I am bummed to give a 1-star rating on Yelp because I feel like Yelp reviews can sometimes be tricky; however, I wanted to share my experience. I was referred to Lush by a friend and went online to set up my first appointment. I was able to set up an appointment and secured the spot by giving my CC info via the website. I was sent a confirmation of my appointment, thereafter. I showed up to my appointment a few days later and much to my surprise, no one was there. I wanted a few minutes, assuming they were running late. After several minutes, I sent a message to the number given on the website stating I was there, sent a screenshot of my confirmation, and never heard a response. I then called and left a message on their VM. I waited 20 minutes and then sent another message saying that I was leaving. I understand that sometimes things happen so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited a few days to see if I heard back from them. Never heard back from the business. No call, text, email. Nothing. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

Having just moved to Dallas I needed a new face and lash lift place which isn't an easy thing to find. I figured I'd hit some misses on my quest but when I found Lush Beauty so close to my house and with such great reviews I decided to give them a try and oh my, am I so glad that I did! Andrea was kind and informative and an absolute pro in her field. She knew it all and shared what she felt I needed to know and did the rest to my face and lashes that were in desperate need of her. I first scheduled an appointment with Lush for a Saturday lash lift with Andrea, it was cancelled the day before. I rescheduled again about a week and a half later with Lindsey, but was unhappy with the results. My lashes had almost no lift. When she was done, she told me repeatedly that they would continue to curl over the next 48 hrs.. they didn't. My lashes barely have any lift and are crimped. I have to use a curler just to get them somewhat even. I reached out to Lush and explained what had happened, I did get a response back the next day asking about my last lash lift, I explained it was about 8 weeks prior. I sent photos as well ... I have not heard back from Lush again, it has been over a week now. Disappointed. read more

The last time I went in for the service, they switched me to Jennifer without telling me ahead of time because Andrea had a funeral to go to. I was not happy, but Jennifer did a great job. I had a facial at Lush and it was amazing! I felt very safe bc of their covid precautions and attention to detail. I had my appointment with Andrea, one of the owners. She was so kind and had the perfect balance of chill energy and good information about what she was doing at each step of the facial. My skin was glowing and felt sooooo good after (and the actual facial was very relaxing minus the few extractions but hey, that's how it is and I'm not complaining since my skin looks bomb). Andrea was recommended to me by a friend of mine who had her make-up done for her wedding and therefore I had a trial with Andrea and loved my makeup! She is knowledgable and is BOSS at what she does! My make-up was flawless on the day of my wedding and used techniques such as 'contouring' for my 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 1 flower girl and I. Everyone looked beautiful and our make-up lasted for the whole day! Her prices on make-up application are very affordable and reasonable. I got married in Austin, and let me tell you - she was way more experienced than the ones I trialled there and the price was even better considering there was a travel fee. Prior to my wedding, I also went to her spa which is in a very convenient location close to SMU for my wedding skin prep. Upon entering her spa, it makes you feel warm and homely. Modern accents yet inviting. I have been to several intimate boutique spas in Dallas but this by far is my favourite! Andrea is always so inviting and warm. She also has a holistic approach and uses products that are made from natural ingredients. The facial I had was also customised for my skin-type as she reviews and examines your skin prior to starting in order to make sure she uses the right type of product that will leave your skin clean, glowing and fresh! I also had some nose extractions and it wasn't as painful as I had imagined it to be. My caterpillar eyebrows that I had grown and grown so that they could be reshaped were perfect too! I endured growing mine out and trying so hard not to pluck them myself so I could have them perfectly re-shaped for my wedding that it was such a relief when Andrea shaped and threaded my brows. My arch was finally noticeable again and no longer a brow that looked like a strip... ha! I highly recommend Andrea and her spa - as not only will you leave her spa with fresh glowing skin, but also a aesthetician that truly cares about your skin AND will leave you even more knowledgeable than you were when you walked in. read more

