I love coming here! The service is always very attentive and kind. The karaoke rooms are clean. The food is surprisingly SO good and all their meat is halal! The patrons are all friendly. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I love their service because they are quick to refill my drinks, check on me often but not too much to be annoying, and the bar and tables are quickly cleaned. The karaoke rooms are well kept and I love that they have the ability to look up songs through YouTube and not just the karaoke machine. People need to understand Korean karaoke rooms are charged by the hour but it is up to the patrons to time themselves. It's common practice so seeing the negative comments regarding this is just ignorance. Now the food...I've only recently started ordering food here because I don't like bar food. It's never good and all super unhealthy. But once I tried their mozzarella sticks?! Holy crap. Since then I've tried their bulgogi sandwich, burger, calamari, wings, and all of them were so tasty. I don't like American food so this is saying something. They take their time with their food and you can tell they cook with care because the plating is also cuter than other bars and the seasoning and ratios are all great. I also love that there are games you can play! Jenga, cards, beer pong table (depending on the day/time), chess, and other games I don't know the names of. Prices are high! They charge by the hour and do not notify you of how long you've been in the room. That responsibility is put on you, so recommending that you should set an alarm/be aware of your usage of the room. The prices are even higher on the weekends. However, they are not too bad when you go with a bunch of friends. We felt that the room was clean and service was good. BLUF: Overpriced. Uses YouTube instead of YouTube Premium/purchasing a license to have the karaoke songs. Steep room rates, small rooms, and out of stock on lots of drinks. Ambiance & Room Experience (2/5): When we entered, we weren't greeted by anyone when we entered (no host). You need to go up to the bar to ask about your reservation. RESERVATION RECOMMENDED! The entrance also didn't seem like an entrance to accept guests. It kinda felt like a holding room with tables. Once you get to the room, just know, the rooms are NOT soundproofed. You WILL hear all the other rooms around you. Also, the rooms are HOT! We had to request the AC be turned up in the room, and it was still boiling. The room was very small for a medium room. The site says up to 15 people can fit into that room. We fit 9 people and 2 had to stand the entire time. Your essentially paying $50/hr for a room with a microphone that fits 6 comfortably. Room options: *Small (1-5 people): $40/hr *Medium (1-15 people): $50/hr *Large (1-25 people): $70/hr Music Selection (2/5): We were shocked that they just use the NORMAL YouTube. You have to wait or skip through ads to get to the songs you want. They don't pay any licensing fee for any of the songs. You have to type in "Gunpowder & Lead by Miranda Lambert karaoke" then choose from the YouTube selection. This doesn't give any credits/kickbacks/royalties to the artist for using their songs for profit. I understand they want to have as many songs as possible, but this just didn't sit right from an ethical standpoint. Food (3/5): We ordered a few plates of food and all were delicious. The food was overpriced though. Yeah the fries were good, but it's also... just... fries. When you order food, they bring it to the room and set it on the table. But they never take the plates or cups out. So you're ordering food and drinks for 2 hours and the table is just filling up. We thought they'd take plates out as they brought food in, but nope. When you try to ask them to take the plates, they quickly walk out the room before you can say "excuse me." Drinks (3/5): Their soju seemed very overpriced... $18. White Claws were $5.50 (decent price) but they were out of a lot of flavors. Their mixed drinks (gin and tonics) were $10. With the high room prices that didn't even have YouTube Premium, we'd expect the drinks to be a little lower in price to balance it all out... or lower the room rate and increase the drink prices. But having both kinda high didn't seem right. TLDR: I wouldn't come back because of the lack of YouTube Premium/purchasing a license to have the karaoke songs. I came here recently with a group. I like the idea of being in a room for karaoke. This was my first time in a private room. It was cool because you felt more comfortable to sing. I ordered the steak sandwich with Korean seasonings and fries which were both really good a nice sized portions. The service is different. If you need service, you're supposed to press a button on the wall if you need anything. Half the time, we kept forgetting about the button and just got up, walked to the bar if we needed anything, which was not convenient. Karaoke! Okay so I've been here twice. The first time I just came to order some drinks and check out the place. There's a screen playing different hip hop videos, but the bar is not where all the action is at, you want to go into those little rooms and sing your heart out. So it's $40 an hour to use the karaoke rooms. This Korean style of karaoke is a more comfortable way of singing like a fool than singing in front of a group of strangers. 