I'm shocked I've never reviewed this spot before. I've stopped in many times through the years for a drink with either friends or my husband. Idk if I've ever eaten here, so my review is purely for drinks only. The drinks are never weak, the service is always fast, and the ambiance gives dive bar. You can tell there are regulars who absolutely adore this place and I really can appreciate that. The staff is always welcoming and somehow we have always had either a waitress or a bartender make us laugh while here.

This place is ok. The service is hands off and the food was overly salty and average. We dropped by mid afternoon for a late lunch/snacks. Ordering, payment, and any other service other than food being brought out is done at the bar. They forgot our order of scotch eggs. The phish and chips had a very thin layer of fish and a lot of breading. The chips were good. The poutine had too many onions and not enough cheese curds and gravy. The chicken wings were very salty. Overall, the food was fine but nothing to write home about, except maybe the chips. We really liked the chips (aka fries).

    Reuben poppers absolutely delicious!

Best Irish Pub in town! The food and staff are absolutely phenomenal and the owner Scottie has to be the hardest working guy I've ever met!

We have been wanting to try this place out thinking it closed at 8 per info. on a Friday night was odd. We arrive 6:45 & place was packed out. Two seats left at the bar & ask about closing hours. Got a laugh & they close when ever they finish like we hours in the morning Tried the Scottish egg. I never had one where the outside was not crispy & the egg was cold. Everyone makes them different but not my favorite. The Ruben sandwich with crispy fries was Awesome & drinks were tasty too! Looking forward to trying other delicious items!

Go thru patio but gotta check out the door!

Stop by for happy hour and stay for food! We were visiting Manitou Springs and happy we stumbled upon this delish food. Try the Beet Scotch Eggs. Great bartender.

Fun little dive bar, wish they poured Guinness properly. Haven't eaten here, but always a fun nighttime scene.

When the food came, however, only disappointment followed. It started with them being out of the only thing I wanted, but I found other things. Those other things were all ruined in some way or another. The pretzel was the only thing that was decent was the pretzel and beer cheese, but I wonder if it was frozen and just had to be heated up anyway. The tomato soup was also a hit with my son. Very small serving, so small my 6 year old needed a second bowl, and complained that he was hungry when he was done. My other son got the poke bowl which was also such a small serving that he was still hungry. He said it was alright, but he wouldn't choose to have it again. This kid LOVES poke so that really says something. I got a side salad and the ranch tasted rancid, so I got another dressing they had, which was also disappointing and ruined my salad I left behind. There were more mishaps, but ultimately, the meal ended up costing more than it was worth, and everybody was hungry when we left. The only thing that was actually tasty was the crème brûlée. This might be a good place to come for drinks, but I would not recommend this place for food. This was a $90 meal that was worth about $5. I wish I had my time back. We will not be going back. I would not recommend the food.

My husband asked to have another table and she seemed happy to accommodate. The place was nearly empty after all. The vibe is pretty cool. It has cool old-timey brick walls and a tin ceiling ... Colorado mountain town feel for sure. Our server was friendly and professional. We ordered and got our drinks fairly quickly. My bloody mary was enjoyable. I ordered the breakfast quesadillas. They had a good amount of filling, eggs, crispy bacon, onion, pico de gallo. I asked for a side of extra pico. I was surprised that they don't have a salsa. Oh well. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito. It's his standard order. He says that of all the breakfast burritos he's eaten ... and it's an impressive amount ... this one was the best ever. The green chili that it was smothered in had a bit of heat which appreciated. The burrito was very generously stuffed. Best. Breakfast Burrito. Ever. WOW. That's quite the compliment. The prices were decent. Service quick. Food great. We'll be back.

This weekend though, I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was one of my favorites, check the previous photos, it was AMAZING! This time, with the new menu, I would not ever order them again. The chicken was a not close to what it used to be or could be on a sandwich and be worthy to serve, it less than a 1/2in thick including the breading, the small waffles were soggy, and it was just unappetizing to look at on top of it. The syrup saved it, but that's saying a lot as it's just syrup... I really was looking forward to the chicken and waffles that used to be here as that was the entire reason for brunch here today, and I'll not order this again if this is what it is now. The steak Benedict was great though and well enjoyed by my wife, she loved it and the steak was perfectly cooked. We've been here 15-20 times and this was the only disappointing time since the ownership change or whatever took place. Unfortunate as we love it here, but this was not at the level it was before.

If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.
