Normally I don't write reviews but I have been grappling with this for several weeks now and I finally decided I have to write something. Not to keep any customers away but to bring something to this salons management or owners attention. The issue I have with the woman who cut my hair was her language. I had my 9 month old baby with me and thankfully he is not to the repeating stage yet because the stylist frequently used the "F" word during my cut. As did her neighboring stylists. Now I cuss, but I am respectful enough to not use this language around my son or in public places. I think people think it is socially acceptable to talk however they like, whether they know the people around them or not. And for someone who is running and renting her own booth, trying to attract new clients, I do not think this is the best way to conduct ones self. I had my hair cut, it was an okay cut, nothing amazing. She didn't ask how I styled my hair she just did whatever. She used a flat iron, I don't use a flat iron because I don't like the look it gives my hair. Will I go back, no, I will continue searching for a stylist. read more

First of all I have to tell you I am incredibly uptight when it comes to my hair. I have been searching for a new stylist ever since moving to Colorado over two years ago, but despite paying high-end salon prices I have continuously been disappointed. As a result of this I was way, way overdue for a cut and high/low lights on my very curly very long hair so while up in Lone Tree attending another appointment I thought I would take the risk of walking into a local salon. I am so glad I did. ERIN DUFFEY is the best! She not only listened to what I wanted (and put up with my neuroticism) but was able to make me feel and look like a million dollars. Despite the fact I actually live in Colorado Springs I am going to be making the hour drive up to the Lure Salon and Boutique to see the very talented and lovely Erin Duffey. Marytheresa is fantastic! Moving to a new city brings with it the challenge of finding new doctors and dentist and service providers. . . and hair stylist. When I moved to Denver I tried multiple stylists at three different salons and none of them were clicking right. Marytheresa changed all of that. Every time i walk into Lure Salon i feel so welcome, as everyone is always so joyful and confident. I get greeted at the door and welcomed by my hairdresser, Kelly Kiespert. She is always honest about hairstyles, product, and color that will fit me best. She is always willing to work with me to find just the right time for me to visit for my next appointment. Kelly always lets off a magnificent warm vibe to all of her clients, peers, and co workers. She is always smiling and laughing and never makes anyone feel uncomfortable. She has perfect communicating skills when speaking with clients and always starts conversation. I have never once felt unwelcome or unwanted in Lure. read more

This salon is hopping! It was a flurry of activity when I was there. I went based on the yelp reviews after being frustrated with previous hair stylists. I called in the morning and was able to get in that afternoon. Kelly cut my hair and she did a fantastic job. I took a photo of what I wanted and we discussed what it would look like and how to style it. I have taken that exact photo to 3 other stylists around the area and none of them were able to cut my hair the way I wanted it. Kelly nailed it! The front desk staff were friendly and Kelly was skilled, efficient, friendly and very affordable. I will be going back! read more

Marytheresa Paetow is the hair girl you want in your life!! My husband started out as her client and after I had a bad experience elsewhere he booked me an apt with her, I will never go elsewhere again, she never disappoints, she will talk with you about what style and color you are thinking and be honest about wether or not it would work for your hair color, texture ect.. I have referred people to her and they are always happy with their results!! I love the length of my hair and it's hard to know just how much to cut off to get that healthy look with the body I was seeking. Look no further if you seek out Kelly Kiespert at Lure! Not only did I receive a sexy sought after cut, it was also during a pleasant and non evasive conversation that only women can appreciate. She was easy going, easy to talk to and all while getting a hairstyle that was professional while still being fun and flirty. I would highly recommend Kelly Kiespert at Lure Salon for color and cutting. She has always gotten it right and one time in the past 3 years when the color was not quit right she got me in right away to fix. I now live in Florida and try to make my trips coincide when I need my hair done and she has always fit me in. Fortunately, I have been back and forth almost every 6 weeks for the last 5 months, but moving forward when I am not able to do this I will have to find a fill in near Fort Meyers. Bummer! This is a wonderful Salon, Marytheresa has been been cutting my hair for 3 years. I love going to her because she is very personable and I trust her. She always listens to what I want done with my hair and when I am looking for a change she always has great ideas and makes sure I am comfortable with her suggestions. She has even come to my home when my daughter had an event to go to and did all the updo's for the prom. They were all beautiful an orginal, no 2 were alike. I have been going to Lure Salon for I don't know how long, but forever. Haircuts, nails, facials, and eyebrow waxing. I'll talk to the cows come home, what a great job Barb does with her facials and waxing. I have traveled the world and been to numerous 5-6 star resorts, and Barb, hands down, does a better facial than any of them. She is professional and kind and the products that she uses are amazing. So amazing that I always end up buying the lotions to go home with. I recommend this salon hands down. Their new location is excellent to boot! read more

I can't say enough great things about Emily Murtaugh, hairstylist at Lure Salon, Centennial, CO. She listens to your ideas about your hair and gives great feedback. I always follow Emily's advice because she knows what she's talking about. She has a wealth of experience, and spends more time on my hair than any other stylist I have visited. The supporting staff at Lure Salon is pretty great too! They make you feel welcome from the time you arrive until you leave, plus the coffee bar is well stocked. What more could you ask for? I've been going to Lure to see Dawn Danner for a long time, her work in keeping my nails beautiful despite my constant abuse of them is exceptional.