4 stars. OVERALL: karaoke review only! Nice staff, clean room, good selection of songs, they have the booklet and the Korean tablet for choosing songs. Didn't order food/drinks so can't speak to that. I came here for a friend's bday and I thought it was really great. We were 8 people and got a medium room, which was definitely bigger than I expected. The song selection was decent and the price was worth it when split amongst so many. Definitely one of the best places in Centreville! This place has been here since 2005 and is the first Korean karaoke bar (Noraebang) in Centreville. I have frequented this place many times on weekends and during the week. They are open late every night of the week. There is a great selection of drinks, plenty of soju and they have really great food on the menu. They have traditional Korean and non Korean dishes. I highly recommend the Kimchi Fries. Trust me on this one. The staff is very nice and attentive even on busy nights. They are all quick and efficient. They just remodeled the main bar area and the karaoke rooms and they all look fantastic. The owner and staff definitely take pride in this establishment and it definitely show. Anyone who is a local knows the place and anyone visiting from out of town I highly recommend you stopping by for a drink or with a group of friends if you all want to sing some karaoke. There's DJs playing hip hop, EDM and Top 40 every other Thursdays and they have other music events ever so often. Check their social media pages (FB and IG) as they always post updates. On days were there isn't any special thing going on, its a nice quiet place to come grab a drink, watch a game and relax. Not every establishment can say they have been around for 15 years. I came one Saturday with a friend. We were able to book a karaoke room and it was a lot of fun. You can use the regular karaoke system or even play songs from YouTube which I really enjoyed ! I believe he is one of the owners/bartender made my requested cocktail so delicious !! Grace is also amazing and was so kind and helpful. Beautiful energy and aura. I ordered mozzarella cheese sticks they were delicious and seasoned well, my friend had the fried cauliflower, haha she's very particular but they were wonderful and kind about proving the dish to her liking. I really appreciated that though & felt it best to mention because others may have easily lost their temper but the bartender kept his professional decorum and tried to do all possible to not only explain but ask for it to be prepared as she had asked. I love a good Korean karaoke bar! Nothing is better than singing your favorite songs to your hearts content with a group of friends. I believe that Amplitude Karaoke in Virginia Beach has me spoiled though because Lulu's was only okay to me when I compared the two. -Their food was just okay (I ordered the spring rolls and steak kimchee fries) I much prefered the ones at Amplitude in VB -Their Drinks were just okay (I only had two that night) -Their sound system and display were just okay, a lot of echo and other feedback and they don't use any real music videos like Amplitude in Virginia Beach. I will say though I had a great time here, I've just expierenced better. I'll be back if I ever find myself back in this area. read more

This is located in a strip mall and the outside is unassuming, but once you step in, it's beautifully decorated and everything is up to date. I got there pretty early and was greeted very kindly. I will never return to this place. Last night a group of 6 friends (including myself) went out to Lulu to partake in some karaoke. We were greeted by a woman wearing a manager name tag. We inquired about getting a karaoke room and she immediately said "oh sorry, all rooms are full. You need to make reservations." She walked away, grabbed 3 cards and came back, handing them out to us. It was plain to see they weren't busy at all because three or four of their leather couches were free and open in the main room. The "manager" didn't even bother to offer us a seat in the main room... she simply started motioning us toward the door and walked on our heels the entire way to it. As we exited, she grabbed the door handle and pulled it shut behind us, all while keeping a sh*t-eating grin on her face. It's very clear to me that we were discriminated against for being non-Asian. Everybody knows that the Remix of Ignition is the best Ignition of them all so why does Lulu only have the original version on their system? At publishing time this is my only complaint. For those who are not quite ready to step up to the world of competitive bar karaoke yet, Lulu Cafe offers private rooms where you can sing your heart out. It's impossible to have fun here since karaoke and alcohol are the great equalizers in life. The machines are easy to use (and I'm technologically unsavvy) and their song list is wide and varied. Our group sang our little hearts out from the likes of Pantera to Third Eyed Blind to Beyonce to 98 Degrees. Soju cocktails are a great drink to order because it's easily sharable and who doesn't like drinking shots that taste like candy? Be careful though because they can sneak up on you! Ended up here spontaneously. And this place was surprisingly nice. The room was very clean and the machine worked with little issue. Options for the songs were basically same as the other ones you can find in Annandale.(the lists are by songs and you can some songs can be found only if you search for it. Sometimes the mic does go out and I was advise to bang on it once and bam ! Problem solved. One thing I really liked about here is that everyone that works here speaks English and are younger than most places, which makes communication much easier. It does take a while for them to accommodate you if you press the bell in the room. After two drinks I can tell that they use bottom shelf liquor which for a price is not worth. So any mixed drinks like Long Island is not personally not recommended. They were open to 4am on Saturday night . They charge $40 for small rooms and $50 for large rooms so keep that in mind. read more

I was very pleased to finally visit this intimate yet spacious full service bar with small to large karaoke rooms in the back. Sure, there are many local bars in the area but this bar is unparalleled to its competitors. Not only do they have an extensive food menu, the bartenders are great, and their are a variety of spirits and cocktails to choose from. There are also Korean-inspired cocktails as well. It's an average sized bar with an open layout to accommodate to their guests. It is a great place for parties. The balanced menu, full bar, and tasteful decor will bring me back here again. I've also never had the food there but I did for the first time today and it was sooo good! My friends and I were joking about how the chef probably has nothing to do since most people go there for drinks and karaoke; our expectations weren't high. BUT THE UDON AND SPICY PORK WAS SOO GOOD.
