Wow wow wow!! I dont normally post Yelps but this experience forced me!! This store and these girl running it were the best ever! Greeted right away and moved to another girl to talk pricing and other things and they were so personable and amazing. Each one of them cared and you could tell. The girl who did my piercing took her time and focused on exact placement. We joked and laughed and i wanted to stay for hours. Got pierced here about a week ago and was quickly seen. I was a walk in for my septum piercing and after filling out paperwork for 2-3 minutes I was seen within 10 minutes of myy arrival. It took the piercer less than 2 minutes from the time I got in the back to the time she was done and I was pierced. Everything has been healing fine and seems to be in the right place. I went to get both my tragus pierced and the service was great the girls were very nice and said I could come back in a few months to get the backing replaced for free. When I showed up to get the backings replaced they wanted me to pay extra and I said I wasn't going to. So they gave me the cheaper backing even tho I literally spent more than $600 here. I don't think they really care about what happens after they only care about the initial piercing because that's where they profit the most from. 7/10 do not recommend read more

Went back to give it another chance. Understandably busy because it is a weekend, so was put on a wait list. Was told it would be maybe an hour and a half if not sooner. I return an hour and a half later to be told there's still 6 people ahead of me and that it may be another hour at minimum, but likely longer. So apparently 1.5 hours means three. I have been here multiple times and had an good experience. yesterday i went to get my cousins ears pierced and had the worst experience. When we walked in at first they weren't taking walk ins. no big deal, we asked what time we would be able to come back and they said about 45 minutes later. We confirmed an appointment with the piercer for 45 minutes later and they tell us we have to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes once we get there!? The piercer walked out the door as we walked in. I understand being short staffed but this was ridiculous. I called in for a tongue web piercing 3 days ahead. I'm a subscriber of their yt channel and drove 25 miles to their shop, only to be told that the piercer was not feeling well and left 20 minutes before my appointment time. I didn't get a call to let me know. Initially, I made sure to ask on the phone that the piercer who does oral piercings is available. I understand people can feel ill, but I would have appreciated a call telling me my appointment was cancelled. Standing outside Lulu's I called Sick Dogs about 2 miles away and I got my tongue web done by them for the same price as Lulu's. read more

This review might be a little long, but stick around.. Ok, so I was visiting California (Santa Ana), and I knew I wanted to get my nose pierced before I went back home (Las Vegas), at any expense. With no prior knowledge, research, or direction. We ended up finding Lulu's Body Piercing on Google and gave them a call. From the moment they picked up the phone, we were captivated by the warm and welcoming attitude. The ladies were quite patient and answered all our questions. I had a feeling I would end up getting my piercing done at Lulu's. Fast forward a few days, we called back around 5:45 pm but they were booked for the day (hence, they close at 7:00 pm) So we found another shop that was available to pierce until 8:00 pm However, the staff at Lulu's was so sweet to us over the phone, we HAD to meet these ladies, and put a face behind the undeniable good vibes. Then that's when we decided to stop by and give them the business they deserve and purchase the jewelry there. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Britton and Leyla, (the ladies we spoke to over the phone) and it was nothing short of what we expected. When we got in line, Gabriel (the manager) came out and greeted us as well. We told him about our phenomenal experience over the phone and how we wanted to give them business and AT LEAST buy the jewelry from Lulu's. Without hesitation, Gabriel squeezed us in to get my nose pierced WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT-PAST BUSINESS HOURS. Not to mention, the service and hopitaility was REMARKABLE. I got both my nose and nipples pierced here. My experience getting my nose pierced was perfect, no problems. But when I went back for my nipple piercings I noticed many unprofessional incidents. For starters when I went in to get pierced the piercer says " why do you want these done?" And I said to be more confident, to which he replied, "why because they look like that?" It is completely inappropriate to comment about someone's breasts like that. Also I went to get the jewelry changed where a piercer noticed that it is pierced incorrectly and wonky. I really recommend this place for kid piercing. The staff here are professional, helpful, and courteous. My daughter had her ears pierced before 8 yrs ago and her ears got infected so we assumed that it was the earring being fake so the holes closed up. She wanted to get ears pierced again, and this place was referred by my friend. We went back in November 2019. Gabriel was her piercing specialist. He was very calm, gentle, and talk to her through the whole process since she was nervous. She had a great experience there as well as first time being filmed of her experience with her friends. Presently, my daughter had gotten blisters again on the back of her ears but her earrings were real this time. We weren't sure if it was infected again. I turned to Lulu's for their expertise and explained what was happening to her ears. It was Gabriel again who helped us. He examined her ears and said that we may have switched her earrings too early. It is supposedly 4-6 months to take out and we took it out in 2 months. Bad on us cause we lost the instruction paper ‍ It could also be her rolling around in bed at nights swell. I brought her original earrings and Gabriel helped us to put her earring back in. He is awesome and I trust his knowledge. So I totally recommend any first time piercings here especially for kids. Also look them on YouTube. My friend and I visited Lulu's to get matching piercings. The wait time was surprisingly short even though there were a couple people ahead of us. One person I would like to give a shout out to is Gabriel, which was the one who did my piercing. He had such a great energy, and he always made sure I was okay. As a token of my appreciation I made sure to leave him a tip. However, I was extremely DISAPPOINTED and pretty UPSET when I found out MY TIP FOR HIM was going to be distributed amongst all employees (per owner new policy). The only reason I found out about this new policy was because I asked, but I asked after I had completed my transaction which was too late. Lulu owner's I think you should reconsider this new policy. I am leaving a tip to the employee who did my piercing. Not to the employee who is standing at the front laughing and giggling. VERY UNFAIR !! If I ever visit the shop again I'll make sure to personally tip my piercer. read more

