Just booked my cat into cat nap inn. Very clean, very professional. The owner greeted me the door…read moreand then showed me where skitz would be living for the next few weeks. She then went over all the paper work. The care she took to make sure skitz was comfortable was above any other kennel I have used. Will high recommend using cat nap inn Just pick Skitz up. Biggest regret is Yelp only goes to five. 10/5 easily. Amazing the difference in his demeanor over other kennels. Skitz is a 20+ lb cat with no love for anyone or change. He hates brushing. He hates being handled by strangers and sometimes long time household guest. Colleen simple opened his personal area and he jumped down and allowed her to brush him. I was floored. Most of the time I takes years for him to warm up people living in the home. Colleen then went over the types of brushes he responds to the best/ ones not so much. For his stay I got the bird feeder, extra salmon/shrimp treats x3 times a week, as well as the heated bed as Skitz is 10+. Colleen then went over what he liked and didn't like. She said she gave him his extra treats and for some reason he didn't seem to want the salmon or shrimp so she only charged me for x2 as he didn't seem to like it (odd for most cats not Skitz). She said he loved the feeder. Basically cat nap inn is expensive. But, if you love your cat it's beyond worth it. Just on Skitz reaction Colleen went above just basic board/feed/ turn over next person. She went out of her way to see what Skitz needed out of his stay. She didn't just say everything went well and charge me for 10 treats he didn't even want. Would highly recommended cat nap inn.

It's a great place to leave your cat, but having to pay extra for them to play with my cat or give…read morehim attention bothered me a bit. I boarded my cat there often until the time I had to cancel for reasons beyond my control and lost my deposit. I understand that it's hard to fill a vacancy the day before, but surely a long-term, steady customer might be given a pass one time?

So when I picked her up they showed me her tail and said something about a gland. Nothing about the fact that they had cut her tail . Het tail has been oozing all night and day. I was lied to. Nothing like this has ever happened before and my dog has been getting groomed for the last 5 years every month. I do not recommend this place at all!

I visited this store over the weekend, really looking forward to adopting a bird. Before driving an…read morehour, I called ahead to confirm if they had birds for adoption or if it was just a supply store, as I was specifically interested in that. The guy I spoke with said yes, they do have birds for adoption, but didn't clarify much beyond that. I assumed it would be like a Petco-style place where you can meet and adopt birds. When I arrived, I was shocked by how dusty the store was and how poorly maintained the cages looked. The birds' habitats seemed depressing and unsuitable -- definitely not the kind of environment where birds should live. When I asked about adopting a bird, I was told flat out, "THEY ARE NOT FOR ADOPTION." I was confused because didn't I call to ask that? And they said yes? Then I asked, "Neither of them?" He said only two types of birds were actually available for adoption, and those were the same birds you can find at Petco. If I had known this, I wouldn't have driven an hour I was specifically interested in African Grey parrots, which they had but not for adoption and since they are not available at Petco, I thought they would have one there for adoption. We were looking at the birds and we were never told "if you are interested in adopting these are available" which I would've appreciated. I decided to go to Petco after which is 5 min away from my house! and got a jenday conure bird there. Anyway, I ended up buying some sunflower seeds for a bird I already have at home, but he wouldn't eat them, which was weird because those are his favorite. It turned out the bag was expired, which explains why. Overall, this place felt really poorly managed, especially regarding the birds' living conditions. They desperately need better habitats that allow the birds space to stretch their wings and have a more natural, healthy environment. I do not recommend this place.

We are VERY particular about where we leave our dogs when we travel. After looking around at the…read morevarious options in the area we were referred to Dog Townsend by a woman who runs one of the pet food stores. The couple who owns and operates this place is from New York and they have a real love for dogs and a special understanding of how to create a safe, fun and harmonious environment for groups of dogs. In essence it's like a dog park but with a large staff making sure every one plays nice and has a good time. We have left our boys there twice now, the first time for a few days and the second for 16. Both times they have come home tired and happy and pretty stress free. The second time we took them they couldn't wait to get out of the car and go play - it was clear that they have good associations with Dog Townsend and that's what I like to see when I am entrusting them to someone else. In addition to structured play times they offer special little services, like massages and dedicated fetch sessions and nature walks. They'll also clean Fido up if you order the shampoo service. This is helpful! I also love the little daily reports that they fill out so you get a sense of what your little guys have been up to. The staff is across the board nice, warm and truly interested in the dogs. Nice feeling there. Beautiful flock of exotic chickens running around, too. My dogs love watching them. Place is very clean and the play space is a large covered outdoor area that they separate into different playgrounds. They group dogs according to "play tastes". Smaller dogs can be grouped together and over time they figure out who plays well with whom. It's a healthy and fun environment for all the dogs. And the place is just really beautiful. Really a great option for people who love their dogs.

It's quite awesome to see a large group of dogs and no one is barking. They also have a separate area for little dogs and they love to pet and cuddle your dog ( the cuddly ones).
