It's located on one side of this shopping plaza, next to a nail shop. Stopped by to grab some to go. It's busy for Saturday brunch. Got a spicy omelette with a side of cottage cheese, English muffin, a George Reuben with sauerkraut added to it and a Greek salad with feta on the side. $44.52 I noticed that they carried the delight brand flavored creamer. My husband would enjoy coming here for brunch to dine in. They only have the Smucker's brand jam though. Food takes about 10 minutes to be made. The food was out in less than 10 minutes. A couple staffers I dealt with seemed friendly enough. The turkey Rueben sandwich was ok, but it was quite messy. The bread was soft, so that didn't help either. The turkey is thinly processed deli meat, so that could always be better. The Greek salad was average, nothing special. Not a big fan of iceberg lettuce in my salad much. At least they have the pink (beet infused( Greek dressing. The spicy omelet was very basic. Nothing special about it. It fills you up. read more

The service is excellent. However, while I've visited several times, I judge their brunch to be average at best. They use hollandaise out of jug and the grilled veggies are steamed then grilled to warm them up. If you order basic diner fare, the food is decent and a good value. As I don't live in the state, I don't know many other places but I would be sad if this was the best go-to place in my neighborhood for brunch. It's basic not special. read more

Everyone was feeling lazy this morning and didn't want to make breakfast, so we decided to stop by here. This place is small and it's packed, for a very good reason! The food is good and it's affordable. The 3 egg breakfast was a steal. Bacon, sausage, ham, 3 eggs and toast. It was plenty of food for 2 people. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the home fries were crispy and delicious. The service was beyond good. It was so good I was excited to come home and write this review. I didn't get her name, but the waitress with the blonde hair goes above and beyond for this place! I was really impressed with how much she pays attention to everyone's orders and requests. I can't believe I had never been to Lulu's until this weekend! Hands down my new favorite go-to for breakfast! I had the portabella Benedict that was on special- perfectly cooked mushrooms and eggs, with a delicious hollandaise sauce! The staff is friendly, attentive and the place is clean and so welcoming! Walked in here with my family. Myself, my husband and my 3 kids. My oldest has autism and has MANY food aversions and we rarely ever go out to eat as a whole family because of that. We took a small Tupperware of pasta with us into Lulu's for him. We were immediately told that no outside food was allowed. My husband went to the waitress/ hostess and explained to them the situation and they still said no. I understand if it was a chain restaurant with corporate rules but a community restaurant that doesn't accommodate/ support the community is just garbage behavior. I will never support and I will make sure that everyone I come across knows not to as well. read more

Stopped by for breakfast with daughter. She ordered French toast. I ordered an omelette with a side of grits and sausage. Food was fresh and the service was fast. Location had been updated since my last visit. I really enjoyed everything. The servers were polite and attentive. One young lady checked on us about a dozen times....LoL! Lulu's was middle of the road for me. We had the fish and chips and Chicken Gyro with fries where the food was cooked very well but was a bit bland for my tastes. Friendly staff with good service and a nice old school Diner vibe. Business was hopping while we were there as there was a wait to get in. Clearly based on this and the YELP reviews it is a well received and a well run/managed business. I may be an outlier here but for me when I go out I always look for very flavorful food and in this instance that was not to be. read more

We went here for NYE brunch. Very cute place indeed. Reminds me of an upscale Coney Island type of restaurant. Food was good, yes, but the service was very odd. Hovering to refill waters and / or coffees was a bit excessive and it kind of ruined our dining experience. We didn't have to wait for a table long, so that was a plus, especially for being NYE. The omelettes had gooey warm cheese, which often doesn't occur in restaurant type omelettes. I recommend the omelettes for sure and they have several to choose from. read more

The food is good here. However, tonight two kids in our group ordered chicken tenders. One basket had 3 tenders and the other had 2. We mentioned that we were missing a tender. The response was that it only comes with two but will get three if they are smaller tenders. This would normally make sense however the 3 tender basket were actually a larger size tenders than the two tender basket. So the response really did not make sense. To add, the last time we went here which was a week ago, there were three tenders in the basket. Anyway, we asked for one more tender and that we would pay for it since they were so small. But we were told they couldn't even do that. The fact that they couldn't give us one more chicken tender, although really dumb, is enough reason for me not to want to come here again. Be consistent with how many tenders are in your baskets. And be a little more accommodating to customers in the future. read more

