Visited last year when spending son time in the springs, returning this year I decided to grab a friend and do a package consisting of a float, ir sauna and salt cave experience. Just like last year, the spa was very clean, let us move through our treatments unhurried, and was a complete pleasure.

My partner and I went to Luna Float spa on a Sunday night. We own a small business and I was very grateful they were open because it was our first day off in a couple months. This was our first float and we will definitely do it again. At 60 minutes my mind was just starting to relax. Next time I'll book it for 90. We also enjoyed the sauna after. I had the best nights sleep after this. Courtney showed us the salt room and was pretty awesome to talk to.

What a unique and cool experience! I've already told friends about our great time at Luna Float Spa. We had a couple's package which featured a float, infrared sauna and salt cave. The floating is the most unique experience. You're in this pod that helps keep our noise and light. There you are floating in a solution of epsom salt. It's so quiet. I found myself really having to let go and embrace the calm. We are surrounded by noise all the time. The time in the pod was the first time in years that I didn't have my chronic back pain. I'd go back just for that relief. We had never been in an infrared sauna before. It was great. No musty smells or humidity. Even with the temp set at 130° it wasn't unbearable. The salt cave... That was cool. I definitely didn't know what to expect. It was a small room that was surrounded on all sides by pink Himalayan salt. Even underfoot was crushed salt. There were "zero gravity" loungers to sit on. It was dimly lit and tranquil. There's a machine that dispenses micro salt particles into the air. I fell asleep it was so calming. We met one of the owners, Courtney, he was great. He showed us around and explained all the processes. He was such a kind host.

Wow! How fun! Such an amazing experience and im so glad I did it. The saunA, float pool, and salt cave were all so needed and worth it. Different from your typical spa day. I loved every minute of each service!

This salt cave is absolutely lovely! We've been to a few different ones. Friendly service, easy to book, nice privacy, stunning cave! Kid friendly! That was very important to me. Me and my son enjoyed an hour in the cave. It was so relaxing and I felt amazing after. FYI bathrooms are outside and upstairs, so go before you take off your shoes and such. A tad tricky to find, a bigger sign near the door would be nice. It's between buildings in a courtyard area. 100% recommend

Very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend the float. Can't wait to come back and try the salt cave.

Trash can that should have been emptied after the previous occupant.

I was so excited and hopeful, really wanted to enjoy this experience. A gift from my sons, hour massage and hour float. Massage was excellent!!! My gal had a dark blue robe hanging for me to use before the float. It was damp and cold from the dampness. Thought maybe it came out of the dryer too soon, but....it wasn't wet all over, only where the body touches, say....after a float and shower. YUCK!! Had some white "residue " near the sleeves and front. I asked the front desk guy for a new robe as I waited for my float room. He then tells me my 545 booking was going to be about 20 minutes late because the heater for a pod wasn't working in one of the rooms and I had to wait until the other couple vacated one of the float rooms. My wait ended up being 45 min, started my float at 6:30. So much for my 7:30 dinner reservations with friends. (Massage was scheduled 4:40, float 5:45). Texted my friends and let them know to start without me. Upon entering the room, see the photos; trashcan with trash on the floor. Laundry basket corroded at the bottom. Piece of hair on top of the entrance of the float pod. Got inside once I was laying down in the barely warm water, got a little bit of water on the entrance of my nostril and I wanted to wipe it off with the dry cloth. See photo of the ripped up dry cloth placed inside the pod. Two towels were there for use, one after the shower all ripped one after the POD, same condition as the first. Highly disappointed. Very funky smell as you enter the room, like must, mildew and sewage. I only stayed in for 30 minutes due to my dinner reservation. The guy at the front desk asked me "how was everything" I said it was "OK" I've then told him I had to end my float 30 min short. No inquiry, no interest in knowing more about my experience. Just "have a good evening" and he walked right by me.

I could not think of a better way to spend a Friday evening then at luna float spa. Luna float spa offers a variety of services including floatation therapy, infrared sauna, Maharishi Ayurvedic, and a zero gravity massage chair. The new owners Courtney and Arielle are zen and super knowledgable. Courtney is the maharishi ayurvedic practitioner that incorporates the ayurvedic ancient holistic traditions with modern therapy. They provided a detailed tour and an explanation of all the benefits that transpire from each experience. I had the pleasure of experiencing the full moon package. The full moon includes a 60-minute float session, a 60-minute infrared experience, and a 30-minute gravity chair massage. During the full experience, you are served Kangen water that has powerful antioxidants and also gets a chance to enjoy a mineralized bathing experience. Its a mini getaway experience that can last 3 hours or more and will leave you feeling rejuvenated. Float season: The float session was amazing. The tank is filled with 10" of water and 800-1000 lbs of Epsom salt which creates a zero-gravity experience. The tank itself is pretty cool and looks like a space pod. As you enter the tank the water is warm and you effortlessly float. While in the pod all your senses are pretty much inhibited and it's just you and your mind. It's very meditative but also it's quite enlightening. Your mind can be active but eventually, it starts to settle. Sauna session: The sauna is no average sauna. It is a full spectrum Infrared light sauna that has different wavelengths for optimal health benefits. It offers different programs like anti-aging, weight loss, detoxification, and more. It is also equipped with a sound system that includes pandora radio and the option to sync your fit bit or health device which is nice. Massage chair: The last part of the Full moon package is a 30 minute zero gravity massage chair. I must say it was perfect and a relaxing finishing touch. The chair offers a variety of different settings and feels like a group of massage therapists working on you. Price: All of the services that luna spa offers are very well priced and comparable to most spa services. The packages and membership make it sustainable. They also provide discounts for military, teachers, and more. The full moon package is $99 and a steal for the relaxation but also the health benefits you are obtaining. Luna float spa provides relaxation, wellness, and self care all in one! The environment is serene and the experience is epic. If you are looking for a relaxing and therapeutic experience then you have to check out Luna Float spa!

