Best pizza spot in Nashville!! i love their unique combinations on the pizzas and theyre all so flavorful! we were lucky to get on the waiting list and come back and got in quickly but the wait times are long so i would make a reservation before going. the workers were very nice and accommodating and very helpful. everything we tried was so yummy and the caesar salad was so delicious with a pile of parmesan on top. we definitely loved the salumi pizza the most!

Very good pizza! My 14 year old grandson said it was his favorite pizza! It's just a really cute pizza joint with nice outside seating, good service and great pizza. The candles they sell are % wonderful and last a long time. I wish I had bought more.

I don't usually update my review so soon after my initial visit ... but I just have to say that their current Sho-Stopper is a MUST-TRY. My husband and I have been back to Sho a handful of times since our first meal there, and we are slowly working our way through their menu. The Caesar is still our favorite in town, and the Matcha Tiramisu is a fun take on the Italian classic. However, the purpose for this review is to petition Sho to add their current Sho-Stopper to their regular menu. It's called "Wedding Crasher" and it is truly the best pie we've had there (and trust me when I say we love their regular menu features too!) It's made with a vodka sauce, and it's honestly the perfect mix of spicy and cheesy. So Sho team, if you're reading this, the Wedding Crasher is amazing! We loved it and will be back again soon. Nashville foodies, if you're reading this, go try the Wedding Crasher and tell your server how much you loved it so they keep it on the menu!

I came in around 3:30pm for an early dinner. At this time of day, there was plenty of table and patio seating! We were seated at the bar which was fun because the restaurant has a cool vibe where you can watch the cooks prepare the food in front of you. For drinks, we ordered the Limonata and the Yuzu Arnold Palmer which were both refreshing for a hot day but I was disappointed to find out there were no happy hour specials going on and their drinks are fairly pricey. We started off with the Caesar salad, like everyone says, it may have been the best Caesar salad I've ever had! We also ordered two pizzas: the God father and the current Sho-Stopper (forgot the name) which notably had Calabrian chiles, pickled onion, meat similar to salami and some other toppings. The Godfather was amazing, but the Sho-Stopper was a little bit lacking in my opinion. I was expecting it be a little more balanced between the toppings with the spiciness of the chilies, but it was overall just HOT. I tried dipping it in their miso ranch to offset the spiciness, but I felt that the ranch flavor did not complement the flavors on the pizza. However, I think if a pizza is really good quality, it shouldn't need any help from the ranch to taste better, which SHO definitely had really great quality pizza. My opinions about the Sho-Stopper do not discredit the quality of this restaurant at all, I am sure that they have a lot of other options I would like way more and I just shouldn't have picked a super spicy pizza if that's not the flavor profile I was looking for. Also, the strawberry pannacotta was delish and reminded me of a mature, high quality version of a strawberry shortcake push pop.

Food is amazing. I would place the Caesar Salad as a top 3 that I have ever had. The pizza is very thin and very light with a charred crust. The Margarita pizza was a favorite. The downside here is many of the things in the restaurant seem like afterthought from a design concept. It's very crowed, long lines waiting for 1 of 2 restrooms that weave though seated tables, parking is very difficult and battling the flies is a constant. They have definitely taken measures to keep the flies away but just know it's a struggle if you are dining inside. To go orders are stacked up behind the host stand right where people are seated for meals at a table. The food is amazing but the experience needs work. Bar seating is not an option. All seats are reservation required.

Such amazing pizza. Kind staff, so cute inside. Can validate parking too. Still thinking about that crust. 10/10

4.5 stars. We came here because Phil recommended it on Somebody Feed Phil. We came for lunch and it was really busy. Noisy inside. We sat outside. We split a Supermarg pizza (margarita with buffalo mozzarella) with a hot honey dipping sauce for the crust. Pizza was delish (they give you scissors to cut it!) the dough is sourdough and fermented for 3 days. Hot honey was spicier than I expected but tasty. The dough is the standout. Service was friendly but apparently there were specials that he forgot to tell us about? We heard him tell another table. The playlist was amazing. Definitely recommend!

Insane pizza. Crust was so fluffy but airy and perfectly browned in the oven. Salumi- which was a Hot Calabrian honey pepperoni was my favorite it was so crispy and buttery and soft. French onion soup with horseradish sauce was also insane but lacked onion flavor in my opinion. Got a blood orange aperol spritz which was also amazing and perfect mix of sweet and sour. Also got the miso ranch for the pizza. More tasted like dill ranch which was sad but it was amazing dill ranch if you told me that's what it was Service was amazing and the place was sooo clean. Also weird note but the bathrooms were like a spa and so clean and had their own branded candle which b was cute

Another great meal at Sho. We went for an early dinner and sat at the bar on Friday night. The bartenders who served us were great. The perfect amount of engagement. We got their new caprese salad, it had buffalo ricotta on it which was a fun twist on the classic, we enjoyed it. We also got their special pizza which included peaches and loves it as well. Great service, great environment and great food like always.

Had a great experience at SHO Pizza Bar. The food was really good, but the Caesar salad honestly stole the show for me it was so fresh, flavorful, and easily one of the best I've had in a while. Great atmosphere and definitely a spot I'd come back to.

