I know we loved the place that was here prior. But, things change and new ownership has occurred. I don't think it is fair to compare to the last. Let's get a fresh fresh. This carwash is pretty groovy! Colorful lights and soaps. Cherry on top, a theme that keeps running from start to finish. It was nice to stay in the car. Maybe that's the 90s in me, but there is something about staying in your car that makes it convenient and you get a show. My mom has joined a rewards/payment program something or other for her car washes. Like a punch card. She enjoys it. It makes it much easier. When we arrived we went right in. There was a small line, but no issues. We entered the tunnel of love and and the van was treated to a fantastic bath. The water, soap and cloths did everything they needed to do. She came out clean, and dried well. No complaints really. If you need all the extras and bells and whistles, this may not be for you. But, if you need a place that will get your car wash, is convenient and is priced reasonably, come in the Luv Tunnel! read more

I was so happy with my experience at this particular LUV car wash yesterday that I'm writing a review on Christmas Day! Nicole was absolutely amazing. She was working her tail off from helping people driving up to the machine where you choose your wash/pay, moving the line along, using a brush to pre wash car before they went thru the wash, helping folks to dry their car, applying tire shine, etc. I was so impressed! I live literally around the corner from another LUV location and I do not experience any of this. They actually had towels available for drying off your car. I was able to pull into a carport with 3 walls to dry and vacuum my car. There are vacuums both near the front and the back of the car. It was great! My car came out clean and I have no complains! I will most definitely be returning to this location! read more

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN I FEEL SO STRONGLY ABOUT SUBMITTING A REVIEW THAT I AM STILL DOING IT A MONTH LATER????? I recently went to the LUV Car Wash on Egypt Rd/Audubon for the first time. For context - I am NOT one of those people that gets their car washed frequently. I definitely should be based on the canine fur confetti all over the inside of my Forester; but it is a luxury in time and money that I simply cannot afford right now. That being said, the infrequency made getting a car wash a genuine treat for me...and quite an undertaking too. When I arrived, an employee Nicole (who turned out to be a mgr) did not try to oversell me on their services. She offered, but was not pushy. Kudos - seriously. I did not feel like the price point was off at this carwash versus others that are in the area. I get in accidents navigating those small carts at the grocery store; so I was glad to have been guided perfectly onto the tire rails so that it did not damage my rims. Then, when the car was washed (which definitely helped...but, honestly, anything with soap likely would have helped), Nicole came around to show me all of the free types of options I could use. The basics like towels and Windex...and vacuums (which all worked with good suction). I was surprised to read just now a few other reviews saying things were not working, but that is not uncommon in this industry I imagine. I find it hard to believe that if problem were raised to management that it would simply be ignored...at least that does not track with my personal experience. I should note that I went at a time that was not busy, and so I was able to take more time to address the many issues contained in my hazmat on wheels. During the entire time, Nicole would check to make sure I was doing ok without being pushy, she took all my matts and washed them, helped get the gunk out of the door frames, and was still managing to help others too. I kept the LUV Carwash card so I would not forget to write the review that they deserved. In this case, it was in significant part due to Nicole's efforts to ensure I was a happy and satisfied customer. I am...but it is also because everything I paid for worked and the process was smooth. I am happy to provide positive or constructive reviews when a business transaction warrants one. LUV Carwash is no different. Thanks to Nicole and to LUV Carwash for just making it an overwhelmingly positive experience. It allowed me to enjoy driving around in such a clean vehicle (although said dog insured that did not last too long). New owner, LUV, has made wholesale changes making this car wash NOTHING like what I've enjoyed the last several years. Interior wash only on weekends. Only two employees on duty making service for the exterior only wash very slow. Not that I ever purchased anything from the storefront... all of that is essentially gone. In the past I would frequent this car wash and I would have given it five stars or more if I could. They were the absolute best I've ever been too, especially with the interior. Recently I've pulled in twice and twice I've turned around and left. It looks like they are closed and there is a small handwritten sign that says" Exterior Only, Sorry for the Inconvience". I'm not sure if they are transitioning to a different business model, but I always wonder what people are thinking when you buy a successful business and take away everything that was making it successful. read more

