When he was almost done he said "so you don't want to keep any of the other shades for your kit? That's so unfortunate". No, I don't want to keep anything that could negatively harm my clients. Super unprofessional and rude, I hope this person can reflect on their attitude and treat everyone more respectfully.

I filled two containers of shampoo and conditioner plus two bottles of rose toner for 28 bucks. One bit of caution: make sure to do short pauses when you refill the conditioner, as it tends to overflow. The staff also mentioned that a Beaverton location is opening this Fall, which is great so I can get my refill without commuting to their Portland locations.

At my first appointment, we confirmed my two small tattoos directly next to one another would be classified and priced as a single "small" session at $200, and my next visit was rebooked at that same classification with the front desk while Averie was present. During my second session, the treatment went ahead as normal and Averie and I chatted throughout the treatment for ~30 minutes with no mention of any price change. Only after it was complete did the front desk tell me I'd be charged for a "medium" instead, bringing the total to $300. When I pushed back, the explanation I got from Averie felt jumbled and inconsistent. I paid the difference anyway because I'd already received the treatment and didn't feel I had a real choice. Deciding pricing after a service is done, when the client has no ability to say no, isn't something I can overlook, especially with a licensed provider where trust matters. I'm not sure if I'll be booking future sessions here. EDIT: The owner has reached out to rectify the situation, so I'll adjust the stars rating but leaving this up in case there are others who run into this same issue for transparency.

They offer a wide range of services, including microneedling, laser treatments, tattoo removal, and more, and the entire space has a polished, high-end feel without being intimidating. Angela's treatment room is lovely and comfortable, and she has a way of making the whole experience feel relaxed while still being extremely precise and professional. I have only had Dysport, nothing else and recently went to an equally if not a better location for similar injectables at the Vancouver waterfront and it was a fraction of the price. You can also find Groupons (then cross check their Yelp reviews) for a fraction of that. I usually prefer to do lasers etc when I travel because it is MUCH LESS than of the price for the same treatments in the states, but I usually get Botox at home. Overall the vibes are weird, cons of treatments (other than dangerous) aren't really shared, or alternative options for the look you want are not shared (if not sold here) similar to other reviews. I originally tried Dysport in my massetur muscles in my jaw for tension. It helped of course but I did notice slight jowling after which I found out was correlated/caused from Botox in the jaw from tiktok vids. Needless to say, it isn't addressing the underlying problem and is just a bandaid. My last appointment here, I shared I wanted to look a little lifted and refreshed mostly under my eyes. I had done lasers and microneedling in the past which helped, but was short lived. Now -- more thanks to tiktok -- I probably need to fork over for sculptra or sofwave. This will NOT be fixed by injectables. My nurse told me she could do a little cheek filer and some other filler around my face. Mind you, I'm terrified of filler. Potentially I would want a facelift down the line which I have heard can complicate that process, but mostly I don't like the bloated look, it is often so obvious and then you become blind to it, keep getting it, and look crazy. Especially in the cheeks. I already have full lips so I don't need that. It was sold as if it would even out my face and give more balance, and I thought about it, did trust the nurse, who had great texture but who's own filler was still a tad overdone, making me a little wary. It's not like Botox where it wears off over months. You're getting it "dissolved" or whatever with little lumps lying around forever, so I wanted to take the time to think about it and ended up canceling. I could see others being very pressured and trying at the appointment even though I'm sure this is as overpriced as Botox and it gives you the vibes they're trying to hit a metric. They should give you options--even if they don't offer the treatment--for the result you are looking for.

If you walk up the street towards Aesop like my daughter and I did on NW 23rd St in the Nob Hill area of Portland, you can smell their scents before you see them! The theme colors in this shop and its packaging are amber- in their glass bottles, dark greens (packages), creams (candle holders) and blacks in container packaging. The simple layout works and that awesome sink of theirs so you can sample their hand/body soaps to sample. Even with all their skin, hair, body care, home items and fragrances, the appeal is not exclusively feminine- there are also lot of scents that are gender-neutral. The scents on the products are pretty strong as they all mix together here. However, if you smell one item at a time, you'll truly pick up on their fragrance. This is not some cheap crap on your nose- it'll cost you- but the quality is nice and they're unique. My $19 travel size Geranium body wash and $40 3.4oz Geranium hand lotion was a tough pill to swallow- but they smell great. There's a warm welcome, the staff is friendly and patient.
