This is one of our favorite pizza places in town. We aren't big on large pizza chain places. We prefer smaller shops and mom & pop shops. This isn't a huge chain but they do it right. The service is great, the food is great, and it always hits the spot This time we got the old world pepperoni pizza. I was hesitant beside the image on the site shows edge to edge pepperonis overlapping other pepperonis. I do prefer to see cheese on top and I like crispy crust. I was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't exactly like the photo haha. It was delicious. All the little pepperonis all curled up on top. It was nice and crispy and delicious. The Italian sun was great. First time having it. The bread was yummy and the salami pieces were crispy on the edges and curled up just like pepperonis on the pizza. Loved it. Have been eating their food for close to 30 years. The Galloway, and Grove City locations mostly. By far the best pizza in the city. Lots of locations great service always. Very polite, and courteous whether you call or go in to order. It's always pretty fast. A really bad delivery wait may be 45 minutes? Usually it's sooner than that. I've been coming to this location for many years and now I'm not sure if I want to come back. My favorite item to get was their traditional wings. I always got the 10 piece wings with hot sauce. Their pizzas are alright, but my favorite is the Old World. That's why they get 1 extra star. The reason I'm giving a pretty bad review is they've changed their wings. They're no longer breaded free/naked, they're now breaded. The second wing in was chewy and fatty. Not only did they change their wings, they've changed the size portion. Now it's 8, 12 and I forgot the last portion. The hot sauce is the same, but the taste was not that great. I could be thinking that because of my second wing being terrible, but even the workers there said they don't get why it was changed. I love their online order feature! It is so simple and easy to use. They have some great deals on pizza that come across my email often. Flyers has a drive-thru pickup window or you can go in the store to get your order. The drive-thru line is at an odd angle and had a line of cars. I ended up going inside and that was just as easy. They offer indoor dining. There aren't many seats but it is enough. They also have TV's to watch sports. The pizza is decent. It is good and hot but there wasn't any thing real distinguishable that made it out of this world though. I would like to get it again sometime and try some of their other menu options. read more

I come here so often for salads, they even know me by name. The food is always top quality, weather it's a pizza, sub or salad, they are all very tasty, and prepared perfectly. Wonderful pizza! We had this at a friends house and had to get it again! We had the old world pepperoni and it was nice and crispy! We also tried the cheese bread, which was average, but the pizza is definitely worth trying. Rumor has it that the location in West Jefferson has a lunch buffet, so I'm interested in trying that to try out some different types of pizza because everyone raves about all of the different types they've tried and enjoyed! One of the better chain pizza joints in Columbus, we love their crust and the sauce is very good. Ordering extra cheese will greatly increase your enjoyment level, as they aren't very generous with it otherwise. Same kinda goes for the toppings, and on that subject, don't show your pizza on the menu and website with pepperoni covering the entire pie, then when you get it it's half that. Night manager Jim from the Galloway location was just AWFUL! He was Loud, Rude, and Belligerent. Our last order from the end of May was messed up and we were promised a credit on our account. The young lady said that all we had to do was call or come in and we would be taken care of. Little did I know that being 'taken care of' meant being yelled at and called liars by Jim. He said that the error was ours and that he couldn't help us. REFUSED to help us. Jim showed that he would rather be "right" than to focus on customer satisfaction and retention. He lost 2 long time customers (13 years) over an $8 salad. SHAME ON YOU Flyers for setting your customer service standards so low. read more

I grew up right around the corner from the the Roberts and Rome-Hilliard location, i think we had their pizza 3 times in 18 years. Moved back closer to Galloway area, trying to get a feel for what delivers around here. I have no menu for flyers no coupons, i called and placed an order for 43 dollars. After eating pizza for 34 years, and being a manager at a shop for 5, i asked if they had any coupons, the girl said they should have been mailed to you, i explained we just moved here, she said sorry we don't have any you could use. I am absolutely disgusted. I received a completely wrong pizza via delivery and was told when I called that my account would be credited. Additionally, my NEXT delivery order had a missing 2 liter. The delivery person said she would go back and have our account credited. We have ordered from Flyers for YEARS. I even visit multiple locations. When I called tonight to use my credit, I was told there was nothing on my account. The individual got a manager who told me that they're "very good at documenting problems" and that "only managers can issue credits", but there's nothing on my account. I was very polite yet stern that I was told by two individuals that my account would be credited. After the manager kept telling me there was nothing on my account, I finally asked her if she thought I was calling to lie about a pizza problem after having Flyers deliver to my residence for 7 years. She stated no, but there's nothing on my account. I then asked if it was seriously worth losing a long-time frequent customer over this, and she was fine with that. I have maybe called in a problem with my delivery once in 7 years prior to this, although there have been MANY problems before that I just let go. Flyer's is my go to since I moved to the Westside of Columbus. Great pizza, great subs, great stromboli..... great everything to be honest. Friendly staff and very fast service with the food to match anyone. We usually go with 2 "Old world" pepperoni pizzas, a bomber pizza, at least 1 12" Italian sub, and last but not least a build your own stromboli. Amazing every time we order. Being from NY I'm not really into thin crust pizza. But Flyers has a good sauce that makes up for it. Flyers also distributes toppings in the right consistency, unlike Donatos - seriously 100 slices of pepperoni-overkill. But yesterday I ventured down Norton Rd. in the Ice Storm of '09 to pick up a simple italian sub. It was delicious. The meat was fresh-deli style and the bread was terrific. For about the same price as Subway I had a terrific sub, probably the best italian sub I've had in awhile. Better than Grinders. I'll definitly be back here when I'm craving submarinos! read more

Flyers has some of the best pizza in town. Once being a small ma and pops shop has grown into a chain now. If you are a pepperoni fan i highly recommend the 'old world pepperoni'. It is bit more expensive but the taste is great, pepperoni with some zest to them, the sauce is sweet crust is thin just perfect. So many excess calories I ingested here as a teenager. No, I am totally not proud. They have this abomination of a sub called "The Nightmare", which has every kind of meat you can imagine on it, and it's massive, and I used to eat those in whole sittings. Talk about a metabolism. Though it is beastly in size, it is damn delicious. Split it.. if you must. The pizzas here are pretty good, too...Nothing out of this world or memorable, but still worth a try. Unfortunately, this area has taken a turn towards shady and I rarely venture down this way anymore, but that shouldn't stop people from giving the place a try. The inside is neat and gives the vibe of shiney vintage aircrafts, which is pretty neat and different. The seating is limited, but it's nice for couples, or a small family, but I wouldn't bring a HUGE amount of people. My boyfriend and I order Flyers quite often so I figured now was a good time to review. He LOVES the Old World Pepperoni stromboli and bbq wings. The wings always come extra wet and delicious...he barely shares. I love the above items, but the Italian sub has the crispest bread with such a soft inner and I love that texture! The breaded mushrooms taste made from scratch and not freezer bagged like so many other places. Finally, the cheese and bacon fries with sour cream are a terribly good guilty pleasure. Always great pizza here! Their standard pizza crust is what I would call "Columbus Thin" - Donato's, Masseys, etc. They also have the option of a thick crust pizza and Stromboli. The staff is always friendly and they give you complimentary homemade chips when you dine in! read more

I love their pizza. They told me 20 minutes. When I picked it up it was lukewarm at best. Any pizza buff knows that is a bummer.
