This is a great little Lush store! Yes, it's smaller than some, but it sure packs a punch! My daughter and I visited here when one of the two employees was on a break, and the one remaining sales lady was really running around, helping out multiple customers. Yet she still noticed my kid and me, greeted us warmly, asked if we needed help finding anything. I was impressed with her multi-tasking and her genuinely friendly disposition. My kid knows the Lush product line pretty well, and she knew exactly what she wanted to get, so while she beelined to that product, I browsed. I gotta say, I'm impressed with this brand. Sure, the prices are high, but it's an ethical brand and the quality of products is wonderful. At check-out, the sales woman chatted with us a bit. I wish I got her name, as she was really pleasant, and she clearly knew the product line. She threw in the bag some complimentary samples of some body scrubs. So nice!

This is a much smaller Lush than the one near downtown Portland, but the service was still plenty friendly and the products are the same. In case you haven't been initiated into the cult of Lush, it's body and cosmetic products made out of fresh ingredients. But I didn't fall for these products just because they were "all-natural" (if glitter could be considered natural), I fell for their amazingly potent fragrances and the super high quality of anything you get yours hand on in the store. The Blousey shampoo is made a full 33% with fresh bananas. The rest of it could be arsenic for all I care, the smell and the moisture is ridiculous. My hair has made full recovery from my bleaching and perming. Their Happy Happy Joy Joy conditioner induces memories of rose gardens and mossy forest walks. The only downside is, the prices. Good luck escaping Lush with your any of your paycheck still at hand. I've walked into Lush and starved for the rest of the month due to pungent shower gels and facial cleansers. Just. Ugh, the super sniff.

Orange shampoo bar, conditioner bar, Miranda soap and hand cream sample!

Since I have sensitive skin and am allergic to industrial anti-fungal ingredients, it's nice to know their products have shorter lists of ingredients and my skin won't be irritated. I filled two containers of shampoo and conditioner plus two bottles of rose toner for 28 bucks. One bit of caution: make sure to do short pauses when you refill the conditioner, as it tends to overflow. At my first appointment, we confirmed my two small tattoos directly next to one another would be classified and priced as a single "small" session at $200, and my next visit was rebooked at that same classification with the front desk while Averie was present. During my second session, the treatment went ahead as normal and Averie and I chatted throughout the treatment for ~30 minutes with no mention of any price change. Only after it was complete did the front desk tell me I'd be charged for a "medium" instead, bringing the total to $300. When I pushed back, the explanation I got from Averie felt jumbled and inconsistent. I paid the difference anyway because I'd already received the treatment and didn't feel I had a real choice. Deciding pricing after a service is done, when the client has no ability to say no, isn't something I can overlook, especially with a licensed provider where trust matters. I'm not sure if I'll be booking future sessions here. EDIT: The owner has reached out to rectify the situation, so I'll adjust the stars rating but leaving this up in case there are others who run into this same issue for transparency.

I have only had Dysport, nothing else and recently went to an equally if not a better location for similar injectables at the Vancouver waterfront and it was a fraction of the price. You can also find Groupons (then cross check their Yelp reviews) for a fraction of that. I usually prefer to do lasers etc when I travel because it is MUCH LESS than of the price for the same treatments in the states, but I usually get Botox at home. Overall the vibes are weird, cons of treatments (other than dangerous) aren't really shared, or alternative options for the look you want are not shared (if not sold here) similar to other reviews. I originally tried Dysport in my massetur muscles in my jaw for tension. It helped of course but I did notice slight jowling after which I found out was correlated/caused from Botox in the jaw from tiktok vids. Needless to say, it isn't addressing the underlying problem and is just a bandaid. My last appointment here, I shared I wanted to look a little lifted and refreshed mostly under my eyes. I had done lasers and microneedling in the past which helped, but was short lived. Now -- more thanks to tiktok -- I probably need to fork over for sculptra or sofwave. This will NOT be fixed by injectables. My nurse told me she could do a little cheek filer and some other filler around my face. Mind you, I'm terrified of filler. Potentially I would want a facelift down the line which I have heard can complicate that process, but mostly I don't like the bloated look, it is often so obvious and then you become blind to it, keep getting it, and look crazy. Especially in the cheeks. I already have full lips so I don't need that. It was sold as if it would even out my face and give more balance, and I thought about it, did trust the nurse, who had great texture but who's own filler was still a tad overdone, making me a little wary. It's not like Botox where it wears off over months. You're getting it "dissolved" or whatever with little lumps lying around forever, so I wanted to take the time to think about it and ended up canceling. I could see others being very pressured and trying at the appointment even though I'm sure this is as overpriced as Botox and it gives you the vibes they're trying to hit a metric. They should give you options--even if they don't offer the treatment--for the result you are looking for.