I started seeing Andrea for facials at a different high-end spa in Dallas when I first moved to the area about 6 years ago. When she left there, I tracked her down (in the most non-creepy stalker-ish way possible lol) ...she is that damn good. Lush Beauty is located in the Ava Pro building right off of Greenville near SMU, and has a few other independent beauty service providers (hair styles, nails technicians, etc) in the same shared location. The other businesses or their customers have never been an issue for me as far as noise and convenient if I need any other services. Andrea's suite is cozy, decorated beautifully and clean! It's really a great location, parking in the front can sometimes be a struggle depending on the time of day/day of the week (It's next to Ozona Bar & Grill, lol UM hello, have you had their brunch? Let's just say the entire block can definitely get packed on the weekend) BUT there's additional private parking located in the rear of the building so it's all good! Andrea is simply the best at what she does. I will not allow another person to touch these eyebrows other than her. She is the sweetest and makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. Andrea is a genuine and kindhearted professional who is passionate about making others feel their very best. She has a holistic approach that I appreciate and very knowledgeable about makeup and skincare. She also carries Sanitas skincare products which are freaking amazing however is never pushy about it or makes you feel like you have to buy anything extra. Other than waxings, (eyebrows to brazilians) I've had customized facials, chemical peels, eye lash tabbing and makeup done here and have loved all of her work thus far. Got a keratin lash lift and tint with Andrea today and so far it's been great! Can't get my lashes wet for two days then will see how it goes but thus far it almost looks like extensions and can't wait to see what it looks like with mascara! Lasts around 8 weeks thus much less maintenance then extensions! A bit pricey but worth it if it works. Andrea was super sweet and treatment was relaxing-fell asleep during it! read more

Came here this past weekend for a training and WOW. The space was so nice, open, and CLEAN!! The waiting area is very open and comfortable. The treatment rooms are huuuuge. Usually when you go to get a treatment, there is no space. That is the complete opposite of Andreas space! There was enough room in each treatment room for the 8 other students and I to fit very comfortably. Andreas knowledge of this industry is amazing, she's very smart and definitely knows what she is talking about. I learned so much just in a few short hours and every question I had was answered fully. I would highly recommend anyone in the Dallas area to go see Andrea with any of your needs! I was very disappointed in their customer service/ response to messages. The day after I had a service I left a msg requesting a callback as I had some questions. The next day I called another number and left a msg requesting a callback. The next day calls to both of those numbers had a recorded msg that the person being called had a voicemail box that had not been set up. I have seen reviews at other locations where people complain of too tight a curl after a lash perm, but Andrea used a large rod for my long lashes, and made my lashes just perfect. I got my wife an appointment to get eyelash extensions for her birthday. The appointment was with Andrea but when we got there Andrea put my wife with Mica. It took three hours, they came out average at best, but the worse part is she got glue in my wife's hair and didn't tell her, we discovered it on the ride home. At one point my wife's eye was glued shut, Mika said "whoops" . BEWARE: My girl friend went to Lush first- her lashes were overdeveloped and getting technician to fix them was not an easy task. I ignored my friends advice to not go through with my appointment and ended up with a burn on my eye and my lashes are now shorter on the one eye and they are crimped. They look awful. What makes it worse is that the technician did not take my complaint seriously when i told her my eye was burning and left the chemicals on. Finally when I questioned the burning feeling a second time she took the chemicals off and rinsed my eye with an eyewash. I called the next day to let them know something went wrong with the lift and the owner diagnosing my burn (WITHOUT EVEN SEEING THE BURN AND NOT BEING IN ANY POSITION TO HAND OUT A MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS) as being the result of what she called a "micro irritation" (which is not even a real thing) that she said was in my eye before i had the service done. I'm updating this review because Andrea has shown herself to be very professional! In spite of some foibles, she proved herself to be a businessperson if great integrity. The two stars are because she is a kind, earnest girl who is very likeable - which is what makes it hard to write this review regarding lash extensions. However, she is incredibly scattered, routinely loses supplies, reschedules appointments, runs late, etc. If the lashes were great, I could tolerate that. But I've been to her 4.5 times now. The first two times were great. The third, SHE ran out of time and asked me to come back to finish the next day. She still charged me for a second 2 week lash fill - 20%. Ok...again since I liked her I could tolerate. Then about 3 days later almost all the lashes fell out on my right eye, and the left eye lost a ton. I waited until my two week fill and told her. Mistakes happen. Then the same exact thing happened again this time - within 5 days I had almost no extensions left. I've been getting them about 3 months now (started elsewhere) so I know what's normal and how to care for them. These are the worst extensions I've ever had. My hydrofacial was amazing, skin was so soft after I could not stop touching it. I also received a brow shaping and eyebrows came out so symmetrical and perfect! She has helped me and my wife get on a Sanitas Plan which has eliminated some serious facial inflammation and flaking. Also, the argon scalp treatment has helped me manage chronic dandruff.