I went in a couple hours ago to get my 3rd lobe piercing and belly button and Harrison was amazing! Very professional, pretty quick and calmly talked me through everything. I didn't know what to expect as far as my belly button, so I was a little nervous, but it was honestly almost painless. I came to Lulu's because my friend highly recommended this place. When I scheduled my appointment I prepaid $40 for 2 lobe piercings. On the day of my appointment the girl at the counter wasn't very helpful. She didn't have any recommendations and didn't tell me the prices on the jewelry. I don't understand why I had to pay an additional $98 for the earrings if I paid $40 already? And then the guy who pierced me was very serious. I was a little nervous and I was trying to make conversation and he wasn't even trying to be friendly and have a conversation. It didn't really seem like he cared to be there, just going through the motions. The piecing itself went well but I am very disappointed in the customer service overall. I feel like my experience would have been completely different had the managers been there. I was hoping to come back here to get another piercing in the future but I don't think that will happen. read more

The first few times I came to Lulu's was great. Kayla pierced my septum, did a fantastic job - pain level was a 0. The 2nd time I went to Lulu's, Johnny was very patient and understanding. I had many questions when switching out my helix studs to hoops. He had also was the one to give me my two other helix piercings and conch piercing. Quick, and also did a fantastic job when piercing. I absolutely loved Johnny's customer service. So I decided that Lulu's was going to be my "go to" piercing shop and started recommending to others. The last few times that i went to Lulu's it was Gabe and Royanna switching out my jewelry. I told them which jewelry that i wanted. I'm still new to the sizes of jewelry and how they fit but I thought that when I asked for my jewelry snug and not too tight they would give me the correct sizing, and gauge. But they didn't. Gabe gave me my helix ring too loose which is ok, i just wish he would have informed me or asked me about the certain sizing I wanted. When I went back to switch out my septum, Royanna was there to help me. This is the main reason why I'm giving this review 3/5 stars. The septum clicker that I chose was way TOO TIGHT! It started giving me pain and it eventually started crusting and tarnishing because of how tight it was. For the price of the clicker it was not worth the pain. I would have thought that since she is a professional piercer she should have told me that it might be too tight or too snug. I love Lulu's very much, they're very helpful on their instagram and I really enjoy knowing my piercers, which is why i'm not leaving 1 star. read more

