    Pizza & Chinese chicken salad

3-4:30 Happy Hour! Yes please! Fantastic food & drinks at a great price. We highly recommend the margarita pizza. Really good! Chinese chicken salad was excellent. Service was good & efficient. Ambiance is great, so smartly decorated.

I came here for a work lunch with my colleagues mid-week. I enjoyed one of their mocktails and to eat I had the stead sandwich and salad. My drink was fantastic! It was very refreshing and reminded me of a pina colada. My steak sandwich was good, but could've benefited from greens to cut through the heaviness of the meat, bread, and cheese. The salad was also overdressed and very salty. That being said, we were a large group and they did a good job serving all of us! I feel like some of the challenges were just due to timing versus standard service. Overall, it's a nice spot!

Nice little 3oz cup for my soda.

We have always liked Luma, the location and resturant is great. Every time we have gone it just seems to get a bit worse with the food. ‍ They were pretry busy ob the patio and seemed a little under staffed, I ordered a diet soda and got a regular one and weirdly a 3oz glass to drink it out of so I had to ask for an actual cup. This time we went for lunch, the beet salad was Great! I ordered a burger, we have gotten their burgers before and they were always good but this time the bun was hard, like maybe it was a little stale and the meat to bread ratio was SO OFF It looked like a single patty smash burger. We might have made our last trip to Luma. As soon as they changed from the steak fries to skinny fries it started to impress less and less every time we've gone.

This place was actually better than I imagined it to be. The was good but what really amazed me was the hospitality from the staff. Made me and the other guests feel like we were eating at a five star restaurant.

Great seared tuna salad! The tuna was so fresh it didn't need any added seasoning. Definitely add avocado, worth it. Service was excellent. Located right near the river but no river views. The dollar general right next door kills the upscale vibe as well. The bar was beautiful, but the rest of the wall decor did not match the vibe they're going for. Lamb meatballs- Do not recommend. The lamb had a nice spice to it, and the sauce had a faint sweetness. Mushroom gnocchi- Very rich. Mushrooms were delicious. Gnocchi was fluffy but a touch undercooked, could see uncooked flour in the middle. Lavender lemonade mocktail- No good. Couldn't taste the lavender, and the lemonade was definitely the bottled lemon juice. Greek flatbread- Crispy bottom crust, fluffy top crust.

Ambience, food, service. We went on a night they were having a cool, art extravaganza, DJ, Drinks flowing(love their stemware) art production, Tasha the GM mingled with guest making sure all were having a good time. Indeed. We arrived prior to event. We started with Pinot Noir wine, then a golden goddess salad that was spectacular, they use escarole lettuce and roasted, small put mighty roasted peas, fascinating, the dressing was the right vinegar, olive oil ratio & herbs(tarragon, an underrated herb). The burger arrived with another side of delicious salad. I love my greens. Then the pièce de résistance, their FRENCH FRIES, yes worthy of all caps. Cut perfectly, crispy outside, smooth, mash potato consistency inside, Michelin Star worthy, hell Yeah! Oh forgot comes with aioli(not overpowering garlic & ketchup too). And yes another glass of Pinot was in order. We decided on a chocolate dessert with an intriguing sesame toffee on top. This wasn't my favorite, I believe they can do better, perhaps a lava cake, or chocolate torte (not so inventive, but a sure thing) and the toffee was more chewy than crispy. Luma has the most beautiful bar, good food & drinks and lots of special events. Get on their mailing list because I know they have more planned.

I had the braised artichokes, focaccia bread and roasted chicken with fingerling potatoes and Morrell sauce. I finished it off with a blood orange sorbet. My entire meal was delicious from beginning to end. I'll get pictures of the food next time. I was too busy digging in to get a picture. I recommend coming here! I just hope they bring back that mezzanine board. It looks amazing, Service was friendly. They didn't let me down at all.

This spot is such a nice location for friends, girls' lunches, or even a casual date night. The ambiance feels modern and relaxed, with a great view right along the river that is perfect for a laid-back meal with good company. I came here for lunch with my family and we had a party of six. We started with the mini mezza appetizer, then ordered a mix of entrees: steak and frites, the soup of the day (corn chowder), cheeseburger, Greek flatbread, black cod, and gnocchi. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their meals, but my favorite by far was the steak and frites. I ordered it rare and it came out perfectly -- soft, juicy, and paired with a chimichurri sauce that was absolute perfection. There weren't any complaints from our group, and to top it off, since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant surprised us with a rich chocolate fudge brownie on the house. Such a sweet touch and a great way to end the meal! Overall, this place checks all the boxes, great food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. As a local South Bay girly, I think it is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a spot to enjoy good food and vibes by the river (I still think about the steak every now and then)!

I went to Luma for the first time with my friends a couple days ago. Beautiful simplistic interior with an extensive bar. The service was great with very kind servers and hostess. My food was ok I got a caesar salad and the dressing had very little flavor but if you like light dressings it's for you! I also got the dreamsicle drink which was delicious. It's on the pricier side as well, I would maybe come back just for the drinks!

Went back and loved it again. Great service, great ambiance, super nice people. The appetizer of Calamari and veggies was superb. I really liked my Fatoush Salad, lot of healthy things and very delicious. Highly recommended!

One of our regular go-to restaurants. Always excellent food and service. Inventive cocktails. Delicious apps and main courses: love that they do late night dance parties and live music too.

