Haven't been to a Lush store in YEARS and was excited to find one here while I was meeting up with a friend at the spectrum. I walked in around 7:50 p.m. on a Thursday and was in scent heaven! I was looking for a scalp clarifying shampoo and within a minute or so I was greeted by Zay who was tall and had curly hair. I asked him for his recommendations on shampoo and he suggested the Wasabi shampoo and I was sold. I then asked him for curly hair recommendations and also body oil recos. For curly hair he recommended 2 products he uses and I was hesitant to commit to one so he gave me samples of the curly cream and curly moisturizer. I recently used the shampoo and the curl stuff and it actually helped with my curls AND I smelled like horchata. I don't know how else to describe the smell of my hair but that's literally what it was giving and I wasn't mad at it. For body oils, they didn't have any but Zay recommended this soap that melts with your body temperature. The one he recommended definitely smelled like their perfume fragrance I got many years ago called Tuca Tuca. Zay also hooked it up with a few soap samples that I've used as a go-to soap for the gym and it smells AMAZING and works great. It's always a good idea to stop in here for anything. read more

i mostly go here because a friend of mine is an avid patron. i usually browse & smell all the beautiful soaps/products; it's a feast for the senses. i am leaving this review because of Kim, she is an asset to your team, Lush! she was attentive, energetic & understanding. i had my daughter with me who is three. instead of dismissing her she noticed she was smelling the soaps & had her big eyes on all the colorful items. she asked her if she wanted to wash her hands & play with some bubbles at the little hand washing station by the door & proceeded to give her "bubble high fives" & gave us both some hand lotion samples on the way out. she seemed very knowledgeable regarding the many products but her customer service & warm, kind & encouraging demeanor was refreshing and made my experience memorable thank you so much for making my daughter smile, Kim! you are a gem. the other staff were friendly as well. i like the "sea vegetable" soap bar, it smells like a sexy starfish if you could fathom such a scent. their products are displayed nicely & the store is enjoyable to walk through as well. read more

My first time ever visiting this store with to look for Christmas gifts and I ended up staying over an hour admiring all the products and enjoying the scents! I was helped by Joy and Elizabeth who are amazing and provided me with great service. Elizabeth is incredibly knowledgeable with each item in the store and so patient to listen to what I was looking for while offering her guidance to help me. I ended up purchasing gifts for 7 people with her help! Super grateful for her and wanted to acknowledge all her hard work!! Lush is a unisex, beauty store with the mission to have planet-friendly products. They make bath bombs, hair care products, skin care, lips, teeth, deodorant, you name it. People who go here are usually mindful of what they use and eat and want what they use in the bathroom to reflect it. Not to mention they smell good and do a good job in aiding your bodily needs. Covid-19 review! I've been using Lush on and off for years. It is pricey but the products are fun! Lush is located by the Ferris wheel, Nordstrom, and Wahoo's. Shopping during the pandemic means you can't just walk in and out.. you must be allowed in and I'm sure only a few shoppers are allowed at a time. My last visit was not busy at all so there was no long wait or rush to get out. You are asked if you'd like hand sanitizer or use a tiny piece of soap to wash your hands. I used the tiny piece of soap which you can take home. I visited because I had 5 empty fresh face mask containers which you can turn in for 1 free mask! I love their masks! You keep them in the fridge and there are expirations dates. I definitely feel like they are fresh and helps keep my face feeling rejuvenated after wearing a mask for so many hours in a day! One of the little tubs is supposed to be enough for 4 uses. You can never go wrong with bath bombs and bubble bars! I try to make bath bombs last for 2 baths by breaking them in half. There are currently so many cute seasonal items for Christmas which make great gifts! Unfortunately, you are not permitted to take your mask off to smell products which makes it a little harder to choose items. The staff said I could smell thru my mask but I honestly could not. The staff also don't open the face masks to show you what it looks like anymore. It's best to do your homework prior to coming if you're not familiar with the products. All staff members I encountered were helpful in describing products. They were all definitely knowledgeable in ingredients and scents! read more

Customer service was lacking. I came in on 1/13/24 at around noon. There were 3 workers standing around a semi empty store preoccupied with their lil convo, there was another guy standing towards the front acting like he was doing something. No hello, no welcome, no can I help you find something. You're not DOING anyone a favor by standing around getting paid hourly and acting like customers have entered your home and inconvenienced you. Get a grip and better training. I walked out without buying anything because the vibe was super off. You'd think they would have better training since this store is located at a tourist spot. read more

