I recommend you definitely try on the clothes before buying it. Lululemon seems to look very different on a hanger vs. on your body. I had a bra that I bought a couple months ago but it fit too tight and I wanted to see if they would let me exchange even though I didn't have the receipt or anything. I first went to Valencia and they didn't let me. I then went to the Studio City location and they were so unbelievably nice! I went to lulu lemon in studio city and had the very best experience. Shelly and James were probably two of the most helpful, kind and enthused sales associates I may have ever met. I've always had great experiences at lulu , but these two helped me to figure out what I needed and where and how I could get the sweats I wanted from a different location. Shelly helped me pick out the right stuff and sizes and held all my clothes as she explained the new styles and how they fit different etc.... and James (Australian) salesman actually called a few different places to get me the right size and color of the "city sweats" sweatpants and got me free shipping from a store in Portland. He was persistent on the phone and very gracious, and honestly made me feel like I had a lulu advocate on my side lol. Actually pretty nice to have a Sunday stroll with my wife and 7 month old baby boy and have my shopping experience be so nice. read more

No joke, the best Lululemon store I have ever been to. An employee named Johanna (I think -she wears a high ponytail) was sooooo helpful. Johanna took so much time to find the best tops, bottoms, and bras for my yoga sessions and sadly, when I went to pay my card got denied. Lol I called my bank and they put a security hold on my card since it was a high purchase (c'mon it Lululemon lol). So I went back today and got all my items. I'm not the stereotypical lululemon customer, and I'm so glad I still got outstanding service! This is why you pay a little more, quality and service go a long way instead of cheaper material/quality. Ready to hit my hot yoga sesh, motivated and lookin good! I'm really excited about Lululemon coming to my neighborhood. They're already proving to be a great neighbor and asset for the community, offering a Saturday running club and free yoga on Sundays in June from another favorite local spot, InYoga. Sales staff could not be more friendly and it's nice that they share parking with the big lot behind CVS and Vons. I just tried some of their shorts running the Valley Crest Half Marathon this past Sunday and I love the material! Yay for cool places in Studio City that support an active lifestyle in the community. read more

I give Lily 5 stars for amazing customer service. I came in for repairs on two of my leggings. One pair was fairly new but had a hole in the back already. We went shopping here today. Bad experience. We were looking at some items, when we got bumped into by a guy, twice, making his way between my daughter and me. He didn't even apologize, so, we ended up leaving that area of the store, till the guy finally didn't bother us anymore. I thought it was just a rude customer, and we let it go. After all, we got there to have some great experience shopping and buy some great items. the guy, after a while, comes back to us and asks us if we need help. No name, no "Hi", nothing! like: "Who are you?!", besides the rude guy who bumped into us twice. We let it go again, hoping to start over and get some help. we ended up buying an item that was dirty, so, at the check out, we ask the guy to exchange the product with another one. He said: "Sure, no problem!". Driving back home, in the car, my daughter looks at the item, turns out it was wet, smelling of alcohol or sweat, some strong odor! The main stain was wiped out, but the rest were still there. Yuk and nasty! My daughter was disgusted! I would have let it go, but, it felt we were really lied to, the guy was sneaky. I called the store and asked for the manager. The point is, he agreed to exchange our dirty product with another, clean one, NOT lie to us, by wiping it with some dubious odor wipe and give it back to us WET. Just not OK, overall, bad experience. The products are quite expensive and we don't want to have doubts about what the liquid on the item was...body fluids from another customer, alcohol?! read more

The customer service is phenomenal! The sales team makes you feel like you are the most important person shopping in that store. I am always so impressed with their knowledge and good taste. My boyfriend shops for me there as well, and the sales associates treat him with such special care. I have never been disappointed with any purchase that my boyfriend has bought for me there. I'm giving 3 stars because the girl who helped me was so nice, upbeat, with such a positive attitude, (and can't remember her name)! The manager Erin, on the other hand, cost them the other 2 stars... had it been just her, I would have given only 1 star. Walked in yesterday for some running gear and maybe some yoga stuff. The person who helped was fantastic, attentive, and had even made a comment about a blister she had noticed on my thumb area from kayaking. Not that I think it's important that someone recognizes anything about me, but it was the personalization of the moment. She continued to be helpful, even offering to try and get a stain out of a running top I really liked which happened to be the last one in my size, or offering me a damaged merchandise discount. She brought the manager over, Erin, who surprisingly overruled this. The girl who was helping me was shocked as well, even telling me after she walked away that she would have given it to me. We're talking about a measly 10-15%. Rather, what Erin suggested I do, was to take it home, wash it, and if it still didn't come out then I would get a full refund. Uhh, the last time I've ever had anybody say this to me at ANY business, was you got it....NEVER. This is the kind of thing that will prevent me from ever giving my business to Lululemon again. What happened to keep your customers happy, and take a small, tiny loss so that they will return, with more business and other customers? Apparently, she didn't see and doesn't get the bigger picture. Frustrated, I decided to not get any of the pieces I had decided on. The girl who helped was sorry, and said that's too bad. It really was, but I felt so strongly about giving them my business when all it would have taken was one tiny gesture on their part. read more
