Despite this, they withheld most my security deposit and tried to charge me for furniture that was never even provided in the unit. This wasn't an isolated incident of poor service -- I had requested replacement curtains after mine fell apart, and it took the agency over a year to follow through. Communication was consistently unresponsive and unprofessional throughout my tenancy. What makes this worse is that I now own a rental property myself. Having seen how this company treats tenants, I would never use them -- not as a renter, and not as an owner looking for a property management company. Every landlord I've ever had before had strict rules--fines or even eviction after repeated complaints. Moral of the story: if you rent here, prepare to live next to the worst of the worst. There are no rules, no consequences, and reckless living is completely unchecked. I'm setting up security cameras to document what I've been dealing with from these inconsiderate neighbors. My plan is to share the footage publicly so people can see exactly what I've had to go through. Over time, with enough evidence, I hope to take legal action against them for disturbing the peace, disrupting my sleep, and preventing me from enjoying my own home. Whenever I had questions, her responses came across as impatient and unpleasant rather than helpful. What stood out the most was the difference between her and the rest of the staff. Every other employee we interacted with was friendly, professional, patient, and respectful. Even though they weren't managers, they provided far better customer service and made us feel comfortable asking questions. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial transactions a person will ever make. Customers should never feel talked down to or made to feel like they're inconveniencing someone by asking for clarification.