I came in here on May 5 around 12pm and I was helped out by a wonderful lady. I was looking for a bath bomb for my daughter who enjoys them. She referred me to a rainbow bath bomb and the rainbow fun soap. I picked up the Question Cube from the Mario collab before I checked out. The cube smelled amazing and was super cool, once the cube dissolved there was gold coin soap inside. My daughter loved the rainbow fizzy as well. It didn't stain her hands nor the bathtub! I walked in tonight excited to grab a fresh face mask. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Jose. I inquired about the face masks and unfortunately there were none in stock (besides a few) due to them not being delivered and held in customs. Instead, Jose gave me plenty alternatives and recommendations and was very well versed in all things Lush. I decided not to get any of the products because my heart was set on getting Rosy Cheeks. When Jose heard that's what I was looking for he immediately made me a sample so I could take home. Jose was sweet, knowledgeable, and just so friendly and helpful. Thanks for making my night. We had my daughter's birthday party here earlier this month and everyone had a great time! Maddie and Jessie were our party hosts and they were both so sweet, helpful, really made things fun for the girls and kept the party flowing at a nice pace. They got to make a bath bar together and all took home some fun goodies. A back table was already set up for me to put food and drinks on and I also like how the second half of the store was blocked off for only our group. Let me preface this review by saying that the staff at this location, Lush at Irvine Spectrum, are very friendly and helpful. Their review is not about the staff but about their return policy. Clearly on their receipt, it states that if you're not happy with their product they will exchange it for something else or give you a full refund with the receipt, within 90 days. Well I came with a receipt for a body butter that contained chips of some thing that probably hardened from one of the ingredients. I got this body butter as an exchange for a gift box that I received as a birthday present LAST WEEK. Even though the young lady said that that is a part of that product, I clearly don't agree. I don't want to put body butter or lotion that has chips of whatever it is that hardened up, whether it be Shea butter, etc. So I found something to exchange it with, however it didn't quite add up to the original amount. I requested for a store credit, which lady said they don't do. I have never had this problem with the Newport Beach store. So basically they're forcing you to buy more than you want to buy even though I was clearly stating I would buy products just not right now. So I ended up buying stuff that I didn't even want because they wouldn't give me a store credit. I think that is so deceitful. Why don't you just state that on the receipt. Every single retail store I've been to clearly states their return or refund policy on the receipt. Apparently Lush, or this particular one, does things differently. read more

Came to the grand opening event for this LUSH location and it was fantastic! There was music and plenty of people waiting in line for free bath bombs. They have a limited quantity of molds for the free bath bombs and I got the dragon mold. The line went by relatively quick and there was complimentary cake pops while I waited. I think the service was great as everyone was very friendly and I saw many employees making samples and demonstrating how to use their products. As a regular LUSH customer, I love the fact that they have opened a location in the Irvine Spectrum because it is so conveniently located! Parking can be difficult at the mall but plenty of great stores to shop at! read more

This is my happy place. I have a large bath tub and I take a couple baths a week as part of my self care. This place is pricey, but I find it worth the splurge. The bath bombs and bubble bars are top quality. I prefer the bubble bars as they can be used over multiple baths whereas the bath bombs are a one time option. I enjoy the variety of scents and colors. They have even more products available that I haven't tried yet. There's something for everyone here. read more

i haven't been inside a LUSH in so long but for whatever reason decided to stop in today in the middle of running errands and i am SO beyond happy i did. i did not plan on picking anything up, just wanted to see what was new in store and smell some soap but i did not leave empty handed. i was greeted by lauren who is the sweetest person ever (it honestly felt more like i was shopping with a close friend) and we chatted and laughed for almost an hour as she took me around the store showing me all her favorite scents and new products. she was so helpful in recommending products that leaned into what scents i liked and would be easy on any skin irritations i had. i eventually decided on their popular King of Skin body butter bar and Scrubee exfoliating bar both of which she tested on my hands and i LOVED how nourishing they were. i also got their Home Sweet Pineapple body balm spongebob collab which smelled so incredible and also left me super hydrated. she even threw in a sample of the super milk hair conditioner so i could try it out at home :) i cant wait to try all my products out - will definitely be back and ask for lauren again next time im in-store! I appreciate how the Irvine Co. listens to the visitors feedback and has added all these new cool stores that you can find at South Coast or at your favorite outdoor mall like the Grove in LA. I had a gift card and decided to visit this location to redeem. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a nice staff who is more then willing to help you find the appropriate product based on your needs. I was looking for a bath bomb that would help with my aching muscles from yoga and they recommended a few products that would help with this and they were not kidding. I would not go into the store right now during COVID. I understand the need for limited capacity and keeping masks on and all that, but to expect customers to pay high prices for items based on their smell and not allow them to smell it without the mask off is ridiculous. I was not told this while standing in line for 20 minutes. Am I supposed to eat in restaurants without removing my mask as well? The sales associates were very polite about it but it's also not fair to ask them to police ridiculous policies, because they're the ones that have to deal with unhappy customers. read more