Such a cute and beautiful restaurant right next to the river. My friend and I went after work on a Wednesday there was plenty of seats. We ordered the risotto balls, margarita, pizza, and fries and a French 75. I ended up asking to be moved from inside to outside and they were very accommodating. Staff was super friendly checked on me continuously and I love their outside patio area right next to the bridge across from Brewsters and you can see the boats on the river, great place to people watch, take your friends, family, do some work. and have a solo date. I'll definitely be back.

Service - the gal behind oysters bar was very skilled, very informative, and kept the food comin'. She created I wish I could call her out by name but it wasn't on the receipt that was texted to me. Food - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was an 11! * Lemonade was had good lemon taste and just the right acid/sugar balance. I learned that a batch is made each day, and occasionally two. The best I've had anywhere in Sonoma County or Marin County! * I order the first three items on the oyster list (this time two of each) and came up with a new favorite. Then I added four more to the favorite. At 81 I don't do well on short term memory! I love that what was done so right was the lemon and the mignonette (sp?) sauce that was exactly balanced. The last restaurant in Ptown and two absolutely terrible with a red and a white. * Next I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail. They screamed fresh, perfectly boiled that let the shrimp flavor out, and again the red sauce was perfectly balanced between flavor and heat. Had to made in house. And they just nicely crisply cool, not in a cold place that overwhelms the flavor. I don't think I've every had one this good! * Next was a pair of fried oysters. I was prepared for some oily, bready things that would ruin all of the above. BUT NO, the perfect balance was incredible!! * Last was the clam chowder. I'm soooo fussy about this after growing up in the NorthEast (Connecticut) and 4 years of college in Maine blew this one away. It lacked the perfection and freshness of my East Coast standard. But I finished with the last of lemonade and all was well. My standard has never been "perfect." I don't meet that standard, so the chef shouldn't have to either. Hey, maybe he's never been in Maine! P.S. there's not section for this, because the above doesn't happen without OWNERS that create processes and hire people that and buy the best incredients. Kudos, gals!!

The bar and the dining room area appeared very modern and clean. Started our meal with the Gochujang glazed cauliflower wings and they were phenomenal! Beneath the deliciously flavored glaze was a crunchy fried cauliflower that maintained its veggie tenderness! The allium dip was a bonus because it elevated the flavor to another dimension. This was definitely one of our favorite items of the night! The Parker rolls were served with a homemade butter and they were light and airy which made them pair nicely with the fresh golden beet salad. They served a very generous portion of lettuce and added all kinds of goodies in it- the burrata, pumpkin seeds , homemade french bread croutons , tomatoe and beets lightly coated with the balsamic dressing - yum! Scooping both halves was the best of both worlds. The dip was smooth and great flavors, I would get this again. Then when the entrees came out, and we started eating, half way throught both items were quite heavy and we started to feeling full. The beef Wellington was cooked to a medium consistency, the crust as still firm and mushroom filing great. The oxtail was so tender, it falls off the bone. A different flavoring but fantastic. We ended up taking the oxtail home as it would be diffcult to reheat beef Wellington. No room for dessert. It felt like mostly repeat locals dining here as they chatted with the wait staff a lot, but feel this deserve the hour drive to get here. Salad was good, nice mix of greens. A little wet for my taste if I'm choosing but I'm also not complaining, it was yummy. The potatoes were a perfect dish to come with the salad since otherwise it didn't have a crunch element. This is the first time I've gotten the collar and it was as meaty as it is. I've ordered at other restaurants before and it was not as successful of a dish as here. Loved the sauce and flavors on it. It was kinda sticky due to the sauce but I mean that in a good way, to add to the flavor and overall balance of texture and flavor The snapper lettuce wraps were also yummy! Kind of laborious to get the fish to eat ready but worth the effort, same with the collar too, but also worth the "work" to get the meat off the bones. The snapper has a lot of pin bones but otherwise really yummy bite. The rock wall in the alley creates a whole vibe with the lights and such. It is also one of the oldest walls in Petaluma, which is pretty cool. Slim menu but excellent. The restaurant is tiny, like 6 tables. Being on the patio was nice, more room. I appreciated the option of having a more low-key option to a sit down restaurant when I was having a rare night out with friends.

What an awful experience. I like giving 5 star reviews because recognizing good people is…read moreunderrated these days, but this one doesn't deserve one. I'm not a local. Shouldn't matter. Definitely not a welcoming place ONLY because of the staff. People there were very cool to me and my friend, but as a female, the female staff were the absolute rudest possible. What an awful attitude and experience. Wow. I even had the real "pleasure" to talk to a couple girls that were there but off that night (employed there, sadly). Their pretentious attitudes wouldn't make it anywhere with any class... but apparently they get away with discrimination just fine. Outright discrimination and bullying. I won't describe here why, but ladies... if people there talk to you... they won't like you, because you take from their tips?! Apparently. The female bartenders I met are horrendous bullies. They seem like they never got out of high school. I literally cried there. Yea, not cool as a grown woman. Shame on them. So my kind message to them... if you want better for your lives and are THAT miserable to treat a human being or any life that way, DO better. Just do better for yourselves, and for the sake of others.

Not a review for the place just for patrons to be respectful…read more Just fyi to those who are making a song request......Please do NOT ask more than once. This place is request friendly but If the dj has the song/video, then maybe he will play it maybe not. Do no agitate the dj and say he his rude. He has a set he needs to play based on bpms. One patron kept insisting on a song and wouldn't stop. He wasn't drunk. Just a spoiled kid. He even had his friend ask twice. So please be mindful to not make the dj mad.
