Highly disappointed. Party of 6 patiently waited for 1 of the 2 huge tables. As we patiently waited, a group of 5 white men walked in and were immediately seated at one of large tables. When I asked the hostess if they had a reservation, she said no and said a mistake was made and she was sorry. We would be seated soon at the other table. WOW. The proper way to handle it would have been to ask the gentlemen to get up and have them wait. But what did I, an amazing black women and with my amazing family expect. Fun place with good vibe. Outdoor game space was fun. Indoor is a little small & cramped. It didn't help that we were beside a group of 8 drunk college students who were yelling & cussing at the top of their lungs! This place was recommended by someone and I had been looking for a place to do brunch. Although I'm not too familiar with the area, I found it to be less busy than I thought for a Sunday at around 11 a.m. There was a 20 min wait, and my friends and I decided to grab a drink; mimosas. There was a cute little beer garden next door where we hung out and waited. Although I'm used to having mimosas served in a champagne glass with no ice, they were ok. A bit too much crushed iced for my taste, since it eventually melts and tasted watered down. I had the chicken and waffles which came with a large piece of friend chicken and one large waffle, and it was delicious. There was plenty of breading on the chicken but not so much that it was more breading than chicken. The chicken was perfect cooked and still juicy. The place is a little on the small side, but definitely a great place to grab brunch with friends or a date. read more

Delicious food. I am vegan but they are nice about modifying dishes for me. I just wish they offered a little more that I could eat, because everything I have had has been good. My friend and I dined for breakfast at Lunch. It was incredible. The old time-y atmosphere and small dining area had a cozy feel. I had the double barrel which was killer. Usually anything covered in a great sausage gravy tops it for me but the addition of the BBQ was stellar. My friend ordered the last stand burrito. The portion sizes were incredible that we took about half home to eat for later. The service was great and we will definitely be back soon. read more

Very cool spot, tucked away on a side street in what seemed Iike a random area to a non-Richmond resident. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were even better. Their outside beer garden is a great space to kick back and drink beer and even dinner if the heaters are on as the nights get colder. Recommend Supper meals over lunch as their dinner specials are always delicious and add-ons you can't get anywhere else. Lamb Ragu is amazing. The food at Lunch and Supper was amazing. Mac and Cheese was perfectly done, with nice spare ribs on top. The reason I am rating them so low is how long we had to wait. We put our name down and they told us 25 minutes, 45 minutes later we went up and asked what the problem was and they said we were the first on the list. An hour and half later they finally call us up after multiple times of us going up and asking. This place is great for food!! My friends and I came for brunch and there's two parts of the restaurant - the only difference is that one side doesn't serve eggs Benedict - a brunch staple!! Fortunately we didn't have to wait long for the Benedict side. We shared a carafe of mimosa - good and a decent price. I can't say the same for the eggs Benedict. I ordered the jersey ham and it was too salty in my opinion. One egg was overcooked and the other one was perfect. This place is definitely worth the hype! The food was great and everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful. I had a breakfast of waffles and bacon, and when I ordered sweet tea the waitress asked if I wanted to try the mint sweet tea. I have been craving it ever since I left! Wow. Love this place. Delicious, pet-friendly, wonderful service, great vibe. We were looking for a place to eat with our 4 month old puppy while waiting for our AirBnb check in. This was our first visit to a restaurant with our puppy. It could not have been more successful. The patio was enclosed and warm (while there were 21mph winds outside). The veggie wrap and crab dip were exceptional. The staff made us and our pup feel so welcomed - they even brought a bowl of water to the table! Such a cute place! We had 3 of their wines on tap, and all three were exceptional. Our appetizers and dinners were really good. The meat loaf was really strong with cumin flavor but still good. The Brussels sprouts were the star! So delicious! We also had the Krispy Kreme bread pudding which was super sweet, but a good choice for splitting or sharing. As far as ambience..the place is cozy and intimate. Which is what I prefer to cold and big. Really great service as well. Would come again if we were in the area read more
