I had just moved to Garden City and hadn't found a make up artist yet , so after my blow dry at the salon they offered me a complimentary make up refresher with Melissa. I was in a time crunch and asked her to just do my whole face. I was sooooo nervous, but WOW she slayed it!!! I looked like a movie star! I was so sad to find out she only had 2 weeks left working at the salon because she was having a baby. So I got her cell and later asked her if I could come to her house out east for make up. She welcomed me no problem and was so affordable! From then on I drove from Garden City to Smithtown just to have her do my make up (that's how much i loved it! ) And now years later she has a great home business and I have sent her wedding parties, booked her for the models of my photos shoots for my bag line, etc! She is just the best! Highly recommend !!!!

But regardless of having good experiences at other salons, I knew Caterina would be the only one who would cut my hair the way I liked it best. I'm so glad I was FINALLY able to make the time to see her. The salon is beautiful. There's a closet for coats and belongings. They have these great leather, curved chairs for the shampooing station which are SUPER comfortable. They also have beverages and snacks available. Caterina took FOUR inches off my hair. The length I was left with was PERFECT. She also did a beautiful blow out (see photo). I would definitely go back just for the blowout next time I have an event. Cost for a cut/blowout for my thick/long hair was $55, which is pricier than other salons, but so worth it for me. I only cut my hair 1-2x/year and I much rather pay a little more knowing I'll be 110% happy with the results.

Salon A accepted customers not wearing a mask,. She personally said to me that she thought the whole Covid Pandemic was nonsense, and she thought people were just sick. I stopped going, as I found her to be a bit of a health hazard. There is much more to being a good hair stylist then putting color on your hair. To me, this takes much more. Go at your own risk - and make sure you wear a mask, for your own protection. God bless $$

I found this salon through social media and was immediately impressed by the work they shared so I contacted a stylist about booking an appointment and was told to come in for a consultation. I came in for my consultation to speak about what color I was interested in doing and the possibility of some extensions. After showing the stylist the color I wanted (i'll include the picture) I was quoted $370 for cut and color alone, at that point I made a quick decision and said F it i deserve this and booked the appointment. 2 days later after a full 8 hour shift, an hour and a half drive to the salon, and 4 hours in the chair I was BEYOND disappointed with the way it came out. Don't get me wrong the salon itself and the energy and the people working there are great but I am not the type of person to sit there and complain about the 4 hours of work someone had just done and was seemingly so proud of (as i believe most people can agree they would also bite their tongue in a situation like this) I would have said something had I known sooner than after the blowout, but when I'm sitting in a salon chair with no mirror in front of me for hours while 2 rounds of bleach are going on my head and I had no idea what it looked like the whole process what else am I meant to do but trust the stylist. So it wasn't until AFTER the blowout that I realized this was NOT AT ALL the color I had asked for. But I put a smile on my face and walked out the door after paying $370, went home and just cried over what I had just spent over half my paycheck on and now have to pay a different salon to fix because I refuse to go back to this place because I simply don't trust them..

She does not cut more then necessary to get the job done so a trim is truly a trim, which I have found to be rare. I leave her chair feeling beautiful. Also, the vibe of the salon is awesome- very warm and friendly. As if that's not enough- you can even enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. Seriously? I've found my place- couldn't be happier!

The weekend before my appointment, they called to say they were able to move my appointment to the Sunday for my wife's actual birthday. I declined as we already scheduled other plans for the Sunday, but i did express my gratitude for them trying to accommodate the special occasion. For the spa visit, they were welcoming when we arrive and the massage specialists we had were excellent. They confirmed any body areas that needed special attention and then the appropriate amount of pressure. My wife also said she enjoyed her massage. It was a very good experience. We had our own room and after everything was done the package also included champagne and chocolates so we sat and had those at the end before we left the room. I walked in needing a massage after a rough night's rest, and the masseuse I was paired with was excellent--skilled, professional, and exactly what I was looking for. I immediately looked forward to making weekly appointments with her, even adjusting my schedule to fit hers. She confirmed her availability, the front desk confirmed, and we were set. However, on the day of my next appointment, I arrived on time only to find I had been switched to another masseuse without any notice or explanation. This was brushed off as a "minor mistake," despite the fact that the schedule was agreed upon by all three parties--myself, the front desk, and the masseuse. This is not a good first impression, and it shows a lack of communication and consideration for clients' time. If you choose this location, I strongly suggest double-checking your appointments in advance. Personally, I will be taking my business elsewhere where communication and professionalism are taken more seriously.