Very disappointed. Took my car to get all the salt from the recent winter weather removed. I understood they weren't going to clean the windows and if I wanted it vacuumed I had to do it myself. This used to be a really good car wash. Now I give it 2 stars because the people were friendly, but 2 is extremely generous. Sign out front says exterior only. I came here instead of an auto drive through specifically because I needed vacuuming and surfaces wiped down, but I'm here now, whatever. Ask the cashier if "exterior only" is due to the new ownership, or do they have equipment problems. I'm told they don't have enough people on, they were doing it earlier, they do it when they can. "Oh, I was by here this morning and you were closed, what time do you open?" "Around 9:30-10." So they open..,whenever. When they're open, they may or may not offer the services they claim to have. And during my time there, I saw 2 employees sitting with their phones, and 3 different employees came through the front of the place during the time I was the only customer there. read more

As other reviewers have been I was a long term customer prior to this change to Luv. Previous experience was excellent, with energenic workers vacuuming, toweling, etc. Now, you go to a kiosk, drive through a 1950's style "automated wash" and then dry it and vacuum it yourself, doing your own interior cleanup. The prices are higher and the service dropped off the earth. I'm finding an alternative. read more

I'm agree with the review that said this USED to be the best car wash, offering a wash, dry, and interior vacuum and window cleaning. Since it was sold to a corporate entity it's not worth it anymore. The price went up and the service offered went down. I was a customer for close to a decade, but I won't be going back again. Not concerned with them not offering the vacuum service as have a black car that needs to be washed with care and towel dried which they do very well. I used to come here all the time and get a a decent vacuum, decent window cleaning along with dashboard. I came today and they no longer offer those services. I must say this Luv car wash isn't it. This used to be the only car wash I liked because they did everything and fast. Last time I ever come. After speaking to my insurance company and the manager or owner Abdel, I believe this was caused by a chip in my windshield and I'm just unlucky. This bad luck cost me $2000. Maybe if I wasn't sitting in the sun waiting 45 min to get my car washed this wouldn't have happened. Normally I'm in and out within 20 min. Normally they're very good, after all, I've been a customer since 2017 or 2018. I guess they're experiencing a staff shortage. read more

Hopefully after all the innovations it will improve. However, since they've went Corporate, it has been a challenge and you can tell the employees are unhappy therefore making for a poor experience, the employees are still nice, but you can tell they miss that small business feel. I made an appointment to have my car detailed at West Norriton Auto Wash and did not realize that it was almost exactly a year to date since I first used them for my old leased vehicle. I have to say they did an outstanding job, actually beyond belief! My car interior was disgusting with peanuts & birdseed all over the place from feeding the local wildlife. I had something, i think shampoo, spilled on the back seat and the whole interior was just filthy. I have to say that I was completely shocked when I got the car back. Everything had been shampooed and was spotless. The rugs, the mats, and the seats are like brand new. The windows are so clean, it looks like there is no glass! I mean they really surprised me with how clean, really spotless it is. This was money worth spent and i am a very satisfied customer! This year, it was Eddie who did my car and last year, it was Nicole. I highly recommend requesting either of them. The whole thing was a really great experience and if needed, (because I'm a slob), I'll definitely be bringing it back next year but it's so clean i may not have too. Drove up there 2ce to get inside and outside of my car washed. Both times they said they were not doing inside of cars that day Was stuck in the line and had to get car washed outside.....really needed inside done more. As someone who prefers to wash my cars at home, this place was great in the winter to get the salt off or when it was simply too cold to turn on the hose. Recently went there for the first time since the new owner took over (I suspect it's owned by a private equity firm now, so higher prices, less service), and couldn't believe what I found. First, does the building need to be PINK? Also, where is the small army of employees you used to have? There were literally TWO employees, the guy who dried my car also worked the cash register. Seriously? The wash was about the same (same equipment) but dry job was really phoned in--didn't dry the wheels or door jams like they used to. This will be the last time I go here. read more

Made an 8AM detailing appointment for my VW Tiguan. When I dropped my car off a bit before 8AM it was incredibly filthy (grass, sand, dog hair, dog drool) inside and out. I fully expected that it would take longer than the projected 7 hours to get cleaned up. Around 5PM I was surprised to hear that the team would have the car ready around 6:30, after closing time! The Team here did a FANTASTIC job on my Tiguan. I could not believe how beautiful it looked. It looks just like it did when I drove it home from the dealership 4 years ago. The inside is spotless! Everything is shiny and so clean! Not a dog hair to be found in the car. The outside was spotless! The door jambs are clean! I was completely blown away with how great the car looks! Did it take longer, yes, but the end result was SO worth the wait. The team here worked a miracle. I will definitely bring my car back for some future TLC. I always go for a quick and affordable wash. They're a step up from an automatic or self service wash and it's super easy to head through and leave with a shiny car! I love that the basic package includes a quick interior wipe/vacuum too. read more
