I was charged for a full 30+ minute visit ($255) for what was actually a virtual Covid diagnosis call, which should have been something like $25 as advertised at their office. This happened 10 months ago and I am still getting the run around from their billing department. I spoke to someone months ago who said she was looking into it and has never called me back. Their outgoing voice mail says they will return voice messages within 24 hours. They have not once called me back after 3 or 4 follow-up inquiries. 2. They charge a higher amount for 30 minutes-or-less visit, as they do for a 31-to-40 minute visit. If I schedule a 30 minute visit, and it happens to go over by a minute or two, I don't think it's my responsibility to watch the clock. I find it dishonest to let the appointment run over and then charge me more. The efficiency of the office flow should be on them, not the patient. I am not a difficult patient who sticks around and asks multiple extra questions. This happened on a different office visit than the Covid call mentioned above. Strike 2. 3. I just got charged a $25 appointment cancelation fee for a recent appointment I had to miss due to showing Covid symptoms. From my point of view, I didn't cancel the appointment -- they did! Of course, no once answers when you try to call and discuss (see point 1). 3 strikes, time to move on to someone else.

I'm flying out of town for 5 days I didn't want to wait til next week. I think it might be helping reduce sore muscles, I just can't tell yet ( sore since last weekend workouts;) I read some research in Cryotherapy last night...it's said to likely burn up to 800 calories after one 3 min session due to the blood vessels rushing from the protected core to all the areas once you're out. If it indeed helps with burning calories or boosting metabolism I'm All about it!! I'll post more after a few more sessions ;)

I see her most often (weekly) during my heightened training season of triathlon because her active release technique (ART) works wonders. In 2016 I was diagnosed with bursitis in my hip several months before my first Half-Ironman. Linda worked with me to keep my hip healthy so I could finish that race. I know I couldn't have without her. This year, I changed my running pattern (didn't have hip issues) and still saw her while training for my full Ironman. She really knows how to work your body to fine tune it for good training and quick recovery. I felt great during my race and had an easy recovery afterward. I highly recommend her for both ART and chiropractic care.

I waited in the wait area for almost 20 min past my appointment time before a perky RN took me to a room and asked me why I was there. She asked if I minded if there was a student to which I of course didn't. The student was the first to come in. He was very patient and tried to get all the info he could to give some advice. This is where my visit went pear-shaped. I was then shown into another room where His Lordship, Dr. Kanaan agreed to grant my request for an audience. This guy had all the bedside manner of Jim Jones. The Dr was more interested in humiliating his student then any explanation of care. He ultrasounded my elbow without preamble, saw fluid & proceeded to tell me that there really wasn't anything he could do. "If you want I can TRY to drain it but it'll just come back" is honestly what he said. I asked what he would recommend and he said "I'd get it drained because I don't like to wait". I am not kidding you. He was gentle during the procedure I will give him that, but once done & ungloved he tossed the needle he'd used in the general direction if his very full sharps container...missed & had to pick it up & re-toss, got up & left. I guess the appointment was over. No post-care instruction...nothing. The RN came back to give me the discharge for the billing person & sent me in my way. I REALLY wish I knew some sports guys as I'd tell them there has to be someone better than Bob Kelso's stand-in!!

When…read moreGrandma reached the point where she was needing 24-7 care, and Mom (her caregiver) desperately needed sleep, we didn't know what to do. Acting on a recommendation, I called Visiting Angels and talked to Stacey. As a result, help came fast in the form of indeed, a visiting angel. The way they operated was Stacey and Nurse Mary visited with Mom and Grandma to assess what was needed. Night-time help was what Mom was desperate for and Stacey offered up another Stacey who was the most incredible visiting angel. Grandma loved her from the first night. They bonded immediately. We never thought Grandma would be so comfortable with a non-family member caring for her, but I could only relieve Mom so much as I work full-time. Caregiver Stacey would come on-time as scheduled, and be johnny-on-the-spot (as Grandma put it) when Grandma called out for her all night long (which was often). There were times during this period of time where I was desperately seeking advice on how to ease Grandma's suffering. I called Manager Stacey who is the world's best listener, and also talked with Nurse Mary who is full of knowledge and compassion. I'm telling you, these folks care. Fast forward to a little over a month later and Grandma is no longer with us. I was awed that Visiting Angel Stacey not only came to the Memorial Service, but brought a thoughtful gift and heartfelt card. So if you're wondering who to trust to care for someone you love, know there are indeed angels out there. Ones that will visit and care for your loved one as only you can. Yes you will pay for this. Some might say it's not cheap. I say for what they're worth we couldn't pay enough. Stacey, Mary, the other Stacey...our family thanks all of you from the bottom of our hearts!
