I had the clams and mussels chowder and halibut cakes that weren't bad but the highlights were the crab dip with the French / Sourdough bread and the Huckleberry Lemonade . My wife had a ribeye that she said was decent. Our server was excellent. She made sure our meal met our expectations and kept checking in on us. We were surprised that we couldn't find more seafood restaurants for being on the coast.

They're not even trying to determine if their food and service is acceptable Missteps included: #1) Two different menus were given, one outdated with a special I wanted. Totally forgivable though #2) potatoes in bouillabaisse were so undercooked they were inedible. They made up most of the dish too. On the plus side, the broth and fish were well prepared. See photo #3) onions in the Hungarian mushroom soup were large, crunchy and near raw. #4) a main ingredient in my special salad was completely missing and it was impossible to find my wait person. Thankfully a bus person assisted, went to a manager, then the busser brought the ingredient to the table. #5) very poor timing of dishes brought to the table. Since there were few people dining I find this perplexing #6) we were never ONCE asked how things were, surprising especially since a manager knew of at least one misstep. The food was not awful, but the issues with the food combined with the "I don't care" wait staff and management in a pricy restaurant made it a NEVER AGAIN situation

It's really fast and efficient. It's def a brew pub. The pizza part upstairs is closed for today. Had the best beer called Divinity ( Marionberry wheat beer) yummy. Chick beer lol. The fish n chips is Albacore Tuna. I had the oysters n chips, John and mom had fish n chips. One bowl of seafood chowder to share was delish. It had everything in it! Including fish too. We are so full but satisfied.. I did want to try the sourdough bread pudding with warm fruit and whip to share... maybe next time. It was really busy in here on a Friday afternoon. We even had to wait for. Table to leave. Glad we came. I bet they roll up the bay doors when it's summer!

The only negative experience was with the guy seating us upstairs, he definitely had a bit of an attitude. We ordered a 16" half Almighty and half Margherita pizza along with a Caesar salad. The pizza was really good overall, although they definitely could've put more cheese on the Margherita side because it felt a little skimpy. Still very tasty though. The Caesar salad unfortunately tasted really old, but our server was fantastic, apologized immediately, and removed it from the bill without issue. Great customer service honestly made a big difference. Overall, I'd definitely come back!

Because we were driving through on our road trip, we decided to make a stop here for a late lunch this last Tuesday afternoon, around 2:15 pm. After we parked, we walked inside and headed towards the salad bar/ hot bar food area. After looking around (there is also a counter that you can order made to order sandwiches and burritos), I ended up deciding to purchase the following: Peanut Chicken Sesame Noodle Salad, $8.99- This was quite a massive portion so I only ended up eating about 1/3 of it and then had the rest over the next few days (I ended up mixing it with some chopped cucumbers and tomatoes that I had to make a large salad). I loved the peanut sesame dressing and noodles in this salad but wished there was more chicken. Mayak Egg Noodle Bowl, $8.99- My husband picked this salad for himself but I didn't have any. He thought it was good and appreciated something fresh, as his bowl had shredded cabbage, like my salad, and cucumbers and shredded carrots. Pumpkin Pie, $6.99- My husband saw this small pumpkin pie and decided to get it because he is such a big fan of it. I actually don't like pumpkin as much as when I was much younger. But I did like this pie and thought the flavors were well balanced, not too overly sweet. ---------------------------------------- (Total= $24.97) I really appreciated that the little dining area (there is also an outdoor dining area as well but because it had rained previously, we opted to sit inside) had plastic bowls and plates available for you to put your food in. This was helpful for me to be able to thoroughly mix my noodle salad since the dressing was mostly on the bottom. Then after I mixed it, I just put it back in the plastic container and only left about 1/3 of the salad in my bowl to eat. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regularly of this market (specifically for the prepared food area).

Downstairs is an open kitchen with a few tables in the front room. I do think that if they didnt have a big communal table, they could rearrange the tables to get a few more for extra service. I ordered the Salad with Dungeness Crab. I loved the freshness and all the combined flavors. My husband had the fresh fish tacos and they were very fresh and full of fresh cooked fish. The clam chowder was a little weak in flavor and lacking clams so I would probably skip it next time. The fish and chips is their signature dish and everyone was ordering it. This place is definitely a dining gem!

Service: waitress may be a little overloaded so, she was quite slow to show up after we were seated. She took the order with warmth and enthusiasm. She did not return to check if we needed anything after the food was served. There was an older gentleman (may be the owner) who showed us to our seats and was particularly concerned about our experience at the store. It was a nice touch. Ambiance: nice soft lighting, noise level was moderate. I consider this place good enough to eat my meal comfortably and able to enjoy the foods without too much noise.
