I have been coming to see Lusine do my hair since it opened last fall. This time I had a special Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment done. Lusine has recommended this treatment to me many times, but I was always hesitant. I have never done any kind of treatment on my hair and I was skeptical that it would actually work. I came in and it took less than a couple of hours and ideally I was not to wash my hair for 48hrs+. So I waited and after 72hrs I washed my hair and I no longer had frizz, my hair was super smooth. And I still had my curls, which everyone said my hair would just be straight and thank goodness it wasn't. My hair is curly, but very manageable and I don't have to put products/chemicals into my hair anymore. I cannot believe I waited this long to get this treatment. I absolutely love it. Every person that has difficulty managing their coarse curly hair needs to come in and get this treatment at Lulu Salon. Great new salon in downtown Waxhaw! My stylist, Ani, recently started at this salon after being in Dilworth. Although the drive is further for me, she is well worth it! I'm very particular about my haircuts and struggled to find stylists in the last 5 cities I've move to in the last 10 years. I like that Ani takes detailed notes during the initial visit and works very very hard to make sure you are satisfied. Please keep in mind that since Ani is very precise, the first appointment might go over the allotted time, so please leave don't be in a rush to get to another appointment. Her work is impeccable and worth the extra time the first couple visits. Once she knows your hair and particulars, each subsequent visit will breeze right by. Had the best experience and would highly recommend to anyone! My stylist I had been going to for years recently moved which sent me on the hunt for someone new. After so many years with the same person I was a little apprehensive but after reading the rave reviews I took the plunge and set an appt. One of the best decisions I have ever made! I went in for a consult----color and cut. Ani was my stylist and after talking with her during the consult I was very comfortable and knew I was in great hands. Tonight I had an appointment with Ani for a haircut. She was very thorough in her consultation with me. She asked me questions about what I expected out of the haircut. She was professional. I loved that she made suggestions on what she thought would compliment the shape of my face. You can tell that she is passionate about her work and wants you as the customer to be happy when you leave the salon. Recently moved to the area and desperately needed to find a new hairdresser after going three times longer than usual due to the "Covid" crisis. I like the shop because it's small and I don't have to deal with lots of stylists and customers milling around. Olivia has done a great job cutting my hair and is helping me transition from years of coloring to my natural color.
