3 stars. Why? Namely because of our last delivery experience. We order mozzarella sticks and they shove the sauce container in the same box as the already full mozzarella sticks. Result: smashed sticks that were then a bit harder and no good for eating. I'm not super picky. But that wasn't cool. I hated to waste them, but they weren't as good broke open and partly hardened now. We love the pizza but won't be ordering mozzarella sticks via delivery anymore. I'll begin by saying that the 3 stars that Luna earned were thanks to great handling / customer service of a problem that happened tonight. I was staying in Dublin Sunday evening and ordered 2 specialty pizzas and 2 Stromboli for pickup. After going to the restaurant website because the phone number was constantly busy, I was directed to an app based ordering site. I placed my order and paid via card. I was given a 30 minute timeframe. I arrived at the appointed time and was told by a very efficient, yet busy lady that my order wasn't started yet, that the store was slammed, and was offered a refund if I couldn't wait. This was done in an apologetic, professional way that I appreciated greatly. I decided to wait and was given a new 20 minute timeframe. I came back after that time and sure enough, my order was just coming out of the oven. Except there was a pizza missing. Nooo!!! They again handled the situation well, and immediately made the missing pizza while I waited, it took another 20 minutes. In the end, I got all of my order and we really enjoyed the pizza and Stromboli, the Lunar Eclipse was a hit with the whole family. The cheese and pepperoni was perfectly golden brown and delicious, and they gave us a couple brownies to enjoy to make up for the issues. Here's the bottom line: very good pizza, excellent customer service, but flawed business practices. I really hope the owner is paying the two employees they have very well, because they are being worked very hard, performing admirably, and trying to make up for a lack of planning on the owners part. I counted 4 tablets behind the counter, each running a different ordering app, and this place has a very prominent web presence. Having only two people to take the orders, answer phones, make the orders, cash out customers, and everything else is NOT sufficient. I hope they improve, because the pizza was very good. I really dislike giving 1-2 star reviews. Especially of places I had really been looking forward to try. But sadly, my experience at this location was not good. I work across the street, so for lunch I thought I would call in and order pick up. I was helped by a friendly girl on the other line. I ordered a medium boneless wing order. Was told my amount, and that they would be ready in about 25 minutes. I show up a little bit early (around 20 minutes later), paid for my food, and then waited another, oh I don't know... 6-7 minutes? The staff was very friendly, I will say that. My wings were ready, so off I went back to work to eat them. I pull in, and open my to-go box of wings, and they were bone-in. Now, I'm very picky about wings. I can't have bone-in as I find it kind of gross. Just a personal thing. I called back immediately, and explained the situation to the girl who answered the phone. She placed me on hold, and then advised when she got back that "we don't have boneless in the medium size, we only sell them as a pound, or half pound". While I can respect that I made an error reading the online menu prior to ordering, the girl who originally took my phone call did not correct me when I ordered a medium boneless wings. I'm sure some might argue that I was in the wrong, but I just forked over $12 for wings I was not going to consume. So I asked for my money back. She said that they could switch them out. I explained that I was already at work, and could not take another 30-40 minutes to have wings re-made for me. Again, asking for a refund. She said she was going to have to contact the manager who can do that, but if not, would store credit work? I said sure, that's fine. I'm not sure if my refund was processed yet, but needless to say, my visit was not pleasant, which makes me sad because I was so excited to try this place. I like their lunch combos and would order from there a lot, I have 2 small kids at home and I can't pick up without having to take both kids out and trying to carry both in, so I always just ordered delivery. Their delivery service is the worst, I'm sorry to say. I live no kidding a 5 minute drive, I pay the extra money so I don't have to carry kids and food. 5 mins down the road and I have to wait an hour for a blt? I normally ordered during my kids nap time so I would watch out the window so that way I could meet the delivery guy outside so there was no knocking and risk waking up babies. Several times I've watched the delivery guys sitting in my driveway finishing up phone calls, another guy finished his cigarette before getting out. So I just stopped ordering from there, unless I'm capable of picking it up, which isn't often since I'm with my kids always. read more

I first had Luna Pizza at last year's Slice of Columbus. They were serving up the Full Moon. The Full Moon has Extra Virgin Olive Oil, fresh minced garlic, mozzarella, provolone, & Gouda cheeses, and Italian seasoning. This was by FAR my wife and I's favorite pizza there. I recently stopped by and picked up a whole pizza and their Luna Skins. The pizza was just as good as we remembered. It's kind of like the best garlic cheese bread you've ever had. It really is fantastic. I highly recommend you try it!! The Luna Skins were good as well, but nothing mind blowing. I first ordered from this restaurant 3 years ago. I worked for a company that use to have a lot of meetings with clients and I used this restaurant a lot. The food was delivered on time and the pizza and wings were always good. I don't know if they are under new management or what. It had been about a year since I last ordered from the restaurant. A few months ago, I ordered pizza to be delivery to my home. The pizza was 45 minutes late and I had to call the store to see what the problem was. I was told that the driver was running behind and would make the delivery shortly. When I finally received m y pizza, it was cold and it had no taste. A few months later, I decided to give them another try and ordered a pizza. It never came. I called the store and no one answered the phone. I contacted Doordash because that's who I ordered the food from and Doordash informed me that Luna Pizza makes their own delivers and do not use Doordash drivers. I think what the problem is that they try take as many orders as they can, but unfortunately they don't have the staff to make the deliveries. I really hate to write this bad review because this is a family owned business and I know what the food used to take like, but obviously something has happened. I will not be ordering from them ever again. Please don't waste your time or money. read more

Pizza is excellent. Mozzarella sticks were pretty cold and bland but hey, I didn't come here for those. The pizza is flavorful with plenty of cheese and toppings (I got pepperoni and green pepper). It's a hole in the wall sort of joint but those are often the best ones. read more

I went here specifically to try the gluten free pizza and this without a doubt the worst GF pizza I've ever had. The crust was spongy and doughy. After 2 pieces I resorted to peeling the toppings off and just eating that. I'm sure their regular pizza is just fine, but based on the GF version I'm giving them one star. read more

This nice little pizza place has the best gluten-free, dairy-free pizza that I've ever had! My husband and I loved the other specialty pizzas too, but the gluten-free crust was surprisingly good. Bright cheerful counter staff, quick service, but not much of a pizza. There was no tomato flavor in the sauce, the crust was soft and slightly soggy. It was cut in random sized pieces not regular pizza wedges. We got to try Luna at Slice of Columbus a couple years ago and it was our favorite pie of the night! We live downtown so to go to Dublin to get pizza isn't always a priority. We did pick it up one night for dinner and it was just as good as I remembered. The white pizza is amazing! It is a must! Luna's is the type of restaurant you will keep coming back to not only because the food is great but because the service is great. I order from them at least once a week. I can't tell you my order has been perfect everytime. (I'm the most pickiest person ever)! What I can do is assure you that even if I did not call back to address my concerns myself, they always go above and beyond to fix any problem. Not only have they called me back to leave me a message because their driver informed them something was wrong. But they have went as far as bringing me lunch to work (out of their delivery zone), just to correct a mistake. The customer service this family feels obligated to give is truly one of a kind. As a CSR myself of over ten years, I just want to genuinely reach out and offer my gratitude and appreciation. Don't pass up this hidden gem! Finally got around to giving this place a shot after the last place in this location went under. It's nice that we finally have a decent pizza place in this area again! Pizza was hot, sauce was tasty, great dough, and plenty of toppings. Mondays and maybe Tuesdays are half off large or extra large but I'd pay full price for the pizza too.