I recently came in the evening, on 12/13/18, to get my naval pierced and I wish I was able to say that this place was as professional as everyone said it was. Initially, I didn't even know I was being duped. Basically, I came in for a naval and they were quick and everything to get me in and all that. The piercing was quick, but the reason I'm giving this place 2 stars and not 5 is because the girl (definitely not Kelly; she told me her name but I can't remember) actually pierced me twice without telling me. I remember feeling a second puncture during the piercing but didn't notice because I was excited. As it turns out, my friends who saw my piercing were noticing that it was too high. The thing is, she drew the initial piercing placement with a marker first and it was fine but when it came to piercing she actually pierced me twice... without telling me. I just find it rude and unprofessional for her to not have told me she actually messed up and pierced me twice. I even have a scab right under the piercing, where she pierced me twice. Just yesterday, when I went with my friend to get her naval pierced, in the bay, her pierced examined my piercing because I was feeling some discomfort yesterday. Well...he showed me that she went in totally crooked the first time, took out the needle and went higher than the original marked placement. I just am very frustrated and disappointed with Lulus because I hear great things and was hoping to get all my piercings done here. Now, I don't know if I can trust them anymore. To not tell a customer that you pierced them twice or messed up IS MESSED UP. They still charged me full price and I even tipped, not knowing how terrible my piercing really turned out to be. I hope that you guys are much more professional with the next customers that come for a naval piercing... TLDR: she messed up my naval piercing, pierced me twice, didn't tell me, and charged me full price. I think it's pretty important to tell someone you messed up...at the end of the day, it's their body and they trusted you so it should be common sense to let them know. I'm disappointed. read more

Oh my gosh I've learned SO much about piercing from their YouTube daily vlogs alone! I had no idea Claire's wasn't supposed to use a piercing gun on your cartilage nor nose piercing EVER. I came in and got a previous Claire's upper ear cartilage piercing redone and the earrings are also awesome. I would say the initial pierce (like five seconds or less) was a 2.5 on the pain scale but by an hour later it was maybe half a point. Plus as long as you keep it clean the pain goes away SO fast. I highly recommend getting any body piercing here! They're super professional, fun, and made me feel super welcome and comfortable. The pricing is also ridiculously reasonable! read more

I've been coming here for YEARS but today was so great i finally need to leave a review. I got my Medusa pierced here a month ago and it was going great until i wanted it changed. I just wanted the top changed but the post was also changed into a shorter one but i had no idea it should not have been changed to that shorter one! I went on a trip to San Francisco and while i was there it got embedded into my lip. I went to Lulus today and Jony helped me out. I don't think either of us were sure he could do it but he did it and saved my piercing. Jony is my ONLY pierced from now on! He told me that small one should only be used for an ear piercing smh. I came to get my nipples pierced. The piercer was really nice and dotted where the piercings would go. I had asked about one of them just because I felt that it would be too close to the edge of my nipple and not close enough to the base before to areola. He had explained that it was in a good spot since you dont want to it go through the areola of course and so I trusted his judgment. A day later I was concerned since it was pierced so close to the edge of the nipple in comparison to the other one I had done which was perfect. I reached out to them through there piercing help link that they provided on instagram and never got a response back. Two months later I noticed that the piercing was even closer to the edge and more of the bar was showing than it initially was. I had provided a picture to their piercing help link, and I used that to compare where the piercing was now. And it really was starting to migrate closer to edge and this was a sign that I needed to remove it because it was rejecting. read more

Your evening staff was great today! I stopped in after realizing my 4ish days old helixes swelled up. I got them at another shop that practices safe piercing and I did everything right for aftercare. I work very close by to LuLu's and didn't want to wait much longer to get it checked out. Turns out, I was having an allergic reaction to the jewelry. I was already having a rough last few days, but your staff was so sincere and welcoming when I started to uncontrollably cry, which had nothing to do with my experience! Must've been my relief being released Besides slight normal pain from the piercing removals, it was a great experience and they took amazing care of me.
