Had the lobster ravioli special last night! To die for! Fresh spinach cooked to perfection with a brandy cream sauce that was so rich in flavor!! This restaurant nails it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! My husband and I just went here for dinner for our anniversary. It was the one of the best meals we have ever had. Everything was delicious. We got the steak tip app. It was so good my husband wanted to lick the plate. We got the lobster ravioli and veal piccata it was amazing. The service was amazing out waitress Christine was so nice and so helpful it was so hard to decide what to get. She also gave us a complimentary shot for our anniversary . We just had celebrated Mother's Day at this restaurant. We loved the decorations, all those cool black and white photos. Than we got our drinks, we had red sangria, very fruity taste even though not much fruit in it. The servers weee very kind, and helpful patient in many ways. Then our food came. I wanted to like this place and in fairness the food was good, not great, but good, however the real issue was the service. I understand it's a Covid environment but you still shouldn't have to wait 30 min for a water glass, after you've asked for one three times, you shouldn't have to wait 25 min after you order a drink for it to come and you shouldn't have to wait 45 min before someone actually comes to your table to give you specials and see if you want an app, never mind ordering entrees. This was on a Sat night and we had reservations so it's not like we caught them at a bad time, and the place was half full due to Covid so they were not overwhelmed. We've ordered the "Feed the Family" deal twice now, and it has quickly become our family favorite. Each item comes in a huge tray alongside homemade bread and dipping oil - all for only $50! Last night we dined outside, socially distanced and loved our experience. The cocktails were generous, the food presentation beautiful and all our choices were delicious! My butternut squash and lobster ravioli was over the top! The saltimbocca was a standout too! Save room for dessert, I recommend the homemade tiramisu and Cannoli. First of all, let me start by saying I understand how hard restaurants have been struggling throughout the pandemic and I really do not like to leave poor reviews anywhere unless I have a very bad experience. This was bad! Went for brunch, three of us ordered an egg white omelet that was $15. It was brought out on an appetizer plate with no accompaniments and was maybe 4x6". We kindly mentioned to our waitress that perhaps it should come with accompaniments or something and she said she'd pass along the feedback. A woman, who I'm assuming was the owner, brought out bread and home fry potatoes, which was nice, but she had an attitude while doing so. When accidentally charged for the potatoes, yet again even more attitude and patronizing comments and just terrible customer service in general. I can't say I've ever had a restaurant owner speak to me the way she did. We will not return based on that. Way too many great options in Fairfield with kind and appreciative management that I would much rather support! *I will say that our actual waitress was nice and professional... none of this was her fault! read more

I am a self employed builder in Fairfield and I needed to meet my Electrian to wire a generator cord for my daughter. He was at Electrical wholesalers picking up materials. He said he was going to grab lunch locally and we would meet so he can wire cord for me. I drove through Fairfield center and could'nt believe the amount of people in Duchess and other surrounding eateries. I know I got takeout from Craft 260 before, so I pulled in there. When I walked to door they didn't open till 3:30. I then seen a gentleman eating in an area with about 8 tables outside and looked good. I went inside and asked women for menu, she said they started to carry grinders. So I ordered two steak and cheese grinders and they were supposed to come with fries. We were fixing my electrical cord with my Electrian and she came out and asked if we wanted salad or pasta side because they had no potato's. We said no grinder was fine, we get food and two drinks, she bills us and it was 17.85. We couldn't eat at Duchess for that. Me and my friend agreed it was probably the best steak and cheese grinder we ever had. The server picked up our beverages because of no side orders. We sat out side by ourselves a hidden covid secret. I almost didn't want to leave review, because they will get too busy. But in these time they deserve it. Thanks A+ read more