A very busy Saturday morning about 1045. This Lulu's is so efficient it wasn't even a 5 minute wait until we had been offered a comfortable booth to dine in. Our server-(Nicole I believe)-already had a cup of coffee and creamers at the ready. This place is so well known and rated in tiny Commerce Township!! Did I mention there wasn't a chair open-as soon as diners were finished, dishes were removed by one person and waitstaff cleaned and disinfected-new customers ushered in! Service by our team member was equally impressive! I asked for recommendations and then spotted the corned beef hash which is a favorite of mine. It came with two eggs cooked to choice, home, fries, and toast!! It was spectacular, the corn beef hash was cooked on a griddle, so was nicely crusted !!! Everything I was served was delicious. My guess is that many, many, menu items, are favorites of those that frequent Lulu's. Something I managed to get some pictures of was the Incredibles French toast. It was absolutely beautiful and evidently delicious and also such a huge portion of everything it was impossible to eat it all, so was take it home for an evening snack. We were all big coffee drinkers and many of the team stopped by for multiple warm ups until we cried "YELP"!! Lulu's is located in a strip mall plenty of parking but be prepared to hunt because it's at lots of seating inside and generally during times you would expect it to be busy it is !!! Would we come back again? In a heartbeat in fact, this would be a total to go place for us if it was located near where we lived, ......but when we get back here (which we do a couple times of the year) we now have a solid place for breakfast and will probably try lunch and dinner too. Where do I begin? Let me say that I've always had great service from the servers. The food is very good. The problem I have? The owner... Victor. He's an extremely unprofessional clown and treats patrons like cattle. Get'em in, get'em out. He walks up to regular patrons... paying customers in the middle of their conversation and says, "You time is up, you have to leave. We need this table." Sad, because his employees are very nice and professional. This affects their tips and environment while serving the customers he's kicking out. I expressed how unprofessional and unkind his words and behavior were and he couldn't have cared less. I told him he needs to learn customer service skills and be kind to people. He still didn't care. After he did this to my friend and I, I gave my server a $10 dollar tip on a $40 tab. It's not her fault Victor is a no-skill clown that owns the place. She deserves better for a boss. We deserved better as patrons. My suggestion to all future patrons is to call ahead and ask if the clown is working. If he's not, go enjoy the staffs great service and food. If he is working, make yourself some hamburger helper at home... because eating that trash at home is better than dealing with trash behavior from owner Victor V. read more

Their Greek omelettes are the best I have ever had and they are just perfect with the side of tzatziki sauce and toasted pita. The classic diner experience with a bit of Deli on the side. My wife & I had lunch here recently. Both sandwiches were bulging with meat & filling, yum. Although the place was packed, we were served our food in less than 10 minutes. The place has lots of windows with great A/C. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. This used to be a favorite place. In the past, I really looked forward to coming here with family. But lately, actually starting pre-pandemic so that is not the factor in this review, I have been disappointed after eating here. To start, I noticed they refused doing substitutions. When we go to similar restaurants, they still allow substitutions (we would not even mind paying for an upgrade). For instance, we love getting omelettes with a side of pancakes. Most places have that option. But they told us we had to buy an order of pancakes separate. They told us we could no longer make substitutions that did not appear on the menu, like the pancakes. Another thing I noticed is that the portions seemed smaller but the prices have been raised a couple times more recently. That makes it more difficult to chose this place over similar restaurants that have lower prices and allow for substitutions. The quality of the food seemed to have gone down hill compared to my past here experiences here as well. I am sorry to say I am quite disappointed. We had a chicken gyro which was small. We had an order of chocolate chip pancakes. They were very mediocre, and the full order was still small, I finished them which I rarely do at any restaurant. I almost always have leftovers no matter where I do. We also had the corned beef hash plate. That was delicious, the hash was very tasty, and the toast just right, but again, the entire plate was finished while normally we are not able to eat the entire portion. In the area we do have some good deli, coney, and breakfast restaurants that I frequent. So unless something changes, this will probably not be first on the list anymore due to price, portion, and quality of the food. read more

Great food! This is my favorite, easy diner when you don't feel like cooking. They have really good grilled chicken and their Greek salad dressing is the best!! I am also a big fan of their sweet potato fries. All my friends also love Lulus, and they swear they have the best ranch. They also have generous portions. Every time I have been there the staff is really nice. My family & extended family & friends all loveD this Coney Island. I live in Cali and lulu's is always a staple visit for us. They truly have great food & usually decent service BUUUT apparently the service has been going downhill. My family warned us not to go but my husband & I decided to take our kids for breakfast anyway. Wow, today was a terrible experience! We sat down at 10:40A. They brought out our food super fast. By 11:07, with forks in all our hands, our waitress came and asked if we wanted boxes. My daughter was still eating and they were clearing the table. This is absurd behavior. The best Greek dressing around! No seriously, there is something completely different but absolutely delicious absolutely the Greek dressing at Lulu's. Get a Greek salad, with chicken and order it chopped. You pay a little more for the chopped but you get more, a small is plenty! Lulu's is also a great spot for breakfast, they have some delicious omelettes. The interior is bright, modern and very clean. Staff are seasoned, friendly and work hard. Lulu's is a nice little diner in Commerce, MI. I've been to Lulu's a handful of times for Saturday morning brunch with friends, and each time has been a positive experience. It doesn't look like anything fancy from the outside, but it has a familiar and comforting feel inside. The restaurant itself is pretty quiet, and the crowd tends to be a mix of families and senior citizens, but it's all very nice and adds to the pleasant experience. The menu offers the standard Coney Island fare, with a good amount of diner food, greek food, and breakfast options. My favorite thing about Lulu's is how expansive the breakfast section of the menu actually is! Even with regard to omelettes and other eggs, there are tons of potential options which is actually quite refreshing after having been to so many breakfast joints that only offer basic takes on the usual selections. Keto /Paleo/ Low carb folks: the best power move at Lulu's: The Protein Package. Yes, it sounds like something you'd expect to see a gym bro carrying around with their gallon of milk and Blender Bottle, but it's actually a ton of food for the price, and meets (lots of self-control to not write meats) exactly what you need for your diet.
