We gave Luna Grill a try last night via Postmates and we were not disappointed. Our order arrived fast, hot and beautifully packaged. We'll re-use the take out containers for packed lunches. It's a higher quality container and we want to be environmentally conscious. We ordered the chicken, ground sirloin and Bistro filet kabobs. All were very good, especially the ground sirloin. Luna Grill was a place I'd always wanted to go to. I go to the Collection often enough, but always had plans to go some place else to eat with either my friends or my husband. Today I went to the movies with some good friends to see Girls Trip & we were hungry afterwards. We decided to eat here. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I am a WFPB (whole foods, plant based- limited oil or no oil, no refined sugar, flours, absolutely no animal products). I ordered the veggie plate with the spicy hummus on the side & no yogurt sauce. The plate includes a veggie kabob (onions, yellow squash, mushrooms), basmati rice, garden salad, 3 pieces of pita bread & hummus. It was a nice hot day & the AC was out in the restaurant so we decided to sit outside. The manager was very nice. He delivered the food to our table & would periodically check on us. We asked him for the raspberry dressing, which was delicious! We asked him if we could get the hummus plate if we checked in on Yelp. He informed us that it was a promotional offer they no longer offer, but if we downloaded the Luna Grill app, we could get points & tack what we spent & if we did that we would get $5 to use on appetizers. So, I'll do that next time. I loved my dish, the service, the location. I'm very impressed with the speed & great service. Definitely be back soon! A new eating establishment at The Collection in Oxnard.... yay !! Don't get me wrong, I like the others already there, but I always like new choices for where I can eat. I really enjoyed Luna Grill. First of all, their pita bread is some of the best I've had, maybe even THE best...... I love the texture, soft and fresh. Loved it. The hummus was quite tasty, too. Definitely enjoyed them together. The lentil soup was flavorful, but I probably would have preferred it being pureed. I like a thicker soup, and this was more of a broth with the lentils and veggies added. Not bad..... just not my personal preference with soup. As for the entrees, I got a chicken kabob. The chicken was mostly moist, but a couple of the pieces were borderline overly cooked and overly charred, but most were just fine. The marinade used was a nice flavor. I really enjoyed the Greek salad, nice amount of feta cheese and Kalamata olives, and the dressing was awesome. I asked what was in it that gave such a distinct, delicious flavor, but they only knew it came in a pre-made packet of dry herbs and spices to which they added liquids. Oh well. It still tasted really, really good. I'm looking forward to returning. Good quality fresh food that was quite tasty, as well. We go to The Collection often, so I'm quite sure this will become a new staple for me and my husband. read more

Excellent lunch! We came here yesterday for lunch and the patio had plenty of outside seating. We had the chicken wrap in pita with a side of fries and the beef kebab plate (came with a salad, rice, pita, grilled tomatoes & dipping sauce). I was visiting Oxnard and wanted to try this restaurant as I had seen one being constructed in Sherman Oaks weeks earlier. The restaurant was clean, nicely designed, and spacious. I sat outside and had a nice view of sunset. The staff were friendly and attentive.I was impressed with all dishes ordered and their presentation including Sample Platter of Hummous, Cous Cous, , Falafel, Dolmadas and Pita, a Mediterranean Chicken Salad and a Chicken Kabob Plate. I must say that the Chicken was great tasting and tender. Looking forward to visiting the location closer to me in the not too distants. read more

I guess I will err on the side of caution, but I don't know. My first trip here was AMAZING. So dang good was their wrap! The portions were huge and the sweet potato fries were excellent. Don't be a dork like me though and ask for Ranch. They don't have any! :) #FacePalm However, my 2nd visit was very weird. I ordered the same thing because I am a creature of habit. The sweet potato fries were cold and almost doughy. The wrap was gross. Cold, falling apart, pieces crumbling. It tasted as if it had been sitting out for a LONG time. Much different, and much worse, than my first visit. Bottom line? I'll probably be back to give it one final go. In hindsight I should have returned the soggy sweet potato fries on my last visit. I'll try a different item next time and use their check-in offer. read more

This location at the Collection was more convenient for me since I was shopping. The restaurant itself is very roomy inside with long booths, tables, and outside seating. I wanted to sit outside but they had no coverage or umbrellas to prevent the sun from beaming on me so I dined inside. Hopefully they will get patio umbrellas in the near future! First and foremost be sure to check-in on Yelp once you get to the register so you can unlock your free pita and hummus. You can choose the traditional or spicy hummus and if you're not sure ask for a sample. I chose spicy but it's more on the milder side with seasoning. Briana was my cashier and she was very helpful when I had questions about my order. I had a good experience overall with customer service here. Keep up the good work guys! Now let's talk food! They have so many healthy options that are delicious that and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Especially the manager, I think? The food was so amazing. Everything was well seasoned and cooked. I really enjoyed the Lunatic sampler plate and the double protein signature plate. We got the schug sauce on the side and the tzatziki. The schug sauce paired extremely well with the gyro meat. As for service I give this a 10/10. As soon as we entered we were greeted by Lauri.I kept noticing Lauri cleaning and asking guest if everything was alright and if there is anything she can get for us. Lauri's customer service is fantastic I can tell she cares about the guest. The young man working was also extremely nice.
