what a great venue downtown Colorado Springs. It is nice. there are a few seats, but there's lots of standing. Bartenders are nice. Bathrooms are good and usually clean. Nice view of downtown if you feel like looking at the street below. Be careful the stairs if you drink too much that hasn't been a problem for me though. I highly recommend. I've been here a few times since they've relocated. Prices are reasonable just wish they had food options or at least snacks. Overall, no complaints. Very happy with this music venue and with the great talent they bring in from all over the world. I also just read their open for coffee and some food items now. I will have to check that out! It's great to go to music venue and not just a typical bar in Colorado Springs. read more

What a cool spot in Manitou. Was invited to The Jayhawks concert and what a great experience. Lulu's Downstairs is a unique venue and I will definitely be back to catch more concerts or events. The downside to that night was we had made a dinner reservation at their upstairs spot before the concert. They were pretty behind on orders at first we were told the kitchen was only 30minutes behind, and then when we were about to order drinks we were told we couldn't order food at all. Unfortunately we left to get food somewhere else. read more

This review is just for the pizza since I haven't been able to catch a live show yet. However, the pizza is legitimately good. Sticky fingers is sweet and tangy, sweet from the apricot jam, tangy from the goat cheese, and definitely not something you'll find at most (or any?) other pizza joints in town. The White Wedding is probably just fine on it's own, but I've been trying to recreate a favorite pizza from back home and this was a good base. Add some fresh tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, and basil and it's nearly perfect to what I'm craving in a pizza. It's not the cheapest pizza delivery, and they're all 12" pizzas so if you're feeding a crowd expect to spend $$. Mostly I'm just glad to support another local place with good food. read more

Have you ever wanted to feel like you've walked into a David Lynch movie?? This is the perfect place. The vibe is immaculate with top tier service, and I'm just talking about the upstairs bar. If you find yourself wandering the hallways and find yourself in the BEAUTIFUL downstairs show room and bar area you know why LuLus is literally the coolest place you can spend your time. I also heard they do comedy shows regularly which is great because the locals could use a laugh or two. 10/10 will be trying to move in to the place. read more

Great beer choices and craft cocktails, (loved the gimlet fizz). Nice outdoor area, and super-friendly bartender.

So so glad we were brought here by the Passport Program! The atmosphere of the bar is fantastic; the interior is dark and chill, there is a sunroom for a brighter feel, and a deck for an outdoor option! The bar staff are fantastic! We had a great conversation with both of the bartenders when we visited (8/1/2020), and really enjoyed our experience overall. I know things are tough right now with COVID, but I highly recommend this place! read more

We visited Lulu's for a Hayes Carll concert with our two teenage kids. The atmosphere was great with a speakeasy feel since it was below street level. The kids loved that they were welcome. We had a wonderful bartender that chatted with us and made excellent drinks! read more

I'm not sure how long Lulu's Upstairs has been open but they are now serving great pizza! Pizza for foodies with vegan options. I had the Sticky Fingers and it had a wonderful sophisticated sweet and salty combo. My friend had the Zappa which was a little more traditional but way above the quality of standard pizzas. The crust is amazing. Whilethe weather didn't allow for sitting on the patio, and the atrium looks great, We sat at the bar and some great IPO's with our pizza. The place is clean and has a trendy "young" look to match most of the clientele. Yet it has a few retro reminders of The Castaways for those of us old enough to remember and appreciate. Enjoyed the pizza and the experience and will definitely go again soon. read more

What incredible atmosphere, staff, music, and especially the FOOD! Although Lulu's is no longer doing pizza in the upstairs bar, they somehow have topped that excellent pizza with an incredible menu of Japanese Izakaya (pub food). Everything is reasonably priced, and the quality of everything we ate was just incredible! I haven't had anything like it anywhere else, let alone Colorado Springs. I already loved coming here for the music, but the pub style restaurant upstairs will have me coming back much more often. read more

No food! Web references mention pizza, but none to be had. Menu mentioned "snacks," but none of these were available either. Not even a bag of chips. Our waitress suggested we order something via DoorDash, but there was not cell service or wifi in the concert venue. I left the concert early because of hunger. read more

We ate at Lulu's Upstairs as there was no show at the Downstairs tonight. Wow!!! The pizza was outstanding!! We had the Zappa and the White Wedding and both were just perfect! Great crust, good portions, and wonderful toppings. Then we decided to try dessert...do NOT MISS the cookies!! They are listed as vegan, but the guys in our party had no idea and just inhaled them! I'm not even a big fan of cannolis in general, but I still polished off one in no time...yummy!!! I can't wait to come back to see a show, and eat here again...highly recommend!!! read more

We usually alway's have a good experience when we come here, however it seemed like all new staff, and I had ordered a Tito's dirty Martini and was told they did not have the correct utensil's to make my cocktail. (however there is a Martini and a Manhattan on there menu) Ummm okay... so i order a doubled Tito's and soda. It came in a pint glass, would have liked it short, but okay whatever.... The husband asked for a well whiskey and orange juice,again was told no orange juice, how are you guys staying in business? Okay we'll take cranberry then please. Considering we were the only guests here in the upstairs bar at 6pm on a Friday night.. Long story short when we got our bill I was charged for 2 Tito's drinks at 8 dollars each and charged 1 dollars for soda which made my cocktail 17 dollars.. and the husband was charged 7 dollars for his well whiskey and another dollar for his cranberry. I am far from cheap, but being a fellow bartender this is just wrong... 17 dollars for a double is insane!!! Service was nice and the atmosphere is awesome but just very overpriced and untrained staff.. Sorry!! read more
