive decision to get a helix piercing ($30) and a navel piercing ($45) and I have no regrets about it. Each piercing comes with jewelry of your choice included from a limited selection (wider selection for an additional fee). They also sell after-care cleaning products (~$8). I asked them if they would be able to change out my jewelry for me if I had brought in my own, and they said they could for about a $7 charge. I'd definitely come back here to change out my jewelry or check out their selection. They're clean, quick, and super friendly! read more

I decided to get two cartilage, one conch and two ear lobe piercings on each ear, spontaneously . The first day I came here I got the two cartilage ones. Johnny pierced it for me and he was very friendly and patient since I was picky on where I wanted the cartilage piercings to be. He was very professional and it was the first time I did it without a nail gun. The pain wasn't that bad and the prices were appropriate! Then two days later (today) I got the conch and the double ear lobe pierced on both sides, and Royanne helped me out. Harout was there and gave me advice on future piercings I might want but nonetheless they were all professional and welcoming. Got my helix piercing done 2 weeks ago and it is healing well. I called in an hour before i went in to book an appointment, they were very welcoming and took me in right away. I'm extremely allergic to metal jewellery so just to be safe, i wanted the titanium piercing which I had read is the safest. I called most piercing shops in OC and Lulu's was the only place that does titanium for helix. So i went in and asked about the possibility of allergic reactions to surgical steel vs titanium, and they explained it to me well. I ended up getting the surgical steel piercing and so far, no reaction to it. The process of piercing was super fast and efficient, most importantly PAINFUL! Highly recommend! read more

Crooked piercing Soooo this place used to be really nice when it was black and red inside, I got my nipples done and it was great. By that I mean like it was comfortable, and you didnt feel like anyone was pushing something on you. When I first when in I made an appointment and started looking at jewlery. Right away someone helped me and she was really nice but a little to pushy on getting a gold septum ring. I already came in looking for the beautiful titanium opal jewlery which was 52.00 if I remember correctly. Then I waited for my appointment. For the jewlery, the after care spray and the piercing it cost me $131.00. I went to the back I was nervous and then the guy kinda young with a beanie told me to sit down and lay back. I did that and he was not talkative at all and after he was done instead of saying okay you can sit up now, he threw forward the top part of the chair and kinda was like okay look at it. Its crooked....when I asked is it supposed to be like that I get oh it's your septum....which isnt true. Then said just dont wear barbells and people wont notice. The thing is I wouldnt of been mad things happen I would have just ask to take it out and come back another time to re-do it. Then I just left. I was pretty upset because I paid so much, it was done wrong and then being pushed up on the chair was kinda rude. It's a beautiful place and great jewlery but, if it's not an ear piercing then I just dont reccomend it. read more

Upon my first piercing at another store (not Lulu's) it got infected and had a huge bump. Johnny immediately recommended to me what I needed to do. Months later, I came back to get some hinge hoop earrings and the staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Jumping to 2020, I went in to re-pierce my ears. I hope the owner of this salon sees this message. I WOULD NEVER get a piercing here EVER EVER. The jewelry is gorgeous, but do not get it pierced into your body at this location. Extremely unsanitary, I was standing in the lobby when she pressed into my closed nose piercing while I was standing in the lobby with a huge needle hanging out of my nose.. she checked me out with the same gloves on (using her knuckles as she checks me put with the iPad as if that's making a difference in sanitation). This is pushing a HOLE into my body with no sanitation...we walk to the back so she can put the new jewelry I bought in my nose... same gloves on.. opens a plastic bag without the 10 min starilavzation of the jewelry. My friend has had her piercing in for 6 years and she was getting her nose jewelry switched out after me... NOT ONCE DID THIS GIRL CHANGE HER GLOVES..... what the eff.. NEVER EVER. I'm beyond GROSSED OUT by this place. read more

I got pierced here back in October (daith and forward helix) by Gabriel. I have a total of 12 piercings from different shops. He was super professional and really gentle. Made the experience great despite some difficulty with the jewelry for my daith. Offered me a Capri sun if I felt light headed. My ONLY complaint is that the front desk sales rep showed me an array of jewelry before peircing (all was really high quality and beautiful!) lIttle did I know she sold me a daith ring that hinges...BAD MOVE that should NOT happen, according to Gabriel, to pierce with. As such we had a really difficult, and PAINFUL time getting it through. Took much longer than my allotted appointment time. Ended up having to switch to a different piece altogether cause it just wouldn't work. So I felt disappointed that this was allowed to happen. I spoke to Johnny over the phone later about jewelry at a separate date, and he was incredibly helpful! So friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back for piercings again.
