I visited this place on Friday around midday. I had been there once before, a long time ago, and now I remember why I never went back. This visit was so horrible. There was no wait, which was nice, but everything went downhill once the service started. When the esthetician walked in, I immediately told her I had one request that she not snatch large areas because I'm very sensitive down there. She completely ignored that. The first red flag was when she put on her gloves and then threw her hair into a ponytail. That was unsanitary behavior! It instantly turned me off. I don't know why I didn't say anything, but I just wanted to get it over with. Then the sugar wax was super hot. I told her again that I needed her to do smaller sections not tiny, but smaller to make it less painful. She seemed irritated by that. When I asked if she could blow the wax a lil before applying it, she ignored that request too and just said, "It's okay, it only feels hot because it's on the skin." It felt dismissive, like she wasn't taking my discomfort seriously. Throughout the service, she handled me roughly and pressed too hard while checking areas with the wax strip. It felt careless and painful, like she had no regard for my sensitivity or comfort. To make it worse, she didn't even let me clean myself afterward she wiped me down afterwards, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate. Normally, they give you a wipe and allow you to handle that yourself. Overall, she made the entire experience much more painful and unpleasant by ignoring my requests and rushing through the service. There's a big difference between working quickly and being aggressive and rude. I won't be returning here. I really hope she works on her attitude and learns to respect customers' requests especially when it comes to something as personal as a Brazilian wax. I don't remember her name, but she had short black hair. Good luck to anyone who goes...I just hope you get treated better than I did. read more

The good is they get you right in for brows. Especially during the week. The bad is depending on who you get. For some reason I always got the young lady who wears the "plastic gloves". I asked her before to remove them because they are annoying to me while she's threading. Yesterday she threaded my brows and chatted with her peer the entire time. As a result my right eye skin is broken in several places. (See photo). This was the last straw. I will not be going back there. read more

I have visited this location twice with no appointment and each time has been great. The first time I had the young melanin girl And she threaded and tinted my eyebrows. The only tweak would be she did the tint too light. The second time I went in looking for my girl because I thought I had found my person, and then she wasn't there. So I went with a girl who was sitting in her chair to the left. She also seemed new and younger than the rest of the women. I thought she might've been a training however, she's lame my eyebrows better than the first girl. Again, I got them threaded and tinted. She made them a tad bit too boxy near the front of the front of the brow , So I had her shade it out. But the exact amount tinting was done perfectly and it lasted about about two week. Okay, so I normally come here to do my thread and tint. My husband normally does threading. Never had an issue, in fact we were regulars because we loved it so much. I've gotten threading done for years and never been cut. Well today we went back to this location and both got new technicians to work on us. Will be calling tomorrow because once we left we realized we were both cut (I was cut pretty badly). I have three - four cuts on my eyelid, and my husband has one long cut on his. Also he has a long patch of hair that they missed? Not sure how they missed that. Never had this issue so I'll give them a call to see how they plan on handling it! Just very concerned that both technicians cut us. Other than that the final product (minus the cuts on me) was pretty good. Can't say the final product for my husband was good seeing they missed a good patch of hair. read more

I am so glad I had Alisha do my brows today! She totally understood what I asked for and my brows haven't looked this amazing in a looking time! I appreciated that she was fast (pulling the thread) and efficient. I don't remember her going over areas multiple times like others have. Super bonus...I don't have any cuts at all! And I checked with alcohol when I got home. I've been bummed out since the beginning of covid because my old threading place permanently closed. Unique is nice, clean, well lit (and pink!). i am a regular at this location and have been to three other unique threading salons, but i will always come back to this one. i've had every single staff work on me and each one of them does a great job! my go to is anna though, and she is wonderful seeing as the first time i went in for a full body wax, i was so nervous but she took her time with me and made sure i was comfortable. the store is also extremely sanitary, even more so due to covid. they all wear masks as well as the guest, and even though i am vaccinated, that makes me feel much better going to a salon than one who doesn't care as much. if you're ever in the delk rd area, please check them out and asks for anna specifically because she will truly take care of you and make sure you are 100% satisfied. read more

I came in as a walk-in and was brought back almost immediately. I came in to get my eyebrows threaded. The place was super clean! Rami did such a great job about getting my eyebrows back in shape. I also go an eyebrow tint as well. They offer an array of services from eyebrow threading and tinting to waxes, facials and henna tattoos. They were so polite and attentive. I called to set an appointment, and the woman asked if it was a promotion- I said yes because I got a Groupon as a gift . She then proceeded to tell me she was all the way booked to Sunday. I had a feeling her asking me about the promotion before giving me an answer was kind of strange. So I called back about 10 minutes later, and asked if they had any availability today - she proceeded to ask if I was the same person who called earlier and I answered no, so she asked me the same "is this a promotional appointment" Question, to which I also answered no. Then boom magically she said they had an availability at 2 PM. I think it's pretty shady that she lied and said they're all booked because she didn't want to service anyone who has a promotion. The wild part is I was going to tip 50% because it was a gift, and because I know the business only makes around 50% of groupons. So not only now do you have this unfavorable review, you missed out on about $25 of a tip, and I bought three for my friends as a gift who were going to tip the same as well !! Due to this I told them to swap theirs for another salon as well ! Not only did you miss out on four new customers, you also missed out on $100 worth of tips all because you wanted to be rude and not service someone who had a promotion. I bought a $40 gift / special for eyebrow tinting during New Year. It was for 4 tints for $40. They told me I could use it whenever I came in. I have been coming here for the last year and a half... Well I just left there and was unable to use it. They said it couldn't be used February 10-15... the coupon does not state that there are restrictions. The customer service is great, but I will not go back to this location again. Very upset about this. They did not do anything to fix it. read more
