There is not one bad thing I would be able to say about this restaurant. From the moment we sat down the staff was kind and the food was out of this world. Luogo is an absolute must visit spot for those visiting Nashville but will be a reoccurring spot for me as a local. Luogo accompanies large parties or small date nights, with an unmatched cocktail/wine list, incredible appetizers and salads, and a great selection of pasta and seafood entrees. I recommend the zucchini and potato chips, burrata salad, margarita pizza (unlike any other margarita you've had before), mashed potatoes, and salmon entree. All of the staff is attentive and friendly and help to provide an excellent service. As far as cocktails go, I recommend their take on an Aperol Spritz or their take on an old fashioned. The best authentic Italian food in Nashville! You cannot go wrong. Highly recommend the margherita pizza and the bolognese pasta. They also have a very good cocktail selection. The food is just okay, but the service was immaculate and ambiance was nice. Note outdoor dining is on plastic tables with no cloth. Price $175 for two including tip, no drinks. App: We got the Margherita pizza app (best dish we had, it's very thin and great flavor. Dinner: Our main dishes, lobster pasta and veal shank, were okay but lobster was frozen claw meat and veal dish didn't have much depth, slightly over cooked veal. Dessert: Tiramisu was very good and was creatively served in a percolator. Decent dinner due to extraordinarily good service, but probably wouldn't go back for the food. read more

A very unique place! We enjoyed all that we had. I would go back! I felt like we got a decent amount of food for the price as it is a tad high. The complimentary crunchy bread "sticks" and olives were quite tasty and a little spicy. The grilled margherita pizza was unlike anything I've ever had! It's almost like fried cheese with a dab of pizza sauce on it. The pan seared salmon was cooked just right and the chicken saltimbocca was very good. They are both served with quite a lot of sauce on the plate. We didn't order any additional sides as we figured the pizza and two entrees would be enough. For dessert, we got the tiramisu. Again, very unique, as it is served in like a French press coffee carafe. It's enough to share and very creamy. The people at the table beside us got banana pudding and it looked great! Our waitress said it was her fav with strawberries and chocolate chips! I will try that next time! read more

This review is so overdue!! I was fortunate to dine here twice when in town for conferences. The food and the service are outstanding. We were greeted by Owner Anthony Scotto, GM Evan and Executive Chef Justin as well as Madison and Johnny and the outstanding service team. Because we were a large group, we had a prix fixe menu and everything was excellent. Get the bolognese. It is heavenly!! I must give a special nod to Laura and Dan who took care of us as if we were family. They were attentive, they were fun, they were exceptional! I live in Birmingham, AL but went here for my 32nd birthday dinner with my boyfriend while In town. We arrived about 5 minutes early to our reservation and were seated on time. However, after ordering drinks it took at least 20 minutes for them to arrive maybe more. The salmon appetizer was good but the drinks were terrible. They put too much ice so it was very watered down tasting. I ordered the chicken saltimbocca for dinner and it arrived very lukewarm almost cold and the potato/green beans that came with it were still hard...they clearly did not cook it long enough. I only ate half since it was underwhelming and when they came to get my plate they asked me how it was so I told them the truth...undercooked. They sent the manager over who then accused me basically of putting my boyfriends salmon on my plate to make it look like raw chicken. News flash....couples often share pieces of their entrees and my complaint was not raw chicken. They sent out a free cheesecake slice which was ok but my boyfriends homemade cheesecake is even better than that. The next day I get a bill in my email saying they charged me $20 for a "no show" fee. Interesting since I confirmed the reservation, have pics of the food there, and the manager spoke to me. I called asking them to have the manager call me once they refunded the money..they still haven't done so. My boyfriend spent a lot of money on this meal and i would have been more pleased with Olive Garden. read more

I highly highly recommend sitting at the bar if you're able, we accidentally sat here (sat down to grab a drink while we waited for a table) but then the bartender was so nice we decided to stay here our entire meal and we are so glad we did. The food here matches the service. Outstanding. We started with the salmon tartare. We ended up scraping the plate with a spoon to get every scrap. It was a new take in raw salmon and we were impressed with the added flavors and avocado. My wife has the eggplant parmigiana appetizer which once again was a different and flavorful take on her standby dish. I had the crab fra diávolo which had a different and intriguing type of flavor to the heat. The pasta was cooked perfectly. I sat at the bar with my friends. The bar stools are very comfortable and my friends and I were really enjoying the ambiance and having a great conversation. I was feeling pretty relaxed until I was startled by the manager sharply barking orders at a staff member over the bar right next to me. I don't think he noticed that he had everyone's attention as he walked away. I assume he was the manager by his attitude. His attire was a shirt with an embroidered logo. I paid $86 for a small appetizer and two glasses of wine for the privilege of witnessing a snit. I won't be back. read more