I've been going to Luna Float Spa for about 9 months now. I go for the infrared sauna and I can honestly say, it's been life-changing! First off, the owners, Morgan and Ana-Alycia, could not be any nicer. They are so warm, welcoming and inviting. Secondly, the space and sauna itself are immaculately clean. You get the whole sauna room to yourself for a full 60 minutes which is longer than other infrared saunas I've been to. The sauna itself is very spacious. There is a large private shower in the room with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You're provided with two bath towels and two washcloths. There is an essential oil diffuser and they provide cold water to drink. From my experience, Ive found that being hydrated and drinking water right before helps me sweat even more so be sure to drink at least a glass! The first benefit I noticed after just 3 uses was clearer skin - like friends will be asking you if you got a facial! It feels so good to detoxify your body at the cellular level. And with consistent use, I know it has accelerated fat burning and weight loss which has motivated me to be more active. It has become the ultimate self care time - I bring my journal and have the opportunity to write in complete silence with no distractions. If you have an upcoming special event and/or you're looking for a long-term method to detox, get that glow and maybe accelerate losing a couple pounds, Luna is the place to call!

Massage: 5 stars Facial: 5 stars…read moreBooking by phone: 3 stars Checking out: 1 Star Fun fact: locals/non hotel guests can book and use the spa with a gift certificate. My spouse gifted me $1,000 for the spa and told me to bring a friend. My bestie just so happened to be moving across the country this summer, so for our last hurrah, I booked us a couples massage and facials. When I called to make the appointment, I was placed on hold until a supervisor could come on the line to make the reservation. I explained that I had a gift certificate and the amount and asked her for guidance. I told her I'd like to do massages but facials were also an option. Without giving me a price, she booked us the couples massage and what sounded like a couples facial. Turns out, we should have just done the massages in order to spend what was on the gift certificate. Also, the facials were not done in the same room and started at different times. Because of that, I couldn't guide my friend, who had never had a facial before, or tell her that she wasn't beholden to that particular type of facial. I felt so terrible afterward, when she explained the trauma of her facial and the rude things her esthetician said about her skin. However lovely the view from the cattle call--I mean waiting area--was including the falcon perched on top of a pine tree overlooking the golf course, or how many settings and features the bidet had, the biggest let down by far was checking out. I had told the young woman at the desk that I was treating my friend and handed her my credit card, you know, HINT, HINT, PLEASE, whatever you do, DON'T say the total amount out loud! What did she do??? My friend was HORRIFIED at the price tag, which was the absolute worst way to end our spa day. I felt so terrible because the entire situation made us both extremely uncomfortable. What a crappy goodbye and sendoff. My recommendation for the Spa is to train staff on discreetness, particularly with regard to closing out the bill. Also, I've been to many spas but this one had the fewest after-shower amenities, particularly for curly-haired ladies.

When I checked in I was handed a glass of Rose and given a tour of the facility. Oxygen room, sauna, steam room, fireplace room and mountain view room (which was co-ed but I never saw a man there!) Fresh fruit, snacks, and cumcumber or watermelon water privided. I was actually concerned I would get hungry before I finished, but that turned out not to be a problem! I was so relaxed with lighting and music I actually fell asleep during my facial. I counldn't believe I was that relaxed. The pedicure had anti-gravity chair that actually laid me back...making it my mission to find a place in Cincinnati that provides that! Again, wine helped me to relax and enjoy. Everything here was absolutely top notch. Locals can't book appointments...you have to be staying here to participate. It's worth booking a room. Trust me on that! I never felt so pampered.

It's even a few steps above glamping as it should be for the steep price. However, if you want to experience a few days in a great outdoors The Ranch at Emerald Valley is perfect. After 4 nights at the Broadmoor resort (also amazing) we took the 2pm shuttle up a rocky mountain road to the Ranch. We were greeted by Aaron, a fellow Northwestern alum (go Wildcats) and his incredible staff. There were 38 people total our first night there, which the told us was a record for the Ranch. It didn't feel very crowded though (especially after the craziness of the resort) and most of the people had kids the same age as ours which was a lot of fun. They showed us to our cabin, Hills Cabin, which I realized was the "presidential cabin." It was a huge 2 bedroom cabin that had enough room for 6 kids up in loft up top and a beautiful master suite. + 3 bathrooms and a ginormous kitchen/dining room that we didn't really put to use. It also have a big TV with Netflix and a lovely fireplace. There's a 3rd bedroom that's attached to it, although the 2nd night we were there it was rented by another couple with a separate entrance. There's plenty of fun to be had at the ranch: horseback riding, paddleboats/kayaks, archery, fishing, hiking etc. And if you get a rainy afternoon there are plenty of board games to play both in the lodge and in the cabin. We spent 2 nights here, although with the rain wish we had an extra night to enjoy some of the activities we didn't have a chance to squeeze in. The food was absolutely amazing. My picky children were even in heaven and my little guy has been asking for lobster ever since trying it as their Wed night cookout. Dinners besides the twice a week cookout involves ordering off a menu with plenty of choices for all. I do wish they did a better job with labeling the buffet with food allergies. My son has a serious nut allergy and almost ate a brownie with walnuts because it wasn't labeled and I had to constantly ask if things had nuts and/or gluten in them. They asked for our dietary restrictions ahead of time so assumed they'd be better about this. This really was a very special experience that I think our kids will remember for a long time.