This Pizza spot in East Nashville should be on your list if you haven't been !! It was recognized by the Michelin Guide and 50 Top Pizza in 2025. It's ran by chef Sean Brock featuring Neo- Neopolitan style Pizza featuring a Chef's counter where you can watch the staff cutting fresh ingredients, forming dough and making pizzas in the open kitchen. They use high quality ingredients including DOP Buffalo Mozzarella and Fiore Di Latte flown in from Italy weekly. They have a list in the kitchen of where they get locally and globally sourced ingredients. They ferment their dough for 3 days and use a Wood Fired Oven to cook their delicious pizzas. They serve Snacks, Salads, Wood Fired Pizzas and a couple Desserts. The interior has a sleek and modern feel along with some outdoor tables and a covered patio. They have a full bar and validate parking for 1 1/2 hours. The staff were super nice and we chatted with some of the chef's while they were in front of us cutting bread and forming dough. It was a Very cool and nice dining experience. To finish the review-- The Pizzas are about 12 inches round and I would recommend making reservations if you want to sit at the chef's counter. I will definitely be going back soon.

It took me almost a year to make it to Sean Brock's Sho Pizza Bar in East Nashville, but wow, when I made it last week, I was blown away. It was overall one of the best meals I've had in town. More than just "a pizza place," it's a fabulous restaurant experience, with every detail carefully considered and executed. No wonder Sho was just awarded a 2025 Michelin Bib Gourmand designation. Chef Brock reinterprets Neapolitan tradition with inspiration from pizza he encountered in Tokyo, the name "Sho" coming from the Japanese word shokunin, meaning a deep devotion to one's craft. The dough is cold-fermented for 72 hours in a glass-enclosed "laboratory-like" clean-room. It provides an airy yet chewy crust that's served with char from the Stefano Ferrara Forni wood-fired oven. The glass-walled area also displays provenance of pretty much everything in restaurant - the cheeses, meats, vegetables and even the firewood used here. (It reminded me a bit of the lobby at the original Husk). When, not if, you go, you MUST sit at the 12-seat chef's counter. You get a front row seat to the pizza-making process, watching dough being gently shaped in a unique sort of process... and pies sliding into the fire. My server Liz was really great - friendly, attentive, and polished without any sort of stuffiness. While pizza is the star, the few other items we tried were also delicious. Check out the photos... *** Salumi Pizza - Beef Pepperoni, Fior Di Latte DOP, Fresh Oregano, Asiago, Calabrian Chili Honey *** Supermarg Pizza - Tomato Sauce, Basil, Parmigiano Reggiano, Buffalo Mozzarella DOP, Garlic, Evoo *** Little Gem & Herb Salad - Sourwood Honey & Yuzu Vinaigrette, Smoked Benne Seed *** Marinated Olives - Fennel Pollen & Orange *** Slow Burn Margarita - Campo Bravo Blanco, Lime, Habanero Those two pies were possibly the best pizza I've ever enjoyed. There's about ten on the regular menu, and two or three blackboard specials every day. If I lived closer I'd aim to try the whole menu ASAP. In short: If you're in Nashville and love pizza that goes beyond the ordinary -- balanced with creativity, fired with skill, and served with genuine warmth -- Sho Pizza Bar is an absolute must. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went to Sho Pizza on a Monday night and honestly... best decision ever. Loved loved loved the place. Definitely make a reservation. The place isn't very big and it gets busy (even on a Monday), but booking is super easy. We've followed Chef Sean Brock for a while, so it was such a cool surprise to see him there that night, not only cooking but also mixing music. The vibe was so fun and relaxed. We sat at the pizza bar so we could watch everything happen, and I highly recommend doing that. Service was great, very laid back, nothing fancy or over-the-top, just good people who clearly care about the food, which if you ask me, it's the way to go. We had to start with the Caesar since it's their most famous appetizer. It lives up to the hype, and the cheese. As for the pizza, it is Neo- Napolitano style. High-quality ingredients, beautiful cold fermented dough, and thoughtful combinations. Loved the board where they list all of their ingredients providers and where it comes from. We got the Super Marg (basically a Margherita with mozzarella di bufala) and the Bianca Pizza; garlic cream sauce, buffalo mozzarella DOP, asiago, lemon, EVOO. Saying that the pizza was amazing is an understatement. We paired it all with a beautiful bottle of Nebbiolo, and then... the Matcha Tiramisu. I'm not even a matcha person and I was obsessed. I knew this place will become one of my favorites in the city, and now I understand why!

I took my buddy out for a celebratory promotion dinner to Ophelia's. We're from Huston and staying at the hotel across from this restaurant, we heard great things so on our last night we decided to celebrate his good news here. Within thirty seconds of us sitting down our waitress came out to greet us and pour waters for us. She was incredibly kind and bubbly, beautiful young girl. The service was next level. Our server, Lu lu, gave us great recommendations on cocktails and appetizers. She got to know what we enjoyed and recommended the whipped ricotta to us, which was delicious. Creamy ricotta with honey, oil, spice, and bread. Game Changing bread, perfectly baked. When it was time for our dinner, we decided to get the calzone, lasagna, and a pizza. The food came out within twenty minutes and it was just incredible. We decided for tiramisu as our dessert, but we should've gotten the cream puff, the table next to us got one and it looked great. When our waitress brought out our check she very respectfully asked where my buddy was from, as he has a pretty thick accent. He told her that he's Russian and her face lit up, she immediately started having a full conversation with him in Russian. Apparently, she knows the language conversationally. I mean, what a coincidence. My buddy was so tickled by it, and I think he really appreciated it. We also saw the chef come out and talk to one of the other tables, seriously, people were asking to speak to the chef to give their compliments. All in all, this was a wonderful restaurant that runs smoothly and is very professional. Yet it still remains to make you feel as if you're important and taken care of. Come here if you are able.
