I also cant stand the subpar hygiene practices that can come with going to just any nail salon- double dipped wax applicators, no gloves, and cloth covered procedure tables jump to mind right away. None of that flies here. I started seeing Angela a few years ago at another wax center and I am so excited that she has made the leap to launching her own business! She is spotlessly clean and consistently does excellent work. Angela gets as excited about beautiful eyebrows as I do and truly cares about giving you the best brows for your face. When I first came in I kept asking for thinner, arched brows. After several months of coming in religiously, we were able to achieve a strong arch in my thick, straight Greek brows. Now that I have that we can go a little thinner and not lose the shape. Not to sound crazy but I feel so much better about my face now. I trust her so much that I now get some extra body waxing taken care of as well- something I never thought I would be able to do as a furball. I tried getting a Brazilian once beforehand by another waxer that used subpar wax, and it was not fun times. But as I keep going my hair is getting thinner and finer, so it's not a problem at all. Appointments are necessary but it's so easy to set one up- you can call or text to do so, and she's very accommodating to what time you need. Her prices are REALLY reasonable- and either cash or credit card is fine. For right now Angela only offers waxing and microblading, but look towards more skincare services in the future as well.

What stood out to me the most was watching another customer sitting next to me receive a completely different experience. Her pedicure technician warmly greeted her, handed her the menu book, and offered her complimentary beverages. I was never offered a drink or told refreshments were available. I've been to a few salons in New York City (Manhattan) that charged even more than this one in Long Island (Bayshore), but the customer service was exceptional. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel welcomed and appreciated, and you understand exactly why you're paying those prices. If you're going to charge luxury prices here on Long Island, the service should reflect that. Luxury pricing should come with a luxury experience! Each room is private so you are not in one big room with 10 other half naked girls which I love - the privacy and comfort. There's nice relaxing zen/massage music playing in the room and you have the option of lights on or lights off. Lights off is way more soothing while laying down!!
