Food was great, order was missing an item, & customer service was just ok. I had placed an online order & was waiting for it while in the restaurant. I decided to go to counter & order a drink since I was going to be waiting awhile -restaurant was extremely busy & packed with people so I didn't mind. I approach the counter & a bigger man with dark hair, whose name read "Julian" on the receipt took my order for the cup. After he handed me my cup, but before my receipt even printed he turned around to gossip with another female who was also behind the counter. Another employee reached over from where he was and handed me the receipt & was much kinder. The big guy could have waited the extra minute before turning to gossip, it was just a little rude. I understand there are many things needing to be done behind the counter as I've also worked in a similar restaurant/food industry. But the customers experience should come first. Tables were dirty & were not cleaned after being used. Customers were wiping their own tables actually which is quite hard since kids & rice don't usually stay in one place. With three people behind the counter & no long lines or lines at all, there was time to get this done. The trash was also so full you couldn't add another thing in it, so customers were taking their trash to an outside bin. It's ok for one person to move from behind the counter to make sure the dining area is in decent standing, but Julian was too busy gossiping to notice. He was wearing a black shirt so I assume he was maybe the one who was supposed to be running things - if not, who ever was in charge should put more emphasis on how their restaurant looks from a customer perspective. read more

When I walked into Luna Grill, I was immediately greeted with a smile by an employee and was told my order would be up soon. I wish I knew the employee's name but he was very attentive and asked if I wanted some water while I waited. He greeted everyone who walked into the place. He was even dancing and whistling. Ordered twice so far though DD. 1st time good. 2nd time was ok. They had everything in there, but was disappointed with the "dessert". They definitely need to label the cookie sandwiches as "MINI" bc they are TINY but was good! I think $2.50 is way overpriced for them. $1 (at most!!) or less sounds about right! I was expecting them to be a Also ordered a Pellegrino (their pic showed a regular one, which I wanted for a tea drink I was making), they sent a lemon flavor. Their chicken bowl was ok, only ate about half of it. The sides of hummus are also tiny, only a condiment container size. Completely disappointed! I'm only half Greek and their food was a complete disappointment!!! I liken it to Taco Bell to Mexican food restaurants. It lacks in every way! Bland flavor, small portion, rude customer service, and the bathroom was filthy.

The first time I went to Luna the price of things seemed a bit high for a quick lunch on my meal break. After eating the food I knew it was worth it. The service was great. They helped me figure out what I'm the menu was safe for me, a vegan, to eat, and they were very kind and courteous. The falafel is great, the hummus is delicious, the pita is the perfect texture. The inside of the restaurant gives you a feel that is higher than fast food but not quite fine dining. Something akin to a Rubio's experience. I eat at the Santee location frequently, and I'm never disappointed. read more

Came here with my kids and the staff was all smiles with a welcome as we entered. Tristin an employee who went out of his way to say hello and say goodbye when he was off is a standup guy. Had the Mediterranean salad tonight and it was so bomb. The ladies at the register seemed overwhelmed by takeout orders and possibly their system not working but they still held it together.
