I never have to direct Anna in regards to color or cut/style as she just does Her thing and it turns out perfect. I love that I can go In, sit and she does her thing. The color she uses also keeps my grey hair covered far longer than other color brands I've had used on me over the years. I highly recommend seeing Anna especially if you are a blonde or someone who wants to be a blonde and still look natural.

But thought it would be quick to just go in and ask for an appointment. After walking in no one helping her or asking if she needed something. She finally asked someone for an appointment. The first lady looked at her and said she could't take it asked two others and the looked at her and said they didn't want to it would take too long and they were tired they didn't have anything available. and were very rude and dismissive. My daughter came out crying!!! We are latin by the way. My daughter suffers from high anxiety and is on the spectrum. just going to ask for an appointment was hard enough. Being treated in such a crapy manner was not ok. I was furious I did go on line and they had plenty of appointments available. So not sure what the issue was. This ladies don't need any more costumers. She was only asking to book an appointment by the way. I never leave bad reviews but this place needs to work on their customer service.

Then it was time for touch up on my extensions and during conversation again in text discussing this she quoted price different from previously quoted price. When i asked questions inquiring about this and asking how long appointment would be so i can schedule care for my 7yr old not knowing how long this would take, she snapped texting me telling me she recently fixed her mother's home health insurance and no longer needed to kiss any clients ass. She continued by disrespecting me telling me not to come to my appointment and then had audacity to continue texting telling me she found someone else i can see that has a ad on craigslist that works out garage. I have all of the texts i wish i could post the screenshots as it is so unbelievable but TRUE! i started my first appointment with her spending almost 1000$ and saw her many many times every month for 4 months spending hundreds during every visit to keep working on my hair to get it right. The first day i left the tape extensions she used were visible to others as people pointed it out, very embarrassing. But once i started kind felt stuck as i had already invested 1000$. I work way to hard, and doing This was a very unnecessary luxury that I spoiled myself with so that I would feel better about myself being that I hated my fine short hair like I did that to be treated like this is just unspeakable I Kindly told her I wish her the best and whatever is going on in her life to make her a treat somebody the way that she treated me I hope that it gets better

Thairapy PDX - Meet our stylists

I want to take a moment to share my extensions install experience at Thairapy PDX (Vancouver)…read morebecause it has genuinely been transformative for me, both physically and emotionally. First, Lyndsay, the owner, is truly something special. I came to her in real pain from poorly sized/placed bonds done elsewhere, feeling discouraged and honestly afraid to trust anyone with my hair again. Lyndsay stepped in with so much compassion, care, and expertise. She listened, validated my concerns, and fixed the issue with an incredible level of skill. The end result was the most comfortable and stunning set of Great Lengths extensions I've ever had. I have very challenging hair: texture issues, thin density at the ends, and persistent frizz. Lyndsay handled it with confidence and precision. She is a true expert, but what sets her apart even more is her heart. She's a woman's woman in the best way: deeply compassionate, invested in her clients, and clearly someone who treats her stylists with respect and care. Because of that trust, she thoughtfully transitioned me to Makayla, and I couldn't be more grateful. Makayla is an absolute gem. She has taken the time to really learn my hair, understand its challenges, and ensure that every appointment leaves me comfortable, pain-free, and happy. I come in for continuous blowouts (at least bi-weekly) and regular move-ups, and the consistency and professionalism I experience every single time speaks volumes. Makayla has an incredible way of making me feel seen and pretty. I don't fit the conventional beauty mold by any means, but I leave her chair feeling confident, cared for, and genuinely uplifted. That kind of experience doesn't happen by accident--it's clearly the result of strong mentorship, encouragement, and a healthy salon culture fostered by Lyndsay. I also want to gently address some of the mixed reviews I've seen online. As someone who frequents the salon regularly, I find many of those statements confusing and contradictory to everything I've personally witnessed. This is a dynamic, professional team that tackles challenges head-on and fixes issues when they arise. There is accountability here, and most importantly, a clear commitment to clients. Though I am in no means discrediting what someone else has experienced or felt, my experience has been nothing less than exemplary. If you're someone who has difficult hair, doesn't "fit the mold," or has been burned before and is scared to try again, I cannot encourage you enough to book a consultation. This salon is a place of support, trust, and real expertise. I love being here, I love these women, and I'm so grateful to have found a team that truly cares.

I wanted to hide my grown out highlights and have a consistent color all over. I came prepared with multiple photos and had a very good discussion with Jen about exactly what I wanted done. When we blow dried my hair, you could clearly see the highlights still in my hair and not a smooth transition from my roots. It seemed like my hair didn't even have much of a change. I left without feeling satisfied. This morning 1/23 I called again about getting my hair fixed because I didn't get what we discussed. They said I could wait for Jen again or get it done by a different specialist. I chose to get it fixed with another girl since they could get me in today and I wouldn't have to wait. The girl was very nice and we talked about what I wanted my hair to look like. Again I showed her the same photos and discussed the same things I wanted done and we came to an agreement. She said she put a teddy bear toner in which I was excited about since that follows my inspo pictures. When she was finished drying my hair, it came out to a chocolate brown. I expressed that it looked better than what it was but it already took me so much courage to ask for my hair to be fixed the first time that I couldn't even say that I hated what they did and just followed what the girl was saying. Here are photos to show proof that what I wanted isn't even close to what I got. Hope this helps if you're looking to find a new salon.
